Scent Twin? I don't think so
Nishane Hacivat so ...
The name sounds very noble, as if the Ottoman Sultan himself had been involved in the naming process. The sound of his name radiates characteristically and powerfully when pronounced correctly, and definitely gives food for thought as to what this name is all about.

About the story...
Hacivat is a fictional character from the Karagöztheater, an old-fashioned but very beautiful form of entertainment from the former Ottoman Empire. It is a shadow theatre, where the puppeteer, behind a large white curtain, moves various figures in the form of people, animals or objects back and forth in strong backlight. According to history, the shadow play found its way to today's Turkey through the conquest of Egypt in 1517 by the then Ottoman Sultan Selim the 1st

To the figure...
Hacivat himself is described as an educated and sincere man who is moderate and can slip into different roles. He adheres to the rules of social conduct, but not out of conviction. He is a man of many talents and has various professions ranging from Muhtar ( village headman ) to marriage mediator ( Cöpcatan ). He is a great master of the trade and does not have to make any effort to earn money, so they say. In the theatre he mostly embodies the role of the employer and is therefore the representative of the social order. From the character he is an opportunist.

No wonder, right? The fragrance, in my opinion, very accurately reflects the character of this figure and the perfumer has thus found an appropriate embodiment. A fitting comparison/name for this unique fragrance.

Now the scent...
He starts me off very citric. This is surely due to the grapefruit, whose scent I find comparable to the fragrant splash of a lemon zest on the counter of a posh bar, while the bartender conjures up an old fashioned live. This nuance fades away within an hour and the pineapple is already the centre of attention. It stays fantastic, which gives the fragrance an enormous fruitiness. At the same time the woody notes start, which in combination with the pineapple projects an excellent sillage. After about a few hours Havicat develops a cologne similar to DNA which I find fantastic. Comparable to the Barberia of Alvarez Gomez. The highly praised difference, it performs and lasts much longer.

A few more words...
Just to be clear. For me, Hacivat has nothing to do with Creed Aventus
He is much more than just a twin or an unsuccessful brother who is in the shadow of an Aventus Creed, who is known to be corrupt anyway. Hacivat stands for me on a different pedestal than Aventus and just the comparison or even the labeling as a fragrance twin is definitely an insult to this masterpiece. It is grandiose and breathtaking and belongs for me to the category of fragrance, which gains in performance from second to second. It is comparable to an older experienced lady. The longer the fragrance lingers on the skin, i.e. the older the woman, the sweeter the fruit.

In this sense

Dad's not normal?
Whew... yeah... I'm having trouble putting my thoughts into words. Especially when you just want to get a cure and later on you are compared to Stephan King.
All right, I'll give it a try.

First of all, I want to state that the Baccarat Rouge 540 is an ingeniously sophisticated masterpiece, which can project as multi-faceted as no other fragrance known to me.

How may I address him actually? It neither looks female nor male, nor do I want to define it neutrally. When I look at the bottle, I can't shake the feeling that I'm dealing with the devil in a bottle. The devil is described as male in the bible, which is why I decided to do this right away. The question I ask myself is, why Baccarat Rouge? In Arabic baccarat is the cow, the red cow? I think not. I rather think that Francis Kurkdjian means or accepted this as an allusion or as a cooperation contract with the crystal manufacturer "Baccarat", in the city of the same name, in the region of Grand Est. It is famous for its crystal manufacture. Already in the middle of the 18th century, the French king had a glassworks built in this place, which later became a luxury trader of fine crystal glass goods.

Continue to the bottle...
So his aura radiates so seductively and engagingly to me. It is definitely a purple red, which under the influence of light turns into a fire red. The serious, aristocratic-looking gold on the label and cap is the perfect contrast to this noble bottle. Just pulling off the cap triggers me in a very funny way. It can be removed with a lot of feeling and shortly before the end, before the cap is off, this short jerky resistance, which is only there for a millisecond, provides this unique feeling. This is definitely not an operating error, the other flacons can also be opened in this way.

Now the scent...
The composition of these seemingly noble raw materials results in a fantastic symbol.
I applied it for the first time in the KaDeWe and was directly caught in the net of this flourishing sweet.
I also perceived a slightly pungent nuance, which I would not declare as a small flaw, only as something interesting, something attendant. Outside, however, I perceived him differently. Much more pleasant than in a closed room full of people and smells. When the wind blows on your neck and you perceive this fragrant breeze of Baccarat Rouge, you get a feeling of satisfaction that you otherwise only know from a situation, which I will not explain here (FSK18). This soft, enveloping sweetness, with the slightly powdery and really tiny touch of masculinity that I picked up, makes this fragrance so unique. Even without knowing that the bottle is red, the color red comes to my mind. Or am I biased? On some days, however, it seemed as if it wasn't there at all, which at first disappointed me slightly. On the other hand, this passed quickly again when my better half asked me in the evening why I was applying so much? Sometimes I just do not understand him. Just like you...

Finally, I would like to say that Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum, is something unique, something I have never seen before and I can warmly recommend it to everyone. The price is not exactly favourable, but I can only advise all lovers who do not know it yet to get at least a small sample. I would like to share this euphoria with you.

Thanks a lot

Don't take it amiss!
I'm very open about fragrances and I like to experiment around, but this fragrance is by far the most disgusting thing I've come across. Pure stomach ache and nausea after just one pull of the nose. Just thinking about him, I mean, I could vomit without any problems. Actually I am not so sensitive and I put a lot away. Whoever knows the smell of a grease separator or has ever walked past a vehicle that was just busy doing a professional disposal of the grease separator, knows how bad this smell can be. But in my opinion it is nothing against this smell
I just wanted to encourage others to become familiar with this fragrance and to find out if there is someone who shares this opinion with me. In no case I want to offend or offend someone with this comment. Please check me out. The intention behind it is to express myself as honestly and objectively as possible. I hope I succeeded in these short words.

Kind regards

Not mine!
Who does not know it, you have a sample at home of any X fragrance and think to yourselves today is the big day, today it is your turn. Then you put on the scent and are for the first few seconds heavily excited and after that it's all downhill. This is my experience with Original Santal. The scent crushes me too deeply and gives me a real headache and this already after a few minutes. This composition of ingredients seems to be not mine at all, although I thought the lavender-sandalwood mixture could be something. Afterwards it didn't surprise me either why I didn't like it. Here the fragrance twin is Joop Homme, among others, which I can't stand at all. The resemblance is astonishing, although I find Santal more successful. The fragrance is definitely the niche class from this direction. In addition, I would add to the same category, that of Iceberg Twice pour Homme. A comparable crazy annoying scent that definitely needs to be tested. The scent is so uniquely bad (my feeling) that it has something attractive about it. I didn't want to reap any hate now, I just wanted to express my opinion.

Kind regards

The love that I had to learn to appreciate...
35 years after the release the time has come. Today I also test a well-known classic.
I had been looking for a classic masculine men's fragrance for a long time, and the fresh breeze of the PDM Percival and the unique creation MFK Masculin Pluriel led me straight here.

I remember my first wet shave when I was 13 years old and the burning of the skin afterwards from my father's aftershave, which was not Cool Water from Davidoff, but you all know there is a whole lot of aftershave that smells similar. If I may be honest, this scent DNA was one of the first, if not the first scent (as a perfume) I noticed. I felt that the whole men's world around me wore this or similar scent at that time. As a child/teenager I didn't really like this scent, but it radiated a certain masculinity in many ways, which is why I decided to apply this aftershave every time after shaving. I don't know about you guys, but I wanted to grow up quickly...

A few years passed and for my aunt's birthday I got the perfume Cool Water from Davidoff. Yes, I remembered my first shave as well as today, but took in the scent more positively than then. Fresh, cool and relaxed, just right for my pubescent age. Feeling unstoppable, my friends and I made the streets of Berlin unsafe. We definitely weren't as cool as we were, but this scent enveloped me with a unique aura. I felt the energy of masculinity and the youthful zeal of all age groups clenched within me and walked the streets with my head held high. Today I laugh about my naive young me and am happy to be able to reminisce.

But now I was allowed to find out that my sprayed-on coolness did not last long.
The scent didn't last half a day and that disappointed me quite a bit back then.
No wonder with 20,00€ for 75ml I should not have expected much more at that time.
At that time it remained with this one bottle.

Let's say that I learned to love the scent and its DNA at a young age, but I didn't agree with his performance at all.

Now recently I saw the fragrance twin of Cool Water, the older version, the same perfumer, a niche! Man man man man I was excited. "Green Irish Tweed" by Creed. A very fitting name for this fragrance. By now I know several scents by Creed, but I didn't know this jewel yet. First of all, a big thank you to Naxy for giving me this sample. I am very enthusiastic! Exactly the lost treasure of my dreams, which I had been longing for for a long time. I associate this fragrance very much with youthful recklessness and courage for new things.
A young man in search of his identity with many sharp-edged stones on his way.
Green behind the ears, cheeky and inexperienced, but sensitive, warm and strong heart. Similar to Sam Claflin in the Hollywood movie "The Color of Horizon". GIT has a very soft, slightly nutty floral freshness. Woody green nuances round it off nicely. It seems spicy and woody in the end, if one may say so

I am happy to have found him. From today on, the fragrance will be there for me on days when I would appreciate the one or other courageous youthful recklessness in me. Even though I am happy to be another person today, I miss this daring nature very much.

Thanks for your time

Kind regards
