Before this one, I thought all dupes were easily detectable and with very poor performance, but Writer has totally changed my attitude on dupes. They offered it in the beauty shop and of course I was very skeptical about it at first, but then I checked the reviews on parfumo and decided to try, don't regret at all, such a great fragrance, not even mentioning the value for money. The smell is very good and with no indication that this is only a 25$ fragrance. It is very similar to Dior Sauvage (but the latter is still little more charismatic I think), with great longevity and sillage. I've never thought that fragrances at this price could demonstrate such a great durability and projection.

Received this as a gift on my birthday, ironically, not that one I wished (Ysl La Nuit) but this is also a great fragrance, always getting attention and compliments. Longevity and sillage are not that great but still better than the legendary La Nuit. Definitely worth a try.

I think this one is one of the most underrated fragrances and a true masterpiece, the scent is so good and unique, can't believe it is rated only 7.9. And when you buy this for such an accessible price, simply, a bargain! Longevity and sillage are not that great but still, the scent compensates that all. And of course, the bottle, a separate topic, I'm still keeping it although its been empty for almost a year now.

Maybe this is because of my high expectations on this one or may be I bought it from the wrong seller, but I did not like this version as much as Terre Hermes EDT. I think EDT has better scent and more importantly (and surprisingly), better longevity and sillage. Of course Terre Hermes parfum is very good fragrance but I think EDT is a better buy since it is more charismatic (at least to me) and plus, its cheaper and available in 100ml, whereas EDP is offered in 75ml and with the higher price.

From the very opening of the box I felt that this one will be one of the best fragrances I've ever tried. It was a blind buy, counting on reviews and ratings on parfumo and other sites, and I was totally satisfied. Perfect scent, very good longevity and sillage, ideal for office and business. The only drawback I noticed is that you should always apply the right amount and do not spray too much, as it somehow changes its effect and can't rebound. And ff course its a Spring/Fall fragrance, in other seasons the performance is weak and the scent is somehow different.
