Familiar symphony of sweet notes
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a big fan of Xerjoff, but the Symphonium is a real masterpiece, along with very few other Xerjoff pieces.
I lurked around this fragrance for a long time, read and looked at reviews again and again and finally bought it.
After spraying it on, the fragrance opens with a beautiful orange note underlined by chocolate, which remains throughout the entire fragrance
In fact, as many have described, it resembles a Jaffa Cake.
After some time, oud and vanilla are added and give the whole thing a fine and grown-up twist, so that this gourmand is not only unisex, but also wearable by young and old.
There is also a certain similarity to "Acqua e Zucchero | Profumum Roma", which has a similar fragrance character, but is not as fine and harmonious without the oud and the chocolate note and has something slightly pungent, as the moisture there is determined by red forest fruits
Both are a great choice for the coming season, but for me the winner is the "17/17 - Symphonium | XerJoff", as it simply has a finer and more mature aura.

Alone the name Elysium sounds simply noble.
If one looks then still the list of the smell notes at one is simply only astonished.
A symphony of fragrance notes, fruity citrus fresh starting, then slowly goes into a floral note to remain there for a while. For me, the center of the symphony is the most in harmony and really well thought out. One feels summery refreshed, like a sea of flowers through which a small crystal clear stream flows from which you just grab some water to your face.
The final chord of this symphony is a beautiful woody scent with a little bit of leather.
This fragrance is a masterpiece and despite contemplative silage and durability his money yet worth.
You notice the quality of the packaging on the bottle to the fragrance. Here nothing was saved.

when I unpacked you from probably the most noble packaging I have seen so far I did not like you,
You whip one the incense worse in the face than a priest at Christmas Mass.
So much so that you remind of the Amouage Interlude. I have but already, not another so beautiful again purely in the package.
After a short time I notice but that you lie down, you will be soft and warm almost cuddly. You remind me of an evening in front of the fireplace with crème brûlée.

In direct comparison, the Uden Overdose reminds me again and again to the Blanche, only the Blanche in direct comparison like a chicken-chested lauchgestallt the first time in the gym goes and hardly appears.
The Uden, however, acts as if on steroids, and puts everything in the shade.
In dissecting the individual fragrance notes I'm not good, so I'll leave that but he is from beginning to end just absolutely coherent in what he does. And that is to smell good. A sprayer left one right and one on the chest under the clothes, so that when moving again and again ne small fresh cloud comes up over the collar.
All in all, this fragrance is for me one of the best for the modern man.
To come back to the beginning, who does not want to spend so much money on this fragrance for the Blanche here is definitely a good base. But who puts value on performance is the Uden Overdose definitely better off even for the high price.
