Tuberose and Spices
This is a mid-to-low range scent that had to stay dutifully in place during the summer - I couldn't even think of it. But now that it has become cool again, I have him back in use.

A happy, loud and downright minty fresh tuberose unfolds. Some velvety dark chocolate blends in with the spicy-warm red/brown/green overall. I can't detect any great development. The scent lasts a long time and is distinctive even in the final phase, where yes many perfumes become quite generic. The bottle is black, gold, heavy, soft touch and sprays well.

Last winter I wore it in the home office gladly and often, on the other hand, never when I physically visited the office. Colleagues are not accustomed to unusual fragrances. Isn't really a blind buy either, though - it worked for me. Am anyway Miller Harris fan. :-)

Moonlight Shadow
Immediately after spraying on sweetly blows me something vanilla. Oh dear, I think, so I have not imagined... but the scent is not so strong, so he can stay for now and I turn to other things.

Gradually I feel myself standing on a meadow bathed in pale moonlight, which takes away the color of things. Wisps of cloud pass by the moon - some bitter green, some spiked sweet. Leafless trees stretch their branches into the dry air. There must be a pond of water lilies nearby, every now and then I get a very slight aquatic-floral waft.
The next morning, the vanilla greets me again, the night is over and I go shower. Am now times no friend of vanilla, but the in between was strange and beautiful.

The Weils you have to dedicate a little time, and have no preconceived notions, so at least my experience, then you can definitely experience something unusual with them

A real Miller Harris
Actually, I just wanted to write a statement, but then saw that no comment exists yet. Someone should honor this fragrance and yet describe something more detailed, so I will try that.

I am a huge fan of Miller Harris. Unlike other brands, I find the somewhat masculine scents to be particularly successful, so I had no problem blindly purchasing this fragrance when the opportunity presented itself. I still remember the first spray attempt on the back of my hand and perceived: razor sharp wood. I then put the bottle and packaging in the back and forgot about it for a long time. It was too masculine for my little one.

Lately, also caused by home office, where I do not have to take on my colleagues olfactory consideration, I do me more often Terre de Bois (also by MH) in stronger concentration. Certainly not an office scent, but so pleasant... Then I remembered Le Cedre and thought to give it a chance again. Here it helped to empty the tube of the sprayer first to reduce the sharpness.

First, the mallet again. Then I noticed that if I stay at least 4 inches away with my nose, the scent is quite different. It is a floating, medium-weight scent of wood and peat, flowers and foliage, which changes constantly depending on the distance alive. I've noticed this with others of the newer MHs, and I wear them all on the back of one hand only, to liven up the scent by constantly changing distance and moving around.

The fragrance lasts a very long time, is even after 24 hours still creamy to perceive, although often come into contact with water. To re-spray, I look for another skin area, so that the component that remains the longest, does not amplify inharmoniously.

This fragrance is not very perfumey, but just smells pleasant. At times, it also smells very clean like fresh laundry. As I said, he is changeable by movement. Thus, you can also really call him unisex.

It reminds me slightly of Nasomatto and China White in its floaty way, but without being morbid. I still have the clear bottle with paper label on it. Now that I've gotten to know the fragrance better, I can understand why Miller Harris has kept it in their range, albeit in a black bottle. They have cut down their range quite a bit - I'm very curious to see in which direction it will continue!

Soap! Karma!
Finally, finally I could complete my collection of Weils. Some time ago I had already seen some bottles at TK Maxx, but I thought there was no hurry. And then from now on, not a single bottle was available anymore until yesterday. I took it right away, because: what's gone is gone.

With these, I can. At first it's always a moment of shock, until the unexpected has completely arrived. And then I get in a good mood. So this morning I spray a couple of times on the back of my hand and wait to see what will come. And I would never have expected this: a stuffy moment of stuffness and then the smell of soap! Not bad, but nice and clean. And that at Weil's? Strange... and then it got sweeter. And finer. Until it smelled not only of soap, but of THE karmic soap of Lush. Just that sweet and slightly fruity patchouli. Weils' DNA is still detectable. I was careful with the dosage in the beginning (I know Weil), and that was a good thing, because a little too much brings apricot in the beginning, but it soon evaporates. The scent of karma lasts for a few hours anyway.

I am pleased about the successful blind purchase at a low price.

Pink waters are deep
This kitschy bottle doesn't look much good. The transparent pink plastic cap gives a squeaky impression. The lower part of the bottle reflects this colour and the upper part looks unspectacular. A greenish-pink colour can only be seen with a more precise pattern. Are there those actually?

A watery paint. A pond. The morning sun throws a pink shine on the surface between the white and pink water lilies. This is not Disneyland. Anyone who wanted to go there would have tinted sunglasses on and find themselves in a perfect world with Weil's DNA. Oily and sluggish the pond. Does it smell cute in here? Yes somehow, but also minty and yet again not.

Sprayed on last night and in the morning still clearly in my nose. Guys, this is better than I expected. It's deep. And it's pink. Yes.

No reason available to peel any spots off this sticky radiant scent, it is as it is and it is good.
