I've been testing this fragrance for some time now and as so often I felt it biting, annoying and intrusive when first sprayed on, but still with a certain something. Now that it happened to me not only once that I sniffed my wrist in bed in the evening and could hardly fall asleep before ecstasy, I have to take it today as 75 ml. Bottle, especially since I have learned that it is already no longer produced.
On my skin the prelude is very leathery and completely unpleasant, it has big edges, but nevertheless a softness behind the big chain rattle can already be guessed, which fights itself in the course of time more and more into the foreground and wins the upper hand after some time.
When the time finally comes, I am surrounded by an absolutely elegant warm velvety fragrance that is hard to beat in class.
Clearly a fragrance to which you have to give plenty of time to unfold, but for which you can take a pretty big reward.
I almost hope not to miss him too much when he won't be available any more soon.

Bitter scratchy soft elegance
Come on, I've known you for a long time!
At first I thought I sprayed Knot from Bottega Veneta. Although the two scents have no similarities in the scent pyramid, at least the top note is not identical in direct comparison, but very similar.
Both fragrances show this wonderfully bitter, sharp scratchiness, and at least Twilly initially no trace of sweetness!
However, in a relatively short time Twilly becomes softer, more conciliatory, without losing his sharpness and he goes a little more in the direction of warm powderiness, but also without becoming pompous.
His initially noticed edges (which make him absolutely interesting) are still there even after a long time, but already a little grinded.
I cannot clearly identify ginger or tuberose, but there are still some secrets in this fragrance that do not appear in his pyramid.
Especially a clearly bitter- citric note makes me pull my hat off.
As I read, Twilly was created for the young Hermes customers, but Twilly is also a very elegant fragrance and I think it is more suitable for women who already know who they are and what they want than for a young girl

I notice a really very delicate cinnamon note, although it doesn't appear in the pyramid and it reminds me a little bit of Kenzo Jungle Elephant. My nose is sticking to my wrist, the cinnamon has disappeared after 30 minutes and gives way to a very radligradline note of black tea, which is discreet yet clearly perceptible. The fragrance exudes a cleanliness that is anything but innocent. It is full, deep, very elegant, neither spicy nor woody and certainly not sweet or mainstream.
I think I'm just about to fall hard in love.

It took me years to dare approach him.
His reputation as Donnerhall made me very reserved towards him.
Now that my large stock of "Diane" by Diane von Fürstenberg has shrunk a lot and is no longer on the market at acceptable prices, I had to make a serious effort to find a new signature fragrance. So I ordered one of these pink flacons at an absolute bargain price because it was listed as a fragrance twin of my beloved Diane and the risk of a possible misbuy would not be a drama.
Two days ago the first anxiously expected sprayer was delivered - seriously expecting to have to take a shower again
Very soapy, but clearly with the certain undertone that all my favourite perfumes have. It will be exciting to see how it develops. Anyway, at first nothing arrives in my nose, which makes my imagination think of a brothel. Clean, elegant rather than wicked and still soapy.
After about 30 minutes I am thinking whether it might not be better to give it away immediately. He's become powdery by now, and I'm not that powdery.
My scents have to be rather harsh and woody - but I know this phenomenon from other scents, which became my absolute darlings afterwards - So Pretty by Cartier, for example, I found at first quite terrible to love him hours later crazy!
And so also here - still approx. 15 minutes later he develops an incredibly soft woodiness, which only becomes elegant. Absolutely far away from the mainstream, absolutely unsweet and exactly my thing!
I don't tend to be sparing with perfume, but I don't seem to have any Sillage, because after we hugged each other to greet each other, several women asked me if this madly great fragrance appealed to me.
