The roasted tonka bean, which should actually appear properly only in the dry down has me in the top note already slain so that I was first really very turned off by the fragrance. Don't get me wrong, I love tonka bean in fragrances, but in Kalan it is so present probably amplified by the oriental spices that almost all other notes are completely drowned out. Reminds me a bit of a dirty, sweaty spice market. I have a hard time finding a "kind" of man (or woman, for example, I usually like to wear masculine fragrances) who would like this scent. He smells extremely provocative and requires really required taste, anything but a crowd pleaser (basically nothing bad but well).I love the bottle, but otherwise I can the fragrance unfortunately really nothing to gain. For me, a real failure in the men's Marlys.

I got hooked on buying Melrose Place by the dry shampoo I was given by Ouai with the same scent.
I was running late to meet a friend, and had sprayed it into my hair at the last second to freshen it up, and was thrilled with the scent. I had this "this smells like me" moment, but did not know at the time that the corresponding perfume even exists. I only found this one online by accident and ordered it without much thought. Keep in mind, this was way before my big perfume craze. When it arrived and tried it for the first time I was more than satisfied. Decent longevity and really true to the original dry shampoo scent. I used it a few times but then it fell into oblivion along with the steep increase in my perfume obsession and thus rapidly increasing number of bottles in my closet. After a few months I smelled it again, and now I feel the need to give it to one of my little sisters. I still think the scent is good, but just a very good choice for a 14-18 year old. It smells like fun and summer, it's unobtrusive but still has a nice vibe. The fragrance that the girl wears to school that everyone likes. A good gift for (god)daughters, nieces, little sisters or other teenage girls. But for beyond the 20 in my opinion nothing...

Since the opinions on this fragrance are very divergent, I have first ordered a bottling. Especially Leni (youtube) had me very angefixt what concerns this fragrance. My first thought after spraying actually went unfortunately in the direction of the "toilet" of which some have already spoken here, but still I wanted to wait. Already after 5 min this scent has made such a transformation on my skin! From classic lemon flush to floral apple! What adds to it are the real oodles of compliments you get with this scent. Perfect for hot summer days, and as luck would have it, the same day my bottling went empty, there was still the 100ml size for 40€ at flaconi. It was meant to be, and now it's one of my favorite out the shower freshies as well as office/everyday perfumes! It puts you in a good mood, seems carefree and light. Can also imagine it very well as a date scent on hot summer days! Nevertheless, in any case first test out, I can well imagine that he develops very differently from person to person.

I struggle to grab another scent when I step out of a cold shower into warmer temperatures in the morning. Delightfully light and summery, with a bit of edge from the basil. No monster sillage, no mega longevity, but a scent you wear for yourself. For a clean, happy feeling!

Cassili is my first choice when it comes to the office in the summer. An incredibly likeable fragrance that is very noticeable, but never intrusive. It smells professional, but still doesn't take itself too seriously. Like the more proper Delina. On my skin it is clearly noticeable for 8 hours
