Mediterranean black licorice?
I pick up none of of the floral elements listed. The main notes listed by the manufacturer are tarragon, lime, and musk. I would agree with the manufacturer's list with the exception of musk, which, if it's there must be a subtle white musk. What I do pick up in addition to the tarragon/anise note is a distinctly bitter and sharp artemisia note. Combined, the effect is not unlike black licorice. Overall, this has a bitter, Mediterranean vibe to me. I like it, but, then again, I tend to like fragrances with bitter edges on them.

Surprisingly Good
Surprisingly good - really good- modern twist on a classic 80s powerhouse type platform. The loudness of the 80's platform is tuned down and a nice, berry/sage/bergamot/civet/cedar set of notes is overlaid and made prominent.

Pros: Pushes all the right olfactory buttons
Cons: none

Not as bad as the ratings
Not as bad as you would suspect from rating number here
Minty, spicy, aquatic similar in opening to Polo Sport. Drydown is a bit cheap and sour smelling, but overall not nearly as bad as reviews here would lead you to believe.

Pros: Lost cost Polo Sport alternative
Cons: Cheap, oddly sour drydown

Turns quirky, haphazard, and unrefined into something (perhaps accidentally) compelling
Odd with lots of evolution. Starts out astringent, bitter, sharp, ozonic, and metallic, with notes of grapefruit, lemon verbena, bitter greenness. There is a trademark Storer dry mortar/dust note as well, as in Monk. The middle phase moves through a floral to castoreum-musk mortar base.

Outdoor market on the ancient silk road
Fantastically lush incense/wood resin based fragrance in the same vein as this house's Mecca Balsam, but sweeter with more herbal, fruity (orange), and spice notes to my nose. Truly sublime.
