Typical Alberto Morillas
I ordered "Bohemian Sunset in Barcelona" and "Morning Sunray in Seville" both for a ridiculous 10.99 each from Zara, as I have always loved many of the fragrances Alberto Morillas has created.

Who does not know him, here are a few of his highlights:
- CK One
- Tommy
- 212 Men
- Acqua di Gio
- Light Blue pour Homme
but also niches such as The Tragedy of Lord George, or Journey Man
and last but not least, the perfumer of Jeremy Fragrance for his line. Love it or hate it.

Morning Sunray is also a typical Morillas and is for me similar (not to be understood as a dupe or twin) as Light Blue by D&G. The fragrance accord is described as follows:

Head: lemon, tarragon, rosemary, neroli
Heart: jasmine, cypress, geranium
Base: soft smoke, ambroxan, oakmoss

The opening is super lemony and fresh and you really think of a fresh sunny morning. In addition to quite a lot of lemon, you can also smell the rosemary and neroli. After a while, it becomes a bit more floral fresh like spring meadow and fresh laundry with jasmine and especially geranium. And that's essentially where it stays. After some time then comes through a little incense, but only faintly perceptible.

Again, the durability is meow and eider I smell after a good 30-40 minutes almost nothing more.

Bohemian Sunset is a typical Morillas and could well pass as a flanker to Acqua di Gio - Barcelona Sunset. The fragrance accord is described as follows.

Head: bergamot, maritime notes, tangerine
Heart: fir, mint, incense
Base: cedar, oakmoss, musk

The opening is also very nice tangy round after citrus notes and sea water, then it becomes warm and cozy with some cedar. From the mint I notice nothing. The description sunset by the sea fits quite well.

Unfortunately, I smell after a good 30-40 minutes almost nothing more.

What an incredibly good scent!
After the shops have opened again in Hamburg, I am only once in the perfume department of the Alsterhaus marched to test the one or the other long remembered fragrance once live.
My first choice was Elysium as the currently probably most hyped men's perfume.
Many thanks at this point to the incredibly nice saleswoman who let me test both the cologne and the perfume on test strips and my skin extensively. Not self-evident in these price regions....

The fragrance is mainstream, but meant in a positive way. I can not imagine anyone who does not like this fragrance. At the same time, he acts unique and independent. My female companion was also immediately taken in a similar way.

Much more words I do not want to lose to the fragrance process, others have already expressed better. The comparison to the (again significantly more expensive) perfume wins the EdC easily, because it smells fresher and fruiter and the perfume simply too sweet and dull works for my sensation. Also in the base, the cologne still has the nose in front. Only - as so often with fresher fragrances - the durability is only moderate. At least in the top and heart notes. The base I could still smell 2 days later on the fragrance strip and I immediately got a "Fierce" association.

In a blind buy a few weeks ago, I had purchased Fierce Supernova by Dua, a blend of Fierce and Elysium. This (not listed here perfume) also smells wonderful and expands the familiar (old) Fierce skillfully a few facets.

To be clear, Elysium smells nothing like Fierce for the first few hours, but with the similarity of the base, I now understand why Dua mixed the two scents.

Whoever can afford it, congratulations. You are not doing anything wrong. Elysium goes always and everywhere but without being generic. A really sensationally good fragrance...

Insurrection Pure II vs CDNIM EdT
I have now bought both fragrances to have a cheap alternative to Creed Aventus, especially because the durability at Aventus dorch very much to be desired.

I only know of two batches of Aventus. The current and I was once allowed to smell the holy grail, which was clearly smokier than the newer. In this respect, I also save me a "is X% similar to Aventus" statement, because this would be wrong in doubt depending on the batch anyway. Fact is, both fragrances would pass for Aventus batches for most people, especially in the dry down.
It's almost too stereotypical to write this, but everything you can read and see about these two scents here or on youtube is essentially true.

ie:
Insurrection Pure II has a super pleasant soft top note with a lot of fruity pineapple, as it goes on it lacks some of the smoke and remains a bit one dimensional but still a very very good scent, especially for the price. Similarity to Aventus is definitely very clearly present. Evtl. this would be a good unisex option of Aventus?

CDNIM EdT actually has the very syntetic aggressive citrusy start, but only if you smell directly on the spray. If you wear it on clothes is also the top note about the sillage immediately "Aventus". The dry down and base are indistinguishable from Aventus in my opinion. Do they smell different in direct comparison? Yes, but is that because they are different batches or a dupe or or?

Both are definitely cheap all day every day alternatives to Aventus if you like DNA (who doesn't?). I layer the two scents meanwhile to get the best of both worlds.

Same review I also post at Insurrection Pure II ;-)
