Midday sun without shade
The fragrance embodies summer - and I think the label hits it quite well. Nevertheless, not for me.

After the beautiful opening, a sweetness takes over that gets no balance. It smells elegant and probably like that prickly pear. I recognize the contribution that iris makes here, without (unfortunately - because I love iris) ever coming to the fore. After a while, you get this fragrant impression of warm skin in the sun, perhaps after swimming in a freshwater lake. But there's something missing that counters the sticky sweetness. I would have liked something green or bitter. Just as I would wish for shade and cool water on a hot summer day

Herbaceous tuberose
The name had put me off: Fougeres are not for me! But yes, this Fougere is. The wonderfully creamy tuberose is there from the start. It's kept well in check by the spicy and herbaceous notes that surround it. It comes into its own more and more as the fragrance develops. The herbaceous accents make room for the creamy tuberose without ever completely disappearing

Refreshing on warm days
Uncomplicated, very fresh after spraying and then it becomes soapy. I like soapy - therefore no problem. The mint and green freshness are very successful here. The concept of Colonia, but without the citrus works. For hot days when I feel like coolness and freshness. Of the many fragrances of this house, the three Colonias (basilico, hoterla and tomilho) have convinced me the most so far and are used on balmy summer evenings

The jasmine flowers in the pot
Smells like the jasmine blossoms in the pot, in the blazing sun after the rain. I smell the blossom here, the green of the branches and leaves, the wet earth and somehow it's warm. Very realistically like jasmine blossoms. Linear is the scent and I think it's beautiful.
But like all soliflor jasmine scents, it's just not for my skin. Who loves jasmine should try him, however. I find the mimosa and lavender scents of the same series equally recommendable. (The rose in the series has not done it to me)

Cocoa without kick
Cocoa tempts me. This isn't a harsh cocoa, though. Rum and patchouli complement it fabulously. However, I miss a kick, something that adds a tart accent to this lush, cozy dessert scent. Not being a perfumer, I could hardly say what I'm missing here, but I do. I just like my cocoas unsweetened, strong and tart. This one is classy, but that too much sugar in it
