The all talked about poker face. Finally in my hands. Nice composition (I thought while reading the notes). I also was really excited to blind-buy this.
As soon as I unboxed it, the atomizor already smelled like a richer and fuller version of LNDL.
I was shocked. I have quickly sprayed it on paper and skin as well. In the opening, quite different.
In my case, a lot darker, a lot thicker and even boozy, creamy. Instant dissapointment.
I wasn't nowhere near impressed since it seemed to have many facets with multiple unsure directions.
After it settled down, divine. Spicy cardamom, creamy iris and sweet and delicious tonka bean.
In the drydown 90% LNDL edt.
Very enjoyable dna with good lasting power. 7-8 hours and decent projection. A lot better performance than newer batches of LNDL. This is competing with bleu electrique. Even though that one is more refined and better quality overall, poker face is a lot creamier, sweeter and got that spicier feeling that the old LNDL used to have. I can't wait for this to sit for a while and improve.
That iris addition is gorgeous. Also violet kicks in once in a while.
Colder days&nights when you want to smell great but not very loud.
More sexy than loud.
What else can I say ? Nothing else, besides POKER FACE ! (Exactly as I was after few full wearings).
You have to try it, especially of you love the dna of LNDL.
The prices are extremely low at times.

As many of you already know, this is strongly inspired by dior sauvage edt. A close interpretation of it. Same sharp and shower gel vibe, ambroxan heavy. Very good quality for the price and versatility it's very high. A good performer as well with noticeable projection. I think every situation will suit this one but be careful with the sprays and getting nose-blind to it. All seasons.
A nice one to have if you enjoy dior sauvage.

By the fireplace. So many wonderful memories this title can create. Very warm and cozy as you might imagine, sweet with a hint of smoke. Very well balanced overall and the quality is superior to many other fragrances. That chestnut accord is quite unique and we cannot compare this with swy intensely or absolutely as many would say. I'll pick this anytime over the other two.
Performance has been very nice in my case since the beginning.
At least 7-8 hours with a minimum of 2-3 sprays and also a decent projection. Not beastly though. Quite intoxicating at first but still pleasant.
Very suitable for a night out or a romantic scenario (either indoor or outdoor) and consider some colder/chilly nights to work its charm. This won't please everybody but it will always win against me. I love it.
As always, try it first.

Classy and refined. Only 2 of the words that can describe MI.
This is a well-balanced composition. Fresh-fruity, woody and marine like smell. A bit salty and melony. Extremely good for the summer time or warmer days/nights but I guess this may still be more than wearable for the colder days/nights too. I really appreciate the uniqueness and I can see this fitting a well deserved place as a signature scent. Also, to me this smells like money, like opulence and rich people. A true VIP can easily pull this off. It somehow suits the colour of the bottle very well. I now can see the similarities with CDN Milestone but the quality here it's on a whole other level. No doubts.
Performance is not half bad. I am getting around 7 hours with an average sillage. Cannot complain about that and I really enjoy the quality of this beauty.
Pure pleasure to wear such scent.
Fans of fruity/tropical/salty and marine vibes, don't miss this.

Orientica Xclusif Oud Bleu. Very excited about this one. Got it for a very good deal. The comparison with Pdm Layton is spot on. Pretty close and what I really enjoy about XO Bleu it's the quality. Outstanding. The second that you sprayed it, already smells refined and very well put together. No harshness, no bitterness, no artificial nor synthetic smell. Very high quality fragrance.
Opens up green and fresh at first ( very nice green apple vibe) and in the drydown the spices and vanilla kicks. I would simply love to feel Just a tiny bit more cardamom but aside that.. perfection. I haven't smelled any other Layton clones but I am sure that this one is one of the best (if not the best).
Great balance of freshness and sweetness and the overall blend is extraordinary.
Performance easily checked. 8+ hours with a good or very good sillage.
I would recommend this for nights out and not for casual use.
Also, pretty versatile but not for the highest heat.
Gorgeous bottle, heavy metallic cap and great atomizor. The green one from the same line looks absolutely gorgeous too.
Fans of Layton out there, don't miss this one. You gotta try it !
