The is already old but for me quite new.
Someone very dear had recommended him to me here.
I probably would not have tested him because the bottle is so simple. Yet I like it somehow now so really good, it looks valuable and simple, straightforward.
So when I last time (with ffp2 mask at 28 degrees) "cozy" stood in front of the perfume shelf and somehow everything once again smelled the same (so's me very often when testing in the store, unfortunately) he caught my eye and I remembered the recommendation.
I immediately found that he smelled quite different from everything previously tested and that he was really very suitable for the warm temperatures. A real fruit explosion. Watermelon, rhubarb, kiwi fruit salad comes to one first. I partially understand the associations with bodyspray etc. however for me it smells beautiful, high quality. Light, soft fruity, a little bit sweet, rather not sour on my skin.
In the course, the fruit explosion weakens a little and a slightly floral note comes in, a little clean musk evtl towards the end. I have read that some think of shower gel or shampoo in the fragrance and I also see something like that, in the best sense but. Clean and fresh despite all the fruit.
With a shelf life of 4-5 hours actually okay for the price and an EDT. On the clothes still the next day well perceptible.
As mentioned very well wearable in warm temperatures, but he also does well in cooler weather.
When I then found a super offer (about 30 euros / 100ml) I immediately struck and am very happy with it. A really great fragrance for little money. Everyday and somehow not so extraordinary actually, but still different than most others on the market at the moment. In my opinion for all ages from young to old. Definitely summer, but certainly wearable in the fall, maybe winter? We'll see. If you don't know this one yet you should definitely give it a try. :)

Do you know that, you smell something and all of a sudden it just seems totally familiar and familiar to you, but you just can not think of what it reminds you? So it went to me when I got a sample of this perfume, which you could now almost call a classic.

Once sprayed and wow, what a fragrance. First, a huge avalanche of orange blossom rolls over you. I like orange blossom (as in D&g the only one intense zb) but actually not sooo much.... But this one is somehow different... Creamy? Maybe it's because of the bitter orange that gives the orange blossom just a different touch.
Shortly thereafter, perhaps a little jasmine comes to it, but the orange blossom remains very present.
In the drydown, however, the vanilla comes out very clearly and maybe a little honey, here it reminds me very strongly of my familiar Kenzo amour.

The shelf life is here unfortunately not so outstanding maybe around the 3 hours, then you have to already directly with the nose to the wrist to be able to perceive him still.
I've read several times that the older versions lasted much longer and also have a little more lush scent. I can imagine it in about, maybe it is also the old version I once smelled. And maybe I come one day times in the pleasure once again the one older version to get hold of.

Funnily enough, everyone thinks this is a winter scent. For me, it smells like summer, sun, hot skin. I don't know why, but that's the memory it evokes in me.
Maybe I smelled it once on vacation? And did not dare to ask? Or did a person I knew wear it?
It's just really beautiful to me, familiar, like an old friend.


I would also love to meet the Flanker Cashmere and Satin, unfortunately I am too late for this. Maybe one day I'll get lucky.

The other day came once again a few samples reingeflattert. Once Acqua di Gio pour Homme which you already know and this brand new Terra di Gioia. I have with the Gioia series no greater experience, a few years ago as Sky du Gioia came out I had once received samples with Sky and Aqua di Gioia and only know that I found sky totally trivial but acqua quite interesting, I played with the thought to buy this but somehow I did it then but never

So I didn't expect too much when I tested Terra but I was still curious. But mhhh.. What is this? That smells great. Love at first smell. It smells like almond but not too sweet, summery but this one would go even in winter. Kind of pleasing but not boring.
You know but certainly these people on the street run past you and just naturally smell good without really smelling like perfume. Exactly so I feel this beautiful fragrance.
Almonds, a few florals, a little amber in the drydown. (a little sunscreen and warm skin?)
It sounds trivial, but test it!
I was looking for just such a fragrance, finally I found it and it moved in with me immediately.
This fragrance is rather close to the body and lasts moderately long, maybe 4-5 hours and while I wear it just comes every now and then a fragrance breeze past my nose, envelops you like a gentle veil.
A fragrance for every day that is actually simple and yet so special. Great recommendation from me

When I recently ordered another fragrance there was a sample of A Drop d'Issey. Issey Miyake, I've heard before, but had no association to it.
Casually I put the sample aside, had no great expectations.
A little later, the sample came back to my mind. First sprayed carefully on the packaging. Hm what is that - without having looked before for the fragrance notes I smell at once almonds and something creamy, apparently the almond milk.
Test passed, the may on the skin.
Immediately afterwards comes already the lilac to it and that was it actually already. So the scent remains in about 4-5 hours on the skin without changing much.
What a surprise, I'm shock in love, although I'm generally not too big a fan of purely floral fragrances, this one is just really nice.
Crap, again a fragrance that I MUST buy. This one will just always go, summer or winter, morning to night. He just radiates cleanliness and freshness. Also, the associations with sunscreen and Bügekdampf here I can fully subscribe.
All too many opportunities to wear it I had at the moment not yet but I think that he remains rather something close to the body. I also can not imagine that anyone could feel bothered by this fragrance.
On the other hand, I also do not consider him TOO pleasing and by no means is it one like all the others.
Who is looking for a fragrance that not everyone has and looking for something for the coming season should give this a chance, even if you are maybe not such a fan of floral fragrances, like me :)

As mentioned in the statement, this was my first "real" (expensive) fragrance after NoNames and Puma as a teenager. 2009, I was 16 and had a sample of this fragrance in my advent calendar. Wow, that was love at first smell. Rice steam, cherry blossom, frangipani enveloped me along with the most beautiful cozy vanilla. (At the time, I guess it was just wow - no idea what for, but it just smells insane).
It turned out my best friend wore this fragrance too, I never got the idea to ask her about her perfume though.
My precious sample was squeezed to the last drop.
At that time for me sinfully expensive I wanted him for Christmas, got him after some detours also (that would be too far out) and was for the 1st time in the 7th fragrance heaven. I wore it every day, well dosed, summer and winter. Although he is probably more of an autumn / winter fragrance. But he was simply my signature scent.
For many years, this beautiful fragrance was my daily companion and even a 100ml bottle was emptied next to the 30ml bottle, which has not happened since then with any fragrance.
I can still remember that at that time we always went to the perfume stores to fog us with our Kenzo Amour to save up our sacred supplies at home. At that time he stood on the shelf at eye level, that everyone sees him, advertised large and all his flankers (what regret I never got me one of them, now they are all discontinued. If only they hadn't been so unattainably expensive). At that time there were the Falkons still in 3 different colors: pink, orange and white.

Today he is now on the lowest floor on the shelf in the perfumery, in the last corner, is no longer noticed. He seems to have somehow become old, as I also already sometimes feel. Yet he is in no way outdated or old. It is a warm, cozy, beautiful fragrance that seems to have been sadly forgotten. You do not smell him on every corner, that could be the advantage of it.
Therefore, I want to advise you, besides all the "hip" la vie est belle etc, if you don't know this one yet, give it a chance and take a sniff.
He impresses in my opinion also with an almost endless durability, especially on the clothes on which he is still noticeable even after washing. Also, he has no great scent progression, he always remains the same beautiful.

For me, he will always remain what special, even if I no longer wear it so often because the selection has simply become larger. He is for me simply one of the most beautiful, cuddly scents and as long as there is him I will always have a bottle here.

Addendum: not that it comes here still to misunderstandings or in the end still someone is disappointed, my reviews refers to the vintage version of 2010, as I have heard the current version probably no longer has such enormous durability. Which is a pity.
And do not be surprised, the bottles are opaque but if you times with the flashlight on it shines these are ex works only 3/4 filled. Such a cheat pack
