Legendary Fragrance “Libre” by Yves Saint Laurent Reinterpreted

The imposing new release of the French luxury label Yves Saint Laurent "Libre Le Parfum" is a warm, spicy-floral fragrance for women with new intensity.

The fiery creation of Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm embodies freedom and luxury in the person of a strong, confident, charismatic woman.

The fire ignites an explosion of warm and spicy chords of saffron, ginger, bergamot and tangerine, which make the heart of the creation, the sensual scents of noble orange blossom and cool lavender glow. Finally, an opulent base note of fine bourbon vanilla, honey, tonka bean and vetiver ignites.

The fragrance's exclusivity comes not only from the artful combination of the individual components, but begins with their creation. For example, the orange blossom is harvested by hand in its Moroccan growing region. The distinctive lavender scent is conjured up by the Diva Lavender variety, which is grown especially for Yves Saint Laurent in France and also harvested by hand. Both the lavender and the vanilla, another premium extract, are sourced sustainably. The rich aroma of the vanilla pod, freshly ripened in Madagascar, is also extracted through the state-of-the-art Junge Essence™ extraction technology, also exclusive to the House of Yves Saint Laurent
