“Musc Oli” - New Perfume Release by Caron as a Collaboration Between Olivia de Rothschild and Jean Jacques

French luxury perfume brand Caron has announced the release of its new fragrance "Musc Oli". The perfume was unveiled at a press conference in Paris in mid-October and is scheduled to be available from January 2023.

The fragrance

"Musc Oli" is the result of a collaboration between Olivia de Rothschild and Jean Jacques, perfumer at Caron. The aim of the two was to create an original, luxurious and refreshing fragrance, highlighting musky notes and in keeping with the youthful image of Olivia de Rothschild. The name of the perfume was chosen in reference to the main fragrance and as a diminishment of Olivia's name.

The new creation is described as a harmony of woody musk notes containing Cashmeran and Javanol, two of the most beautiful ingredients in synthetic perfumery. Jean Jacques explains that the perfume has the ability to connect people with their deepest selves and evoke feelings of inner peace and serenity.

The bottle

The fragrance is presented in a refillable and stackable spray bottle from La Collection Merveilleuse, designed by Olivia de Rothschild. The box, in the shape of an elongated burgundy caron, is decorated with a pattern inspired by Chinese abstract art and features hot stamping and a silver holographic label. The opalescent hue of the perfume gives it a moon-like aura, meant to reflect the richness and intensity of our inner worlds.

3D artist Hugo Fournier has created a visual world to the fragrance with pink and purple tones and symbols such as caves and water, which reflect the image of the fragrance and the inner journey it evokes.

The perfume is available in 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml bottles and can be refilled with a refill bottle (100 ml).
