creamy soft coffee scent
In the video for this fragrance, Ashton Kirkland from the YouTube channel "Gents Scents" describes his intention as creative director like this: He wanted a coffee scent that neither attacks with strong dark, black, roasted aroma nor a sweet capuccino scent. His goal, instead, to create the impression of a creamy, soft coffee scent, has succeeded brilliantly.
With Sidonie Lancesseur, he has a perfumer who knows a lot about coffee and spirits. But her Black Phantom is just powerfully dark and black and therefore hardly comparable.

The fragrance opens with a wonderfully creamy soft coffee note. Licorice occurs here as a support and actually emphasizes the aroma. The almond supports the creaminess, the sugar gives a pleasant light sweetness.

Also in the further course of the fragrance remains primarily a soft, creamy coffee scent with only subtle sweetness, but the coffee loses some of its radiation. The cognac enters and accompanies the coffee as a slightly alcoholic note.
The creaminess is supported in the base by the vanilla. The vanilla remains but inconspicuous as an independent note. Also the aforementioned woods (papyrus and cedar) serve rather to support, to give structure.

The coffee is not powerfully black throughout the fragrance, nor is it sweet. It rather emphasizes the creamy, brown only slightly sweetened coffee. Especially the opening is really great and inviting, as if you have a fragrant cappuccino in front of you.

The shortcoming of the fragrance is unfortunately a rather mediocre performance.
The projection becomes weaker and weaker and holds back already after 1h clearly. As a rather skin close fragrance, it lasts between 5 and 6 hours

Dry sour apple-tobacco scent
The Youtuber Ashton Kirkland from the channel "Gents Scents" is the creative director of the currently available seven fragrances of Galleria Perfumes. According to his own statement, he wanted to create a tobacco fragrance with this perfume, which moves away from the fruity-sweet mainstream tobacco fragrances. I actually perceive this fragrance to be quite unique.

It opens very tangy fresh with the apple, which will remain dominant over the entire course of the fragrance next to the tobacco and rather sour, rather than sweet radiates. Mixed is the apple with a dry alcoholic gin tonic juniper note. The spicy notes support the quite strong säuerlich-dry opening.

Relatively quickly then appears with the tobacco the second dominant note of the fragrance. The sour apple and tobacco remain clearly present throughout the further course of the fragrance. The tangy top notes are now caught by the woods of the heart notes, which give the whole together with the slightly earthy patchouli some depth.

The notes in the base then form a slightly softer ground. However, the fragrance is never sweet, never velvety, but remains rather tart and dry, perhaps even a little aggressive.

The main role plays, as already said above, the Tabak-Apfel-Kombinantion. Overall, an interesting, for me quite unusual fragrance off the mainstream paths. For me, however, he is a little too tart and sour

spicy lavender with powdery iris on warm musk
Musk Lave is the second fragrance in the new collection that I ordered blindly. Unfortunately the sprayer is defective. I can only pump the liquid directly onto the skin. But at least something comes out. After the first application I was a bit sceptical if I will like it. But in the meantime I'm really very fond of it.

Musk Lave opens with spicy lavender. The musk appears as a warm cloud, which plays only very discreetly in the background. The bergamot is initially perceived as a sour rather than a fresh note and reminds me of the bergamot in Earl Grey.
The iris is now increasingly playing to the fore as a dry and powdery note, accompanied by the spiciness and light sweetness of lavender. In fact, fruity notes of osmanthus also appear again and again. According to Russian Adam, lavender should also exude fruity notes.
The musk stays in the background the whole time, but spreads a warm cloud of well-being as already written above. The animalism is there, but only if you really look for it.
Sandalwood and labdanum appear to me as warm notes only distant in the background, but contribute a certain sweetness.

What I really like about Musk Lave is this combination of spicy lavender, powdery iris and warming musk. This combination dominates the fragrance the whole process. It remains interesting because of the different nuances of spiciness that can be perceived.

The Sillage is rather moderate and unobtrusive. The shelf life is good, but not until the next day

Spicy violet on warm notes
The fragrance is one of two blind orders in this year's collection of Areej le Doré. I've been wearing the fragrance for three days now and I'm satisfied, but not thrilled.
The fragrance opens with a chocolaty coffee note, but dry, not sweet, with a strong mixture of green-spicy notes, distinct roasted aromas, very light dark smoke (guaiac wood) and an ozone-like violet in the background. At this point the fragrance is interesting, individual components are beautiful, but overall somehow bulky.
After an hour the fragrance has settled, it becomes calmer and develops into a distinct violet scent. The violet continues to be accompanied by spicy notes.
After 2 hours the spicy violet still dominates. But now warmer notes such as amber, tonka and the resinous notes are also becoming clearer. This is how the fragrance finally fades away: spicy violet on warm notes. The Sillage is rather moderate, but in the immediate vicinity it probably spreads an interesting skin scent. During hugs or close collaboration in the project, it wasn't identified as a perfume, but noticed and liked.
The durability is very good. On the skin very tasty the next day.

Conclusion: I like Agar de Noir quite well. However, I would have liked a little more power from the dark notes. Especially oud stays very discreet in the background. I am also a bit disappointed with the Sillage.

Scent - where are you?
I can't complain, I've been warned several times. But if you won't listen...

I would like to tell you my story with this fragrance, you will find my scent impressions at the bottom

My first contact with the new Homme took place in the Pafumerie. "Here, try this scent, brand new." Okay, I don't smell anything (Warning #1). Well, spray it on anyway. On the way home, it smelled resinous-woody-fresh from time to time, then again nothing (warning no. 2). But it still seemed to me as if I had found my perfect forest scent. A few days later I bought this scent in the above mentioned Pafumerie.
I was pleased to wear it the next day. But I was very disappointed that it evaporated so quickly (warning no. 3).
The following day I had arranged to go for a dog walk with a friend. I joyfully put on this scent again. This time with a few sprayers more, seemed to be a little too little the day before. And because it was a cold day and I had buried myself thickly in a coat, there were also two sprayers on the coat
We got the dog, we got the car. When I got to the meeting point, my girlfriend was waiting and stopped me. After I turned the window down, she took a step back. "Phew, you're all fogged in." I have to admit I was a little surprised. I didn't smell... anything. During the walk, she kept pulling her nose: "You couldn't get enough, could you?" A little cloud would come my way from time to time. But mostly there was just ... nothing
The next morning I trotted into the bathroom still tired and groped across my hallway. Whoa, what's going on here. A pungent resinous smell had spread here. Hectically I grabbed the coat, which I immediately put in the washing machine. In the bathroom I experienced the same fate. The clothes from yesterday also quickly went into the machine. Detergent in, machine on - breathe deeply.

Well, what can I say. Actually I still like the scent, but I just can't smell it, at least it disappears after 10 seconds and then reappears for a moment. That's why he also wanders into the souk.

The smell:
Beginning: somewhat tingling, resinous, citric (bergamot), fresh (pepper). The cedar gives the fragrance its somewhat pungent resinous character. The tingling, pungent resinous character is certainly supported to a large extent by the iso-E-super, which is supposed to be contained here and can explain that I perceive the fragrance so little. My nose then simply switches off rather quickly.
The vetiver will certainly strengthen the forest association and musk will simply be supportive.
I can't make out a scent gradient. It loses some of its obtrusiveness in the end and the lemon, but the scent remains largely the same. (Statement is of course to be understood against the background that I perceive the scent only now and then)
