Delicious
It doesn't have any dated look, being a fragrance that could have been launched today because it's super modern.

I met it by sample, the current version, and fell in love right away. This is that kind of perfume we know that we have to have an entire bottle.

I see constant criticisms about the fixation of the latest version compared to the older version, but I have absolutely no complaints, quite the contrary, I find it a bombastic scent that lasts all day on the skin. It has everything: great fixation and silage.

As for the aroma, which is what really matters, it is sweet, with that warm and creamy touch of cappuccino with a touch of coffee and lavender, cedar and vanilla. Extremely aphrodisiac and attractive.

This makes it unisex, despite having been released for men, because it really becomes unbeatable in male skin, seductive in the extreme. It's impossible not to notice a man with this perfume.

The impression that gives me is of being a niche perfume. It's a Rochas, and this is far from being a niche, but I'm sure that if this same fragrance were launched in the line of Tom Ford, it would be no less than a Tobacco Vanille, it would be a rage just as this perfume is, people killing each other and paying obscene amounts for it.

I recommend it without hesitation.

Wood of lovers
Spicy, strong, woody top, has a sweeter side like beeswax. All this experience with a sour base that reinforces the spicy side. All notes bring a warmer vibe to the perfume, the sweetness of the bottom fades quickly. With its evolution in a powdery touch it gains prominence but it is also fast until only the sandalwood remains.

Sandalwood takes a while to be present, but it is being 'discovered' by the other notes. Soon it is characterized as a perfume that contains a very pulsating exit, a body with several facets but quick until the sandalwood remains.

They say that those who are in love can smell sandalwood being exhaled from the person they love. Therefore, it is known as the wood of lovers. Sandalwood combined with the tang of cardamom.

For me, it's clearly the perfume that comes closest to Le Labo's Santal 33. This is a marvel I was lucky enough to buy before it was discontinued.

It's wonderful! Sweet, fruity, vanilla, warm, clean...
This is not a review from a perfume expert, I'm just an enthusiast who wants to help.

It is very characteristic and very strong, just like the name. If you are looking for a perfume to use in clubs, a date, bar and similar, it works excellently. Made for night use, mild temperature, cold or even a hot night as long as you don't abuse it with your finger in the sprayer.

Sexy, sensual, alpha male, attractive, a masculine scent (I don't see a woman wearing this perfume). That's how it is... Wherever you go, people will ask where and who this smell comes from, it draws praise for being striking and it is to be considered that it is your signature. You will definitely rock wherever you are if that's your intention.

Be careful when spraying, the name is not for nothing! Depending on where you are, it can suffocate everyone around you.

The projection lasts an average of one hour to two hours. Fixation lasts an average of four to five hours.

Of course, if you eat well, if you hydrate yourself, you will have a considerable improvement in performance (not forgetting your skin type as well).

Ah, it's pretty cheap for what it offers. It has some similarities (not a clone) to Stronger With You.

Dark Horse
After reading so many wonderful reviews about this perfume, even though some of them are in a negative tone, I see an enormous wealth of details and sensations that this fragrance awakens in people and, consequently, the detailed descriptions of the reviews are extended.

Sometimes even a negative description can instigate a desire to taste and have a certain scent. And that's what occurred to me!

I decided to incorporate a character with a "dark", melancholic, gothic and mysterious facet to dive into this perfume and draw my conclusions.

After reading several reviews that related this perfume to something dark, I decided that this olfactory experience could only lead me to paths I had never walked before.

When spraying this perfume, the aldehydes together with basil and galbanum give it a green, bitter, pungent air, which I notice a slightly "chemical" tone, which perhaps makes many people abhor this long perfume when they feel this exit. But I also feel a light sweet and spicy touch that breaks a little of the harshness of the starting notes. The lavender here is wild, aromatic, but with a vibe of industrialized lavender in the form of some disinfectant product, not that the perfume itself feels like a cleaning product, but this opening is like opening a heavy, dark door, that squeaks as you pull it. This is Oscar pour Lui's welcome.

After a couple of minutes this unfriendly opening reveals another denser phase, and this is where the magic of this perfume happens. Walk around a forest in mid-autumn, leaves fallen to the ground, a cold night, thick fog and a mysterious aroma of woods and leaves being swept by a mysterious breeze.

After a few minutes, the middle notes take over the aroma, pulling a little of the base notes with them, at this stage I feel a musky, dense and somewhat "dusty" floral touch, as if they picked up some flowers still without blooming and slowly their petals lost the liveliness and smell of the fullness of your existence. This gloomy floral carries with it a woody feel that resembles rustic furniture made with some hardwood. Cinnamon is notable, giving it a spicy, dry and slightly sweet air, very slightly. And along with this profusion of notes, the leather and moss notes stand out, giving all the strength and personality of this perfume. The leather in this perfume escapes the feeling of polished and polished leather so common in contemporary fragrances, this is a leather that reminds me of an old shoe shop, where the leather still had an animalic and acrid smell, as well as the moss that mixes with the leather leaving it with a dense, greenish and woody aroma, something almost "botanical".

Wonderful descriptions have already been drawn about the dark character of this fragrance, but to contribute from another perspective to this imagery, I cite some other fictional or real characters who would delight in using such essence, such as the villain Hannibal Lecter, Colonel Hans Landa of movie Inglourious Bastards, the psychoanalyst physician Sigmund Freud or Michael Corleone of the Godfather.

I also see a scene where men are in a club, playing and drinking, dressed in pinstripe suits, smoking cigars, sitting on leather armchairs listening to Blues or Jazz.

Having and using the Oscar Pour Lui is an act of resistance, a breath that embodies the antithesis of everything that is launched and desired today.

Damn, what a good perfume!
Honestly, it's worth a lot more than it costs, despite being currently one of the leaders in detachment in perfume groups. If I were given a blind try, I think I would give it a value over €70 (attention, I only paid €25 per 100ml).

It has a very nice balance between woods, resins and the rum accord. In fact, this rum is present throughout the evolution of Bentley, which opens with a fluted bergamot. I also feel a mixture of pepper and bay leaves.

Then it becomes more and more resinous, with a very interesting incense supported by cedar and sandalwood. These woods are even a little spicy, which is due to the black pepper. Here, too, it becomes even more resinous, smoky, with a very elegant leather.

Towards the end, a domesticated patchouli, together with a very well blended sandalwood, combined with a more present cedar, complete, together with laudanum, this beautiful fragrance.

This perfume sets you apart from the rest, as it exudes class! It has niche quality and seems more suitable for night events between cool and mild climates. The performance is really good, projecting for 4/5h and with a longevity of at least 10/12h (all this for the price I indicated above).

Look no further, grab yours now!
