Maya Bee....
Maya the Bee and Willi have consumed too much corn poppy.
They lie With wide open eyes on the corn poppy meadow and are psychedelic powerful on the road....
On their trip their meadow looks so different...they fly from one bright beautiful flower to the next...wallowing in sweet pollen.
Flying on to fruits and sipping most delicious fruit nectar.
Blotted by pollen and fruit nectar, they take a nap on scented woods.
Some colorful, snorting oxen pass by.
After quite a few hours, our little bees have returned to the here and now and continue humming happily.
......
LOVE is a complex Roja masterpiece, which probably deserved a poetic review on a very high level...
So sorry... am not in the mood

Liquid gold...
That's what I called this Roja when I saw the price of it in the souk.
To the color of the noble elixir the name would fit quite.
So first of all nice and good the Scheinchen (with coins is there nothing to want....) held together.

Yes and behold, the wait was worth it, yesterday I was allowed to test this treasure at my dear Parfumo friend.

Diaghilev starts short and fierce with a citrusy note. After that, it becomes almost magical.
I can't make out a single scent note anymore and feel like a muggle who gets to look into Professor Snape's big bubbling cauldron of witches...no idea what's bubbling but it smells great....
However, I can say this much, it smells absolutely nothing like chypre until then.
I estimate the time at the witches cauldron to be about half an hour...then it's off into the woods. And there it is.
The Godfather of Chypre (I know, almost presumptuous if you can still count the tested chypres on both hands).
More sophisticated than the Bandit, more authoritative than the Scherrer, more spirited than Lubin's Eva or Guerlain's Mitsouko.

The sillage and longevity are as masterful as the fragrance itself.

Quite great cinema for Chypre lovers*innen.

Simply beautiful
Beautiful is what pleases - no matter if mainstream or from the fragrance industry - I find it beautiful. Not every fragrance must be multifaceted, extraordinary or anything else.
The so-called original of Audrey Hepburn was perhaps so, but unfortunately I have never met.
This one is just beautiful. Can't split it. Fresh, floral. Period. It fills me with a comforting feeling.
Scent progression linear. Holds on my skin with 2 sprays on the wrist about 5 hrs.
Sillage I can not say anything so far, had no contact with the outside world today ;)

Beautiful Chypre
Eva walks barefoot with the first warm rays of sun through the lemon grove. The air is filled with the scent of the green fruits. Her path leads her a short distance through an old stand of trees with gnarled roots and her bare feet sink into the soft mossy forest floor. At the end of the path her siblings Jean-Louis and Mitsouko are already waiting.

I find no moss in the pyramid but my nose insists...beautiful spring/summer scent without any sweetness. Develops a bit creamy/soapy but in a very pleasant way. For me a chypre because it has partial similarities with Jean-Louis Scherrer and Guerlain Mitsouko.

H/S I must still wait and complement.

Nothing for diabetics
If this fragrance affected blood sugar levels, it would definitely only be available at pharmacies and would be unsuitable for diabetics.

One (!!!) spray was enough...
A sugary sweet cloud or roller brings my olfactory cells to their breaking point.
I first try my wrist a while not to lead in the direction of the nose, which is not easy because I am lured by this strong smell (probably like gaffers at nem accident). After a short time, the sweetness is vanilla, a violent hanky-panky between butter cookies and popcorn, enormously what the two have for a stamina....after about 5 hours, the liaison seems to have found its climax and the fragrance takes a break to catch its breath.
It is now gently reminiscent of Baccarat Rouge. As potent as this perfume comes along, the recovery time is of course short-lived, after which comes an omnipresent vanilla which, once it has taken its place, does not budge an inch.....

I applied the one spray in the afternoon and went to bed around 11pm. The vanilla on my skin was still so strong that I had to tuck my arm under my pillow to smother this scent. Fortunately, I'm one of those people who falls asleep after a few seconds of head on pillow, otherwise I definitely would have gotten up again to scrub the vanilla off with the exfoliating sponge.
