....Her best years are long gone, the make up applied in several layers, creeping around the eyes and the once full lips in deep wrinkles. Traces of a life with too little sleep, too much alcohol, too much tobacco and disappointments.
Garish colors on lips, eyes and nails. Too tight and too low cut, her top stretches across her bosom and belly.
Her scent overpowers everything. A powerful cloud of spices, resins, flowers and patchouli surrounds her and she asks you, "well sweetie, what'll it be?"
Her bar is her life.

....For two days he had been wandering through this seemingly endless desert without food or drink. Sand as far as the eye could see. No plant, no stone, only sand-dry, hot sand. Dry as his eyes, dry as his throat.
Hour by hour he grew weaker, and could only advance stumbling and tumbling in his search for water and life.
Having reached the end of his strength, crawling on all fours through the sand, he thought he saw an oasis some distance away.
Driven by thirst and the prospect of life-saving water, he crawled towards his destination and lost consciousness.
An intense sweet scent penetrated his core and brought him back to consciousness.
He found himself again in a world of bright colors and beguiling scents.
Besides huge green bergamots, lemons, oranges and limes as he knew them from his native Italy ,there were other plump colorful fruits unknown to him.
In between grew plants with long green pods and beautiful white and yellow flowers. The aromas of all these splendid plants and other smells unknown to him combined to form a perfect, harmonious, intoxicating, euphoric scent.
He wondered if he had arrived in an oasis or in heaven.

What multi-faceted fragrance...
Immediately after spraying it comes almost citrusy to change immediately in a fruit bomb.
Again a little later come floral chords and when the composition has fully unfolded, it is hardly distinguishable from the 540.

This morning even before the first coffee: Ahhh the fragrance mail from yesterday, equal times the new treasure test...


Already when opening the envelope greeted me this fragrance.
The atomizer was very well wrapped in bubble wrap and around the spray head still stuck a layer of tape.

But that could not stop the Dolce Amalfi....

I didn't spray it, just took it out of the foil and removed tape...

Despite washing my hands several times, my fingers still smell of it...every time my fingers come towards my face it is there...

Sweet, heavy, spicy, vanilla
Described in the top note with quince and apple, but I can not perceive.

A very nice fragrance, rather for the evening, with (at least on my fingers) excellent durability.

My first blind buy.
Read many comments etc and curiosity was piqued...

Now it's here and it took me a few tries on different days to classify it for me and I'm still not quite sure if it's a good fit for me.

This scent is absolutely stunning, so anything but mainstream....
Spicy-tart-mossy-earthy.

Strong, confident, firm, straightforward, purposeful.

Applied in the early morning only 2 sprays on the décolleté and forearm, it lasts until the evening. Changes minimally, only becomes weaker, a little softer perhaps a little soapy.

An ideal carrier would be for me Gillian Anderson in her role as Stella Gibson.
