Dark chocolate mousse with toothpaste topping
Cara, is that really you?!?
Heard you are supposed to be ne quite sweet and playful, you actually sounded quite pretty...
Now we have met in person and I must say;
i thought I was looking at a dark tart chocolate dessert with liqueur.
Unsweet almonds, generally no sweetness, rather tart.
A little glass of Baileys maybe...
Vanilla I smell to 0%
An unexpected start, but it comes even stranger.
It follows a bright dentist smell, which one yes now and then with gourmandig angehauchten fragrances times auflauert, mild toothpaste / peppermint chewing gum, any even vague gourmandnote completely disappeared.
Almost airy the fragrance seems now, like the cool freshness in the mouth after brushing your teeth.
Really quite strange...

It remains with a tart musty after-eight chocolate, vanilla I have to think of it, I guess
roasted almonds without sugar with nothing worth mentioning powder note somewhere in the background, which might be responsible for that mustiness that resonates.
For me, no further development results on the skin, quite one-dimensional and weak it smells for me, at the very end with last power a touch of sweetness.
And I had feared in advance, he might be too sweet foody for me...

So I am irritated.
Fragrance pyramid and associative description of others can not align with my scent sensation, unfortunately not even close...

The queen of powder fragrances or a more staid rose after all?
So now and then comes over me the desire to go in search of the perfect for me powder fragrance and I let me via mail from an employee of love for fragrance spontaneously powder fragrances from the range recommended, and I got a few hours a friendly mail back with, among other things, the following recommendations;
"Teint de Neige", of course; I was no longer sure if I had already tested that one before;
"Pure eVe- Just Pure" by The Different Company;
"Néh?!" by Zeromolecole;
"Citizen Queen" by Jhag and "Powder Flowers" by Montale (I had tested the last two once and they weren't mine).
So I ordered from ALzD and Essenza Nobile, depending on what was in stock where, some bottlings with these and other fragrances and was very curious to test (ALzD shipped already after 2 business days, so I didn't have to wait too long).

In the prelude makes directly a strong powder rose on itself attentive, very feminine, partly a little sharp, then I mean to perceive a slight almond note, without degenerating too marzipan-heavy.
My spontaneous imagination is a bathroom, then a wellness spa.
I smell a ladylike body cream smell, no baby powder, no dry cosmetic powder (at least not consistently), for my nose rather cream instead of powder at first, with powder and cream notes alternating and seeming to flow into each other.
As it progresses, it softens and reminds me of the powder version of Keiko Mecheri's Loukhoum back in the day, but not quite as sweet, yet just like the powder Loukhoum, I find the rose to be quite dominant, and you have to like a well-behaved rose to be able to smell Teint de Neige.

Teint de Neige develops lovely and flattering, free of too plump sweetness,
in the approaching drydown, however, I am somewhat startled;
all I smell is toilet spray, pungent rose soap.
I have to think of the then old-fashioned tiled bathroom of my grandmother, I feel the fragrance then as old-fashioned and one-dimensional penetrating.
Although the fragrance again tries to nachzupudern, I smell with Teint de Neige unfortunately generally
too much bathroom rose out.

"Life is beautiful" or "Life is a blast" ...
... whether in the positive or in the negative sense can only judge everyone for themselves.
The prelude is no surprise, it jumps a sugared berries like corn in the pan against, a standard with many playful ladies perfumes, but it also resonates directly something smoky.
The sticky sweetness seems to creep when sniffing directly to the throat, and since I'm not a friend of berry fruitiness, the heart note slays me unpleasantly (but that is of course a matter of taste); I mean to recognize directly a kindred spirit to "Mon Paris" Yves Saint Laurent, very pink, very effervescent, very fruity, but somehow also special-be-wanting.
It follows powdery fruitiness, the iris gives everything (which I find positive), but there is of course still a lot of jam (by now it is orange marmalade) sticks in the scent mush,
and "stormy trickles the sugar" that it tickles the nose like Ahoy sherbet in the mouth.
Henceforth, one waits for the redeeming soft smoky vanilla, which softens the sugary fruit salad and finally expels.

There is to my sensation hardly a fragrance with such a recognition value, cheap it does not smell, rarely I found a fragrance but also so penetrating.
Especially on other people I do not like the perfume at all (often it is yes the other way around, you like to sniff many things rather on others and can not stand it on yourself),
but here I find, a spritz on your own neck is sometimes ok, you perceive your own perfume yes not so extreme, but I feel him, with me as on others, always rather as a disguise and never coherent and really advantageous.
Based on one person who wore it frequently at work, I perceive the scent as oddly stale but would-be youthful, somehow wistful and forlorn ala "Oh, everything was nicer when I was in my early 20s!"

So, now the question remains whether I own/ owned this perfume or just tested it:
and, you can hardly believe it, but I still have it in the closet, and indeed the 75ml bottle, if already, then already :D
It happened that I stranded years ago with my mother in the perfumery in front of the shelf with this perfume, he was new, he was hyped, I thought then still, something like that could please me well and fit me.
Once sprayed on, my mother: "Yes, why not, if you like it, he is not bad now..." (She herself doesn't wear anything sweet, only very powdery, woody or fresh-floral scents)
Their motto is anyway, if you buy a fragrance, then the larger bottle is worth it, so it was directly clear that it will be 75ml.
Well, so often I have not worn it then, sometimes in winter and autumn, but low doses, because it is just spacey.
I have then quite soon tried to turn on an acquaintance something of the perfume, the sweet Gormanddüfte very much like, but the also still had a full cup of it at home, which did not want to be emptied.

All in all, a massive fragrance that you have to like, if then but please use only a spritzchen before you get tired of him too quickly.

For late summer, autumn, winter, ah, thoughtfully dosed actually for every occasion :)
The summer does not want to go yet finally and wrestles with the autumn, which announces itself already with all its spiciness, the air is still warm and still the flowers remain steadfast, although the first leaves already fall;
an intermediate stage, metamorphosis, indecisive-ambivalent, which this fragrance represents for my sensation.
The opening is herbaceous-spicy like a thick, creamy white salve, clean and heavy-smelling.
Then the red silky thread that makes up the entire fragrance creeps in, it becomes lighter and more powdery.
A very slight underlying sweet acidity blends in, something earthy, probably the chestnut. In any case, interesting, it attracts the olfactory attention.
Then first not much happens, but I think fragrances can also be straightforward, it does not always need a thriller with many twists ;)
Sometimes you just need poetry, the expression of a melancholic, dreamy or mysterious mood.
Eventually the fragrance becomes woody, delicate light woods with a soft, spicy powdery vanilla that doesn't contain any gourmand sweetness.

I found the perfume directly interesting from the scent notes years ago: creamy, slightly spicy and very slightly sweet towards the end, powdery, no fruits, feminine without wanting to please in a chummy way, special but not overbearing or crazy.
Smells it on the wrist for my nose though rather quiet, others around me perceive him well, however, and I got some compliments on this fragrance.
For me, a fragrance that wanted to become one with my skin instead of annoying like a foreign body or a mask.
