First impression - I would bet it is Musk oil by Al Haramain if I didn't know. It starts as sharp, sweet musky geranium/ rose. Very beginning is sweeter , then turns sharp. I new it reminds me of something very inexpensive I tried. Yes ,little Musk oil by Al Haramain. As the time passes it is becoming more refined, subtle, more musky and clean. It lingers for over 12 hours on my skin , very comforting, slightly powdery and gorgeous. The cheap sharpness is long gone. This.is how it smells to me.

Rose wood to my nose smells like more refined and good quality blend called.Golden Dust. Its very popular within middle east perfume lovers. It is slightly more intense and better quality vanilla and gentle oud. It is nothing unusual but very pleasing and versatile.

This oil is a masterpiece. I am a collector of white musk and this one is the best I came across. Most of arabian white musks are very sticky on the skin, this one is not much. As for the fragrance itself its a clean fluffy innocence. It starts as white luxurious floral soap,as time passes start to become more powdery sweet , but not over sweet. I really don't know how its achieved but it smells like skin that was just washed in triple milled white luxurious soap scented of Chanel 5 . I believe I am hooked on this fragrance for ever. As someone who already uses Chanel 5 I found excellent layering companion to it .

Junoon is a very nice quality basic floral powder. Smells just like expensive cosmetic powder with rose, vanilla ,a bit of tonka and other floral . It is not fiolets powder, it is dry ,slightly sweet fresh powder. It reminds me a bit a Royal white musk and as I own Body musk oil by Al Faransi I layer it. I often use as a base Nivea body cream (blue pod) ,than I swipe some Body musk and spray 2 pumps of Junoon. At the end I swipe tiny bit of dehnal oud muattaq deep down my decolletage . After about one hour I come up with beautiful powdery floral woody scent that last all day. I highly recommend this frag to people who are not afraid to experiment with the scent .

For my whole live I disliked this fragrance. I could not understand how anyone could weare it. As I turned 40 and accidentally sprayed eau de perfume I was suddenly hooked. I could smell beautiful clean white soap . Very classy, very clean .Suddenly aldehydes so disliked before became a selling point of this fragrance. Since then I can't live without it. I tried pure perfume version and eau de perfume. Perfume is less aldehydic ,more rosy/ neroli powder.My favourite is strongly eau de perfume. Its a great shame that after 2011 reformulation is extremely short lasting and more flat. It lacks something present in older versions . If you could get a well preserved vintage one you are in the game. Its not your crowd pleaser , you have to understand the idea behind it. The trick is to get a bottle kept in dark and right temperature as this particular scent get spoiled easly.I think that's why so many people hate it as they probably tried a spoiled one. Keep trying.
