I know Simone is no hero when it comes to copying other brands work. His Malibu is one of the most praised Creed workovers, and I enjoy it too, almost through my bottle of it. But this, this is not good.

As is if two different people were making the collection of Andreoli. Straight from the top you get messy alone battling mastic accord. There is zero juniper there and plenty Iso E and that popular Gaiac wood synthetic accord. Nowhere near well blended either. I am in shock and just repulsed by the pricetag.

I sprayed it on 3 hours ago and was quite shocked by the top. This is smoky and resinous yet green and balsamic. Smoke is more pitch black tar kind rather than frankincense if anyone is wondering. After 20-30 minutes it does settle down and you start getting galbanum, cedar, herbs and lavender. Unusual take on barbershop. Strictly for gentlemen and fans of old school classic heavy fougeres.

Don't let the opening scare you, pretty sure it was intentionally made and it backfires with most. Give it time and beautiful heart will show itself. Good idea to air yourself out a bit before you want to visit public spaces otherwise it will shock people.

Ivory route was my first purchase from Xerjoff. and so far is my only repurchase from them as well.

Ivory Route is a masterpiece scent with substantial amount of spices running through it’s veins. I get very little basil in the opening. I don’t think I miss it here at all. To my nose it is more about the spicy mix of sandalwood, vanilla, ambers, slight hint of incense hiding behind the curtains and exotic spice bazaar at the centre of the stage. It is an intoxicating blend with quite heavy sillage.

Heartless Helen is all about animalic tuberose. Shoot me on spot but I do recongize Carnal Flower inspired background in here. Scent pyramid indicates only three ingredients but it is way more than that. I sense some marshmallows, sandalwood, soft oud accord, animalistic dirty musk, and of course mandarin blossom and tuberose. Jasmine blossom is playing little peek-a-boo too

I love that this fragrance is so soft and creamy. If feels like a furry, fuzzy cloud around you but at the same time it has claws. At some moments tuberose is very carnal and the moment later it is soft and luscious again. It is not the most blasting tuberose out there is but pretty damn good one. Uniqueness of it is in the dry-down and most people judge their scents by the top notes. Just wait and see, who knows, maybe you will fall in love with it as much as I do.

LANCOME Trésor Midnight Rose is mostly 3-note fragrance to me. I can sense black currant, rose and raspberry all the way to the drydown. Opening is very loud in a good way and immediately brings me to cold winter season with lots of snow on the ground and cozy rose petal jam on a toast laying next to cup of black raspberry flavored tea.

It is very gourmand and super sweet fragrance. It is also very different from classic Trésor. Longevity of Trésor Midnight Rose is beyond 8 hours on skin in winter and if you wear it on cold spring days it lasts for an entire day. The overall scent is very seductive and captivating, especially if you wear it outdoors.

Sillage trails so well in the wind and over the years I got hundreds of reactions from my beloved onesas well as from random strangers on the street. Beautiful bottle design does carry the essence of this scent very well. If you have romantic dinner, a date or getaway with love of your life or you want to smell delicious, Trésor Midnight Rose is perfect for this.
