Perfumemania

This is a nice one from the semi-bespoke collection. Its powdery in the dry down, It smells fresh in the beginning and then the floral notes take over. This was not mind blowing but i think its a nice summer scent. I went down to Roja to try them all, although i didn't try this one on skin, its 3 days now and still strong on the perfume strip. Speaks volumes about the quality ingredients used, Next time will have to try on skin. Good thing about visiting Roja's Haute Parfumerie, is even if you don't end up purchasing anything, you still come home doused in his perfumes.

I went down to Harrods Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie and i tried this one. Was totally blown away by this out of world parfum. Yes, the price is very hefty, but the sheer quality of the parfum justifies the price to me personally, someone else may think otherwise. This parfum reminds me of the movie 'Perfume The Story of a Murderer', underrated classic must watch film.

I love aoud and add musk to it, wow, simply gorgeous combo. This is a bit skanky at first, but then the dry down is absolutely wonderful. I would wear this during winter or fall and on special occasions. Love it.

I just love, love, love this scent. I have the parfum extrait and also the original EDP which is just breathtaking. I bagged the limited edition EDP bottle on ebay which came with a wooden cork and the atomiser. Wow! the cork alone perfumed my wardrobe for weeks on end. Another masterpiece from the 'professor of perfumery'.

If anyone is looking for smooth non-barnyard aoud, then this is the one to go for. I love aoud, but this is my favourite so far. It has become quite a norm for niche houses to launch aoud perfumes, but hands down, no one has done it better than Roja Dove. This is a winter warmer and for formal occasions.
