Let me be clear. I am a woman and I like to wear dresses and I should not like this scent by note description. However, I love it. One of my favorite scents from Andy Tauer. My skin brings out Christmas cookies by a fire place. I get some tar from the road, some leather too. It just works. And it works all day. True art.

This on me is such a beautiful freshly showered just put on a crisp white shirt kind of smell. Clean, lemon balmy, slight creaminess from orris there, clean musk. It is just beautiful and such a shame that Andy discontinued it. I use it sparingly not just because it has great silage but because I do not want to ever run out.

Well according to Andy not technically a chypre and yet... it is... I first get cinnamon and lemon. It reminds me of Danish cinnamon buns drizzled with lemony icing. Bayleaf is there in the background to balance it, make it less gourmand and more elegant. Opening is strong and long and depending on how my skin feels I get either more lemon or more cinnamon. Then it settles to a skin scent and you get small whiffs through the day only as you move. Rose in the heart for me is subtle, blended with other ingredients. If I do not really concentrates on it, it skips me. Later oakmoss and labdanum kick in. There is meant to be patchouli, but either a little or well blended, I am not detecting it. I love the oakmoss that mixes with the cinnamon and labdanum. That is when you take the cinnamon rolls you got in a bakery earlier for a forest walk.
Olfactory story that I get is:
"In the mornings I go to local bakery for my daily cinnamon buns drizzled with lemon icing. The whole bakery smells of freshly baked goods, today they used a lot of lemon. I spend some time there, chatting to the owner. Then I go home passed a florist. Door is open and and I get a whiff of roses. I pack up some herbal tea and the buns and go for a walk to the forest. It is beautifully mossy and damp but not wet."

This is the kind of scent that evokes a fragrant story for me:
''I am in a botanical garden where tuberose and other white flowers bloom around me. I have high tea with scones and peach jam. Suede jacket rests on my chair and its smell whiffs in the air''
Very elegant scent. Very feminine (that is not to say that man can not pull it off, but on me, it smells feminine, floral, sweet and suede). Longevity on skin is average but on clothes will last days.

First I get pineapple. It is smooth and sweet but not sickly sweet and I think of cold pressed pineapple juice (the good stuff, that is smooth, naturally sweet and same color as real pineapple flesh). This is brief and it changes green. It is dry green not juicy leafy green, not forest green but dry, herbatious and bitter zesty. I am seeing yellow and light green and it feels like I am in hot sun, somewhere where the sun dried everything. In the drydown flowers poke through the green herbal bitterness, that does not leave and stays in the background on my skin. I think Francesca nailed the name and colour scheme here. Very calming and relaxing scent.
