Air Tiger from Marc Gebauer
Like most, I was also curious about the fragrance through Youtube and Marc's videos and have ersoukt me a bottling. Fortunately. Not that the fragrance would be bad, he has certainly his lovers, but my nose he does not like so at all. My girlfriend doesn't either. I could not get more opinions yet. Definitely not a "blindbuy"!!!

When I sprayed the fragrance for the first time I was disappointed, had me the ingredients of the top note but already expect great. Lemon and juniper, plus cardamom, one of my favorite fragrances. I was expecting spicy gin and tonic vibes. What I got, however, was a linear head of steam. Leather, leather and more leather, all with an intensity that is unparalleled. If I close my eyes I could find myself in a backyard workshop where an oil change is taking place. To leather joins a mixture of oil and gasoline.

The few fresh and lovely fragrance notes want to break through, but fail with your intention. The Orienttrain remains relentlessly on course. Anyone who is looking for just that has found here a Leistungsstarken fragrance that does justice to the price, because you definitely do not have to apply much to scent the room.

As all too unique I would also not describe the fragrance. A fragrance like Moustache eau de parfum by Rochas gives a similar, but less strong feeling. Is priced but also significantly cheaper.

Maybe not divine, but definitely good!
This fragrance I have tested the first time half a year ago at Müller and was, probably due to the prevailing dogmas, not further interested. But now that I have already tested many fragrances, I like to reach the second time to already smelled and test them more extensively. So I order myself a 10 ml filling of Versace's Eros EdT and began the analysis.

Basically, for me, the fragrances know no age. Who says that fresh, sweet fragrances would be reserved for the youth, or the tart and smoky fragrances should be reserved for the old gentry, who thinks in pigeonholes and I do not like that. There are funky but older contemporaries, just as there are more mature young people and in the end everything is probably a matter of taste and there should be no boundaries. That's my opinion. So away from the dogma and off to the neutral evaluation of the fragrance.

Basically, I recognize from the vibe a certain similarity to Layton of Parfums de Marly. This is probably mainly due to the apple and the associated fruitiness. I like that super. But the scent doesn't linger in perfect sweetness. The freshness of the lemon and mint, grab hold of the apple and that's where the magic begins. Later in the "drydown" the scent becomes creamier and cozy, but also not as intrusive sweet as, for example, stronger with you by Armani.

When one wears the fragrance depends then probably also on your own feelings. Admittedly, the fragrance is quite good in h / s, which will probably be decisive for the fact that it has proven itself in the club. Besides sweat, smoke and alcohol, you have to be loud to be heard. Nonetheless, if you like to be noticed, it can be worn pretty much all the time. If you do not have a single office, or is the boss, you should put on his colleagues for the love of possibly something lighter.

Season? Winter? Yes. Spring. Yes! Summer? No. It shouldn't be too hot, it's too sweet. Autumn? Yes.

I can well imagine that he will soon move in with me. Let's wait for the 10ml filling times! ;)

Is expensive always good?
Via Memento I had a 5ml bottle of the fragrance sent to me, about which so many people talk in the highest tones. Especially the incredibly strong Sillage aroused my interest.

When the scent was there, I tested it immediately after work. Waited. Smelled. Waited. Smell. Smell. Where's the punch in the face? It didn't happen. Today I applied it another time more intensively ( 5 sprays ) and now I write; while the scent unfolds my comment.

First of all. I like the scent and I find it really pleasant. From the dental office I smell something on my clothes but not on my skin. It is known that the head notes last longer on clothes than on the skin, so wait and see.

On the skin the scent needs a moment (half an hour) until it develops in such a way that I can perceive it at a distance, i.e. its aura. Unfortunately, before that I can only perceive it very closely. Right now it still smells indefinable. Slightly sweet yes, but really light. I smell something that reminds me of fresh laundry coming out of the dryer. But also only light. All the perceptions I have are very subtle and almost intangible. But all in all it seems absolutely round and elegant. It goes from the type in any case as indicated by the manufacturer in the direction of unisex with a slight overhang to the feminine.

In the further course of time the scent becomes sweeter, even like cotton candy and now I perceive it better. But a Sillage like from Shuhrah pour Homme by Rasasi, or similar Sillage monsters is not to be expected. Which is not bad at all. On the contrary, I find this subtle aura very pleasant, but too weak for the price. I'd like to be knocked off my feet

My conclusion: An extraordinary and elusive fragrance, with a pleasant body-hugging sillage and good durability. But I will not buy it because of the price. But I am missing that certain something that has not been unleashed with me. I wonder if many of the praises are not due to the high price. According to the motto: What is expensive MUST be good. :)

Become the tiger!
You sit there on the couch. It's quitting time. A package came in the mail and you're holding it in your hand. A solid bottle, elegant, no frills. Its contents: a blue liquid. You take off the cap of the bottle, aim at your neck and pull the trigger. A strong, focused cloud shoots towards you. You breathe in. You panic. Well, buddy, too late. The Shuhrah pour Homme takes effect and you black out. Black out.

You wake up, you have a thick skull. You look around and are confused, because instead of lying on your couch you find yourself on oriental cushions. Okay, you take a deep breath and try to stay calm. What do you see? You can't see far, because the air is filled with a fine mist that rises from incense bowls and reaches the ceiling of the high rooms. You recognize vaults and columns, but no daylight. Gold shimmers in the light of the countless torches and lanterns. You feel reminded of 1001 nights and as if it couldn't be more clichéd, you hear oriental music from afar. Something flashes past you. A giggle. Was that a woman? Several. Where the hell am I? You follow them and start walking through the corridors, past the columns and lights, further through the fog towards the music. You get closer and closer and suddenly there it is, a hiss, a roar. That can't be something... a tiger? No, never. You walk on, no, you run and suddenly the space in front of you opens up, the view becomes clearer, the music too and the outlines you are moving towards take shape. They are mighty and big, but you are not afraid. Suddenly everything is clear and before you can think you look into two sparkling eyes. The tiger, it was not an illusion and on him rests a big hand that caresses him calmly. A man of powerful stature on a golden throne, around Him countless women of incredible beauty. You look up and see him. You know who he is, he knows who you are. He winks at you and says: become the tiger! You go over to the women, the music and the seductions of this world and just when everything is within reach you wake up.

Your phone's ringing. It's your buddy asking if you want to go skiing today. You don't think about it, answer almost automatically. You're in, you're the tiger.

To the fragrance:

The scent of incense makes it different, jasmine and rose give the fragrance an oriental sweetness, the leather and the woody note give it its masculinity. All in all a mysterious and seductive DNA. Pushy but still not annoying. Loud but not impertinent. Self-confidence should be present.

Sillage and durability are unbeatable. Nothing for everyday life, rather something to go out or if you want to attract attention or radiate dominance. 2 sprays are enough. They also get on my skin before I get dressed. Can still smell on the clothes after days. Very unique. You definitely stand out. Price performance unbeatable.

How would Dickie Greenleaf smell?
Attention all those who have never seen the film "The Talented Mr. Ripley". Spoiler warning!

Remember the young Jude Law in the classic "The Talented Mr. Ripley"? A film that was probably inspired in large part by the charm of Dickie Greenleaf. Dickie lives a lifestyle that probably everyone of us wants. He lives in the small town of Mongibello near Naples, spends his days on the beach, playing boccia with the men of the city, or even on a short trip to Rome. Such days can also end spontaneously in a jazz club. The word is probably the best word, everything happens spontaneously. Dickie is a guy who doesn't take life too seriously and likes to flirt for his life. So he needs a scent that might accompany him all day long. From the beach in the morning to the jazz club in the evening.

Dior Sauvage? Sure, he gets lots of compliments, but does Dickie smell like everybody else? No

Acqua di Giò Profumo? Wonderful scent, but too grown-up for Dickie.

Bleu De Chanel? Jackpot? A phenomenal smell. But wait, do you remember that one scene where Tom Ripley tells Dickie about the money he got from Dickie's father? He wants to buy a car, but his girlfriend says they really need a fridge. Apparently, Dickie has to look after the money too.

Well, I guess we finally got it. Dickie Greenleaf is wearing Versace Dylan Blue!

Let's get to the scent:

The fragrance starts wonderfully fresh, perfect for a hot day in Italy. It owes this to the Calabrian bergamot, grapefruit, fig leaf and aquatic notes present in the top note. So it's perfect when it goes straight to the beach.

Continue with the base, here we have violet leaf, black pepper, papyrus wood, ambrox, patchouli. These ingredients give it a certain depth that I miss in Dior Sauvage. It gives the fragrance a masculine character.

The base of musk, tonka bean, saffron, incense underlines the whole and gives it a solid base. These notes can also be used in jazz clubs when the fresh notes have long since faded away.

On durability:

The durability is good, especially on the clothes you can smell the fragrance even the next morning and also on the skin it lasts 6-8 hours. But I often have a small pocket sprayer with me and add more during the day.

To the Sillage:

I don't smell the scent on myself anymore, but I know that I noticed it strongly the first time I sprayed it and the whole room smelled like it, but I have to say that the Sillage could be much better. That would bring the scent to another level.

I would like Versace to produce an "intense version" or an EdP concentration sometime.

In summary, as I have already indicated in my little analogy, I can say that Dylan Blue is a great, versatile fragrance that suits all seasons and all situations. Moreover, the price-performance ratio is good, which makes it predestined to be or become a signature fragrance.

For all those who denounce his versatility. Yes he is not a precision rifle, but the ladies love him and that is what counts ;) ciao ciao, Philos
