Today I received a bottling of this fragrance.

The prelude, citrusy fresh and a little tart, I like well.
Again and again comes to me afterwards from the wrist a still slightly fresh, but now more spicy and floral scent, which already evokes a memory in me after about half an hour. The individual fragrance notes I can not describe soo well, but the spicy-floral after the freshness kick almost gives me a headache, because it seems so familiar to me.
After many hours, in the evening, the base of the perfume still shines pretty....and now the woody hints are also clear, suddenly I know what I smell: a somewhat masculine variation of Jil Sander
Sun. I get my Sun bottle and test both again on paper strips.
Very strong resemblance. And when comparing the fragrance notes, I also notice a lot of similarities.
The MFK is more tart, more masculine, but I lack the elegance I'm used to from MFK.
Aqua Vitae Forte is a nice fragrance, but when I feel like that scent, I reach for Sun.
The price is too high for me with Aqua Vitae Forte, while I find many other MFK fragrances insanely noble and expensive smelling.
That's how it is with subjective perception.

In my imagination, young people stroll SO fragrantly through the carnival.
Fresh, sweet and sour raspberry lychee explosion. Unfortunately, also this plastic rose at the same time. And it has power. So much so that I see beautiful young girls at a shooting booth, laughing happily wrapped in this raspberry dream, but from the booth comes a pungent, unpleasant smell of tremendous red and pink plastic roses.
So one by one, the young girls move on, to the next booth.
They take the sweet raspberry lychee dream with them.
Left behind is the now penetrating plastic flower smell.
Too bad.

A few weeks ago, my favorite cousin and very best friend passed away.
For 60 years we shared every event of our lives with each other and discussed them at length.

It's dreamy. Powdery, soft, a little raspberry I can guess, but mainly first jasmine and lily of the valley. Later, the flowers step aside a bit, it becomes less powdery and more creamy...soft vanilla and sandalwood, yet also a tiny kick of tangerine.
My goddaughter left it for me, I'm so happy about it.
Now I can support my achingly beautiful memories with a little spritz from this 90s bottle. This is an unexpected happiness, another beautiful memory of the best friend.

I was in love with Eaudemoiselle 10 years ago. So noble and elegant.
Curious about this offshoot, I ordered it blind.
Na Bravo, Eaudemoiselle from back then comes only very briefly at the first spray as a hunch blown by.
Then it becomes mystical, dark, bitter and smoky. Poison always comes to mind....so could smell a very old poison mixture. It's all wild imagination.
At the bottom, I enter an old wooden church decorated with red roses and wildly waving incense.
I'm not good at enumerating all the individual notes.
I experience moods and images through a fragrance. And sometimes it's perfectly appropriate to ponder poisonous mixtures in an old wooden church.
That's not to say this eaudemoiselle smells unpleasant.
Very special she smells.
If you want to appear very mysterious, you're well served by it.
I miss something soft and delicate between all the tart stuff. The rose comes through only sometimes a little...

And after that it remains green-fresh with floral accompaniments.
When I want to smell moist, fresh-green nature, this green swan fits the bill.
Not for every day, but for days with departure mood perfect.
He also holds out quite well for a few hours. And nachsprühen is not painful at the price.
