Versatile
After the first application, the idea of the typical 70-80s, powerful fragrance with the freshness, almost soapy, shower gel-like, that is so familiar from that time comes spontaneously. But then after a few minutes it comes - it becomes softer, a little leather and cinnamon join in. It turns into a real gentleman's outgoing fragrance, which comes across as really elegant, clean and masculine. He can never hide the 70-80s vibe, on the contrary, but it's exactly this mixture that makes this fragrance so special.

The bottle is unfortunately not of very high quality. The cap doesn't fit right, and the whole thing looks cheap. But it's not so important to me personally, as long as the content fits

Concerning Sillage one can say that it is well perceptible for 3 hours, but then it is pretty soon over. Longer on the skin, of course, but after all you want to be noticed in your surroundings. It's never bombastic but it's nice and discreetly present in the first hours.

The hammer in terms of price, of course, which is why you can also spray it once :-).

No corners and edges
So dry, desert, spice market, that's all nonsense. What does a desert smell like, or how should something smell dry? With wine, dry does not mean sweet - if that is what is meant here, then that is only partly true. That is all nonsense, as you would say in Germany - or in Austria "nonsense". You can still imagine a spice market, but it smells different everywhere, and you cannot generalize. And that the spice market in Morocco smells like that, so please. The associations that some people here come up with are already gigantic, just because the perfumer has come up with a certain name for his water - and everyone jumps on this bandwagon and parrots everything. Sorry, I don't want to step on anyone's panties, but I don't think anyone can really tell me what a desert or sand smells like. The next one comes and says it smells like water...

Here are my impressions, which you may now also tear up in the air if you like :-):
I can simply say that this Tauer smells fantastic, and whether you associate it with desert, drought, spice market or jungle is up to you. In any case, for me this is not a spice market, because it is too gentle for me. It is a pleasant, soft, almost vanilla touch that is in the air here. At the beginning a light freshness with lavender wrap, but then it slowly fades away. Later it becomes dreamlike smooth, or how should I say a bit creamy, ambiguous, very slightly sweet with a not obtrusive Sillage. It is not that it hits like a bomb, but it spreads like a creeping fog in the room and lasts quite long.

For me one of the best fragrances on my shelf, and I can hardly keep my nose off of it. There are no rough edges, just perfect!

Heavy Bottle, smooth Scent
I bought this perfume because of Youtube recessions, because it is very highly acclaimed there. So I thought I'd like to make a comment.

What immediately catches the eye is the great presentation of the product. A noble box with a damn heavy bottle and padded interior. The flacon lies super in the hand and radiates a certain value. Sometimes I really wonder what is worth more, the packaging or the content ;-).

The scent is very unique and makes you curious. It starts out a bit animalistic, spicy and after about ten minutes becomes softer and more cuddly. This tendency continues in the following minutes. I can't quite make out exactly what's inside, because it's very complex. But it is not everyday and I would describe it as pleasant, warm, slightly spicy, unusual but versatile. You can't smell something like that on every corner, and that's what I like about him. Regarding the bomb situation I have to slow down a bit, because we don't want to exaggerate. The sillage is not bad, as I just got confirmed by my colleagues in the office, but it is not bomb. It is perceived and liked very pleasantly and benevolently in the surroundings. But nobody can tell me exactly what he or she smells, because as I said, a bit difficult the DNA but that's what makes it so interesting.

I would say about 3-4 hours of good (not very good) projection. After that it will be quieter but still clearly perceptible on the skin or nearby. Even later the scent still flows gently into my nose every now and then when I move or a fan comes along. In short, an unusual, soft scent, which is not obtrusive and is very well received in the environment, as I have noticed.

Back from the past
This smell has hit me again fully in black. A mixture of memories of earlier times from my childhood with modern twist. Very similar to Guerlain Mitsouko but less powdery and clearly masculine. I know it's officially unisex, but clearly masculine to me. Maybe that's just my personal association, but I'm immediately taken back to the 70s to 80s with the first nose, because my father smelled similar at that time. I don't know exactly what he was wearing, but I loved it. A familiar feeling, which I am allowed to relive with this wonderful creation.

For me it's a fragrance from the past, but that was so long ago that you can wear it again - in the fashion world it's similar. Besides, I don't really care if a fragrance is now in, modern or old fashioned - it has to please me and last a long time. Diaghilev does both, even if the sillage or projection is not overwhelming now. He is present at close range throughout the day, and even the next morning on his clothes. By the way, I have already received compliments from women, which is not unimportant :-).

I'm glad I found a 10-something again. Pleasant, familiar, striking and for me a great enrichment that I don't want to miss anymore.

Dark Enigma
Do you know the smell you smell when you enter a 100-year-old farmhouse, for example? It is this typical nutmeg-wood note which rises in your nose and takes you to another century. But Merchant Of Venice Venezia Essenza Pour Homme (MOVVEPH) is not dry, musty or even musty - no, it has something refreshing and sweet added to it that makes it something very special.

I don't know exactly what's so cleverly mixed in here to make this artful game between nutmeg, wood, sweetness and light fruitiness, but when I look at the list of ingredients, I discover bergamot (I don't see much here) and petitgrain, which I don't know exactly now, but maybe it is. This really pleasant and not exaggerated sweetness comes, I think, from roasted coffee with cream and lightly sugared or refined with Labdanum. Nothing really sticks into the nose and results in a harmoniously balanced aroma.

As it progresses, the coffee comes to the fore and joins the nutmeg, with this subtle fruitiness always hovering alongside it. MOVVEPH melts more with the scent of your own skin or enhances it - at least that's the way it is with me.

After 30 minutes, the nutmeg still whispers softly in the background. Here the Labdanum dominates, as I think, because I imagine to sniff out a very discreet honey note.

It is not so easy to describe this great fragrance, because here everything flows into each other and leaves a very noble impression. For me it is clearly a scent for going out and less for office and leisure (sports). An elixir for special hours when you want to impress with something extraordinary
