Rosée de Framboise

Actually, I wanted to call this post Gris Framboise, but that somehow evoked unpleasant images in my head?.

At the moment, I'm in blind buying fever. I like to be surprised. With me in the family and circle of friends one has it however not so with surprises. I am even asked on Mother's Day, what I want. Therefore, I just have to surprise myself sometimes.
Preferably land as a surprise here on the site cheap and well rated fragrances in the shopping cart of the relevant fragrance retailers. So also "White Narcisse | Kelsey Berwin" .
The specified fragrance notes fall exactly into my Beuteschema and floral-pudrig is also mine. I also have a soft spot for leather scents. So: order triggered. (With two more I could restrain myself just so).

Meanwhile, I'm then already become careful and have the fragrance after delivery first sprayed on a paper towel. Boooah nee, which can immediately move on again, was my first reaction. The top note is already very Bergamottig and was too violent for me at first moment. Then on the paper towel, the scent didn't do any great development. It just smelled like bergamot with fruit, which mellowed out a bit over time. Nothing with flowery-pudrig.
Then last night the skin test. Yes, top note still bergamot-spritzy scratchy. (I think, however, that I am very sensitive to these citrus notes and perceive very strongly. I also have the problem with orange blossom. I perceive those notes so strongly that they overpower everything)

After about an hour, however, I had fought through and the fragrance became increasingly gentle. Now you can smell the fruit, too. Rosy fruity raspberry buzzes around me with spicy underpinnings. All in all though, the scent remains quite tart with little sweetness. I'm sure there's some patchouli in there too. Leather rather little to none. The base is a dream. I would also classify "White Narcisse | Kelsey Berwin" not as floral-powdery but as floral-fresh.

White Narcisse (why this designation - no narcissus far and wide) reminds me very much of "Gris Dior / Gris Montaigne | Dior" . The "Tuscan Leather (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" mentioned here as a similar fragrance I do not know. But White Narcisse is not a leather fragrance for me.

The bottle is a chunky beauty in white heating varnish. But it counts yes the inner values?.

With Wormland
Yesterday I received the small 10 ml atomizer "Ménage à Trois". Sprayed on, of course. First of all the big disappointment, he smelled completely different than during the test in the branch. There I had a lot of melon (although I don't like melon at all - but it smelled great there -) and only a little Iso-E-Super. Just a moment later: did I perhaps accidentally order the wrong fragrance? No, it's the smell of melon. Now I also understand the discussions that testers in the shop smell different than the original scent - but has never happened to me before.
So instead of smelling melon, there's a lot of iso. And the scent was infinitely familiar. Then it smells like scales from my eyes: that's how it smells at WORMLAND. In the entrance area, you are immediately sprinkled with the scent of a room and that is massive (and I am often at Wormland - my guy is practically the ultimate male edition of the Schoppingqueen).
I let the scent rest for a while - I absolutely want this beautiful melon again. Maybe I just didn't notice it yesterday because I was wearing a fruity scent during the day.

Silver of the night
Since the "Evoke for Her" recently knocked me off my seat so much and it is the fragrance I wear most at the moment, I took a closer look at the brand. There isn't much to find about the Arabic brand and even comments about the fragrances are rare.

The fragrances mentioned have also been mentioned in "Evoke Silver Edition for Her", as they are among my favourite ones. So I made another blind purchase in silver because I found a cheap offer - especially since a certain "question frog" wrote here under my "Evoke for Her" comment, that would be even nicer. THAT wouldn't be bearable at all:-)

Now to the fragrance: The silver has nothing in common with the "Evoke for Her" at all. A completely different fragrance. "Evoke Silver" is a sweet-spicy oriental scent. The top note is already equally violent with spicy sweet vanilla, which also remains and remains. After a short time I can also perceive a light fruitiness. It is also a little scratchy (but only very light) - probably because of the sandalwood in the base, which I often feel that way. The fragrance is very present and has an enormous sillage and endurance.

The first time I sprayed it on, the fragrance seemed very familiar to me - which often happens when you already had a lot of fragrances under your nose. Is Ajmal perhaps also a manufacturer that recreates well-known perfumes? This is "Noir pour femme". For me, the resemblance is striking. "Evoke Silver Edition for Her" is slightly more fruity. I sprayed both to the test on two test strips and compared them over a longer period of time. So if you love fragrances in this direction, you should make a note of a test.

I probably won't keep the bottle, because I already own "Noir pour Femme" (and since the last company Christmas party I can't really stand it anymore - Öhhmm). Also I do not have so often possibilities to wear such heavy oriental scents. When I go out in the evening, it's usually associated with food or concert/cinema with people around me whom I want to be considerate of. I wouldn't use that 100 ml in my life.

The bottle is made of heavy glass, high-gloss and reflective. The spray head is functional and the cap fits perfectly.

Be that as it may: fragrance and bottle - all a question of (good) taste.

The cheese slice

Well...

Since I have had this fragrance since the beginning of May, wear it almost daily and the 75 ml bottle is already half empty, it should be worth a comment. Especially since there is still emptiness here except for a few statements.

Here once a blind purchase succeeded and I was from the first moment in love with the fragrance.
Decisive for me for the purchase was the indication of the fragrance twin "Gris Dior", which seems to me to be unreachable. And a resemblance to this does not seem to be denied. Of course, he's not a twin. "Gris Dior smells softer, more elegant, higher quality. Also "Bottega Veneta" goes in the same direction, but is edgier with more leather. Here I see rather with "Bottega Veneta Eau de Velours" the largest similarity.

"Evoke for Her" begins with a tangy bergamot. But the top note flies away very quickly and gives way to a soft and powdery mix of rose and spices. Later I add clean and rosy patchouli and I also mean to smell some peach or plum. For me the scent becomes very soft but perceptible. I don't notice vanilla at all. Evoke's not very cute either. Maybe a hint of plum/peach.
The fragrance stays for a long time. The Sillage, however, I do not feel as above average, as indicated here above. I wear 5-6 sprayers at home and weekdays in the office and nobody has complained yet. And I prefer softer scents. "Evoke for Her" can be worn at any time and on any occasion.

The only drop of bitterness: The bottle
The processing is good to very good; the glass is heavy and without burrs. The cap fits well and the spray head works excellently and atomizes fine.
But otherwise: Even when I saw the photo of the bottle here, I had the association with a thick slice of Edam. And that's how it stayed. On the long side, the flacon is still wavy, as if the Edam disc had been in the air for too long. The outer packaging is made of beautiful, firm gold changing material, but felt 266 times printed with "Evoke" in gold embossing. Additionally also prints in black. The outer packaging also has a hole in the middle. I call it a design accident. The bottle remains hidden in the cabinet in any case.

But the scent is really beautiful. Probably I'll have to buy a bunker bottle soon.
