As a fan of YSL Y EDP ,the apple dominating synthetic release of 2018 had me excited for a parfum release with my hopes high waiting for a stronger and darker scent (especially when i saw the black bottle my expectations were really high).When the time came to smell this thing I was shocked ,I was hoping that what I smelled was a mistake ,but no it was really true. A shower gel ,basic ,run off the mill concotion that was mediocre from the time it was sprayed till the time it faded .It actually has 0 character I can recall at least 10 shower gels that smell just like it .Hell, it even has less character than the edp which i thought was pretty much impossible.There is no way to describe this scent because there is nothing to actually say ,apple is still there,sage is still there its just just more generic. Longevity is great i guess it lasted for like 8 hours on my neck i could still smell it ,but no one around me could ,unless they came close to my neck.Thats all I have to say YSL Y Le Parfum most dissapointing release of 2021.

When Tom Ford created the private blend line i wonder sometimes what did he envision. I've noticed that many people that dont assosiate themselves with the fragrance world find Tom Ford's fragrances "weird" .I feel like its their way of saying they are over done. Thats the thing with TF ,fragrances with rich notes, and amazing blends of ingredients that you would never imagine they would match.Fragrances that with time change as more notes pop out as the day goes by. But here we have Noir De Noir the prime example of an amazing blend ! The rose ...the saffron ...the truffle , I have yet to find something better.Black Orchid parfum came close with the truffle ,but nope Noir De Noir remains the king .Silage and Longevity is something we do not need to talk about ,its incredible,this fragrance lasts all day and projects to a 2-3 foot range for 8 hours at least. The scent on the other hand is something addictive that makes me want to take more sniffs so I can absorb and comprehend all its notes ,the analogies and what stands out to me the most .For about 1 hour all I can smell is the Saffron ,hints of Truffle and Rose and with the combination of floral notes. After that ,all the hints i mentioned pop out more with the oud and vanilla setting in and making it a more intimate fragrance .In my opinion its one of the best Unisex Fragrances. Sometimes I wish it was moved to the signature line so it could recieve a revamped parfum version .I really like its DNA and with a modern take i believe it could be a major hit on the market .

Although it's December, Christmas Week here in Greece was filled with sunny days and relatively high temperatures. So ....Terre D Hermes Eau Fraiche was brought out of the closet for few occasions and will probably see the wake of dawn back again in Spring. All I can say is ,although it maintains the original TDH DNA (in my nose it really doesnt) ,it discards all the things that I dislike in the EDT ,PARFUM and intense Vetiver version. First of all,its a more modern and refined version of the EDT( granted it came almost a decade later) and its really a breath of fresh air with all the aquatic notes including the orange and bergamot standing out ,make it a perfect seaside or peak of spring fragrance with moderate (on my skin...it lasts way more on clothes) longevity .Silage is pretty much nonexistant , although I recieved compliments for its dry down (the patchouli and spicy notes popping out) ,the first 20-30 minutes where its silage peaks I did not even get a mention. Only on occasions where I asked about someones opinion,did someone mention that they like the scent. For those who have tried ,it felt like wearing an Acqua Di Parma aquatic line fragrance .The case with them is that the first 20-30 minutes you leave 3 foot trail (especially on sunny days) ,and suddenly all of that dissapears and it instantly becomes a pleasant skin scent with the only people blessed enough to get to smell it are the ones that put their nose a bit too close on your neck. Enough about projection and longevity,lets talk about scent . Similarly to Chanel Allure homme Edition Blanche ,there is depth in this green-fresh bad boy . At first like I mentioned the fresh-opening is really interesting and unique in my opinion .The dry down on the other is a totally diferrent fragrance that is definantly not as fresh as the opening and a tad more intimate .THIS FRAGRANCE IS MEANT TO BE WORN DAY TIME , PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT WEAR THIS IN THE NIGHT . This fragrance is definantly in my top 10 day time fragrances and the past Sunny December Days helped to solidify its spot .

YSL did it .They fixed LNDH in its tragic 2021 state and transformed it into a powerful , mass appealing and sexy Fragrance . Dont get me wrong they did not reinvent the wheel nor did they make something groundbreaking that will change the shift of the fragrance world ,but they finally did something right. They created a fragrance that is meant to appeal to the masses and it actually does .Judging by the past mens releases of 2021 and 2020 it went downhill for the Y and L'homme line ,with one weak release after the other. But once again ,we're here LNDH Bleu Elecrtique is here and all that is past news. The fragrance kicks off with a spicy-fresh opening with the ginger not being that present in my nose but subtle yet existant.The bergamot and cardamom as well the cedarwood dominate the first note grabbing your attention by the instant. As it sets down the lavender geranium and vetiver show up as it dries down and turns into a more intimate scent in the matter of 3-4 Hours ,where I think its scent peaks. Copliments fly in with this fragrance ,its pretty much a case of the "you cant go wrong with this one" ,it is inoffensive ,it is pleasant and certainly not difficult to pull off. Some may find it boring ,I personally dont,I find it more interesting than your average blue line .Longevity is basically all day long especially on clothes ,silage on the other hand is not as strong ,with a 1-1.5 half foot projection at its peak.Finally, I really liked the bottle even when eau electrique came out ,turns out this time I like the fragrance too.
