Extase Musk. The fragrance of my youth. Thanks to a dear perfumer, I was able to travel back to that time again. Really. At first I asked myself: am I still her? I was 16 when I bought this fragrance. I was still at school and didn't really know where my path would actually take me. I had permed hair. I actually hated it, but I kept getting it done anyway. At some point, I dyed my hair cherry red.

As I wet my wrist with Extase Musk, I am that girl again for a moment. I breathe in the peachy, synthetic scent. It's grungy and yet so pleasantly warm and soft. So typical of the eighties. Now I also understand the hairspray association that I have read in some of the statements here. The nostalgia enchants me, but this fragrance is actually a little too artificial for me today. The musk seems almost a bit distorted and yet is so beautiful again. This sweetness is overwhelming and dreamlike at the same time. As a young girl, I loved this rich, sweet scent. Today, I think I realize that there were some high-dose aromachemicals at work that I probably wouldn't like so much today if I smelled them for the first time.

But that doesn't matter now. This fragrance sends me back to another world. And yes, there really is still a lot of that girl in me. I throw Dark Star by Deine Lakaien into my stereo. Does anyone still know that? I still like it today. And I still like that kind of scent today. I understand so well why Ikiryō fragrances like Drifting or Coralie appeal to me so much today. These two also have that grunginess mixed with soft, gentle musky notes, just like Extrase Musk. They have a certain sweetness and also a synthetic quality that I don't always want on me. But when I feel like it, I really do. And then I could almost sink into this fine musk fragrance.

I no longer need to own this nostalgic fragrance. There are actually more beautiful perfumes that touch my heart even more. I can also smell a certain similarity to my favorites Paname and Douce Amère. But yes, I still love it. And I think I knew the path I was going to take back then better than I thought I did.

Oh. Nuage Cerisier by Kenzo is enchanting. It's sweet, fruity, playful and envelops you in a soft musky cloud reminiscent of washing powder or fabric softener. It's not really my kind of fragrance, but I still apply a drop of it almost every morning before I go for my morning run. And I can't help but think of you. If you were still here and we were running together regularly, I think I would give you a bottle of it straight away.

This fragrance is so youthful, so radiant, so clean and fresh and has a pleasant lightness to it. A young woman spins around laughing in the spring sunshine, flowers are blooming everywhere, she wears clothes that smell of detergent and fabric softener, blows a bubble gum bubble with her fruit-flavored chewing gum and beams with the sun.

The scent makes me smile. Every time I sniff my wrist. Even if it doesn't really suit me. This airy musky scent combined with light and delicate flowers, so full of purity, just smells beautiful. I don't see myself, I see you in front of me. How often they mistook us for mother and daughter. We had to smile every time. And today I miss you since you moved away.

Yes, I'm a little bit in love with this almost childlike, floral Kenzo. The top and heart notes are a dream. The base note, however, no longer convinces me 100 percent. Here, the fruity note - not a natural-looking mandarin for me, but more like in iced tea or fruit gum - comes through a little too strongly and the floral note tends to fade into the background.

Nevertheless, this beautiful fragrance from Kenzo's Memori range just won't let me go. I will definitely treat myself to a spray from the bottling here and there. Maybe tomorrow morning? And who knows? Maybe I'll get so used to this delicate and subtle fragrance, which gradually fades after around 3-5 hours, that I'll want to buy a bottle one day.

Attention. Here comes a warning. To all perfumos and perfumas who, like me, are sometimes too greedy and buy fragrances too quickly. Today I was once again able to experience live and in color how important it is to wear a fragrance properly instead of just sniffing it briefly on the wrist, paper strip, cotton ball or crook of the arm, even on the little toe if you like. Because only when fragrances are worn properly do they really reveal all their facets and thus also those that an enraptured nose simply ignores on the first, second or third sniff.

11 11 from Lake & Skye. It must actually be my favorite scent. A musky fragrance with amber that is only available in the USA. Even after a lengthy internet search, I couldn't find a single source that sells the fragrance in Europe or even ships it to Germany. That just screams Polly. Isn't it?

The first tests were promising. Yes, it has something aquatic about it, but all in all it's not wild and it doesn't take long for this fine, buttery, chicken-feather-soft musky note to appear. Even if it is a bit too clean, typically American, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.

Apparently we are dealing with a hype fragrance here, as the previous statements and reviews reveal. However, I have never heard of it before in my life. But that's not too much of a surprise. Because with very few exceptions, I hardly watch any perfume influencers.

I wore it solo for the first time today and was honestly really happy. And now I'm sitting here like a cleaning fiend. "Sidolin cleans streak-free" was the first thing that came to mind. Where have my beautiful cotton musk clouds gone? Well, they're probably in the Calone car wash right now. Because Calone, along with a few other not-so-nice aroma chemicals, is making quite a splash here. "A fragrance all to yourself" and "up close and personal", I read in a review. Mhm, I thought to myself. More like a sillage monster for me. At least around my nose.

Yes, it has certain traits of my blue Cašmir, the opening of which goes a little in this direction before it becomes more ambery and warmer. And the musk tends a little towards Etro Musk. That's why I jumped at this one. Understandable. I didn't expect to get a good load of Sidolin Stripe Free on top of this. After a few hours it becomes really pleasant, but Sidolin is still there.

I'm so glad I didn't put the fragrance in any shopping baskets straight away out of sheer greed. So, dear ones. Do it better like me. Wear it 1-2 times solo and be patient. Because some fragrances have a lot going for them. This one in particular. And now I'm going to continue cleaning. Because it's so nice right now.

The first approach. I get lilies of the valley and a dreamy musky scent that joins the lilac bushes in bloom. The lily of the valley smells like my wonderful Coralie and the musk almost exactly like Soliani's Il Vs Iris, which I wore again just yesterday. A fine, cloudy white, slightly creamy musk note that makes me think of white sheets in the spring sunshine.

Of course, my eyes went wide. A fragrance like my Il Vs Iris, only with lily of the valley and lilac? That has to be one for me. Absolutely. Before I dared to wear it properly and risk losing my heart completely, I first looked to see if Rue des Lilas was still available. At first I couldn't find any options on my cell phone. Limited edition. It was so obvious. But I didn't give up and kept researching. On the PC. And I actually found several online stores that were still offering it and even shipping it to Germany.

So I applied Rue des Lilas and just wanted to enjoy the magic of this fragrance. And then it happened. There. A disruptive note. Between all the lily-of-the-valley smeared
White-flowered beauty, the blooming, green lilacs and the pure, white musk, a nasty little aromachemical nipped in. A Mü at most. Because the fragrance is delicate. I sprayed it a few times and after 2-3 hours there's not much of it left. But it still has that Mü evil. And I think it could be Ambrocenide or a relative that wants to spoil this almost perfect beauty a little. Unfortunately, I've noticed several times with Guillaume's fragrances that reissues and reformulations no longer quite correspond to the original formulation and sometimes have additions that are no longer entirely on my wavelength. Unfortunately, this is also the case here.

It could have been so beautiful: A fragrance that still exists. For under a hundred euros even. But it just wasn't meant to be. Such a shame.

You know when love suddenly strikes? So unexpectedly. But it still hits you like a bolt of lightning. Your heart leaps and sings. And I want to dance.

Yes, it's almost new. The name is perfectly chosen. I actually know one or two fragrances that are similar to Nearly Nu. I love them all. So I am not surprised that I have also fallen in love with this fine Irish beauty by Michael Schrammel. It starts woody with delicate powdery iris, just like my wonderful Bois d'Iris by Van Cleef & Arpels. This basic tendency also remains. As it progresses, it also reminds me a little of Eau Duelle by Diptyque. I loved this fragrance for so long, until one day something bothered me. It was changed. Or my perception changed. It can always be both. But here it is completely absent, the disturbing note. Everything here is noble, delicately gentle, without scratchiness. Without pinching.

The base is then almost a little classic. A vanilla that reminds me of the nuances of Guerlinade. Not really my thing. But since the powderiness of the iris remains, as well as this light woody note with a hint of incense, I find access to this vanilla, which is often a little too serious and almost antique for my nose. Lyn Harris has already managed here and there, for example in Heliotrope, to bring me closer to these very classical traits. Michael Schrammel has done the same with Nearly Nu.

Even though this fragrance is nothing new, as the name suggests, it is simply beautiful. It combines so many olfactory details that are so beautiful to me that it makes me dream. It is, of course, at the top of my wish list. As it and the entire brand are currently only available in the USA, I will have to be patient at first. Not my greatest strength. I know that. One day you will be mine, you gentle beauty.
