Found again
Oh, how beautiful! He still exists. Only now his name's Oliban, not Grisens anymore. The Phaedon samples were given by Duftcontor Oldenburg a few years ago by the dear Christiane. I had given this and also Dzhari to my husband, because I find both fragrances beautiful myself, but I consider them better on men's skin in any case. I myself love IUNX L'Ether or Passage d'Enfer on my skin when it must be incense.

The incense and sandal combination is fresh, cool, absolutely suitable for business and yet, I think, he has something totally cuddly and homey. I always loved to sniff my better half. At some point the Pulle was gone and when I wanted to get supplies, I realized that there was no Grisens left from Phaedon Paris. All the more I am happy that I found him again thanks to Parfumo :)

I found durability and Sillage now quite neat. So if man had scented himself with it in the morning, I could still smell the evening well.

He can definitely move back in with us.

Vanilla and frankincense in perfect harmony
Whoa! With phytotherapy like my Vorrender Schnoork I can't get around the corner now, even if I find it unspeakably exciting. But I like Eau Duelle at least as much :)

Had the EdT and me previously only last year after the felt fourth or fifth bottle used up the unfortunately even more expensive EdP granted. First of all I have to say that the EdP doesn't last forever and just like the EdT it stays very, very close. On the one hand a bit of a pity, but on the other it's always just right if you don't want to be touched by the scent. That's one I even wear to the doctor or the osteopath without a guilty conscience.

What I particularly like about Eau Duelle is the combination of vanilla and incense. Since another scent madman had fixed me with Weihrach and I possess also the one or other incense smell, I had to test this combination absolutely, because vanilla belonged always to my favorite notes. It was clear that he would move in with me immediately and accompany me for many, many years now.

And yes, I think Vanille Insensée from Atelier Cologne also plays in this league. At first I thought if you had one, you wouldn't need the other. I was totally wrong about that, because you need both. The differences are fine but still significant. Because the smoky of Eau Duelle doesn't have vanilla insensée at all. I always like to wear both of them at customer meetings, so you never do anything wrong. And: Both of them are always used when I can't make up my mind after having inspected all my bottles umpteen times. They really always leave. Whether it's 30 degrees outside or snowing

A touch of the Caribbean in the Federal Republic of Germany
That's the kind of guy I'm gonna miss painfully. I've probably bought Léa two or three times already. I became aware of the fragrance when we could still have luckyscent send us fragrances to Germany. It's been a while. At some point I had a bottle that I liked and then I had to get the first original bottle. Unfortunately this is mostly the case with me....

Léa is sweet, wonderful, beautiful, does not disturb or annoy anyone and lifts the mood. I like this delicate almond vanilla combo that gently caresses you. The shelf life could be slightly better, but especially on hot days I find Léa always fits, because he is never too much. A fragrance which - similar to Lostmarch's LANN AEL - cannot be overdosed at all.

Although Léa is a Caribbean fragrance and should smell like beach, palm trees, coconuts and the sea, in the transitional period from spring to summer here in southern Germany I always perceive a similar fragrance in the air. Is it just me, or can there be any truth to it? If I sniff this note, I like to apply Léa afterwards absolutely :)

Very, very sad that he leaves. Always the beautiful ones leave us

Unexpected love
When I just got the information that there is a new post for this fragrance, I thought I'd take it right away :)

Because I never would have tested Bryant Park. There are notes in it that basically don't appeal to me at all. Lily of the valley? No! Pepper? No! Rose? It usually doesn't work either. But whatever. The scent was in an exchange pack as a sample and I thought, if it is already there, then I just test it. Not only was I pleasantly surprised, but I was really surprised that I liked a fragrance with these notes so much. I find it round, delicate and beautiful from beginning to end. It's light, but still has a decent presence. I have already been asked what would smell so pleasant here. Sure, the price is high, but I just liked the little bond so much that it didn't matter and I hit it. Today I would not like to miss him in my collection any more. Bryant Park goes every chance he gets. Whether in business or private, in the morning or in the evening, and I think it's a fragrance that goes really well with your holiday. That's why I always like to take him with me on vacation :)

Dreamlike youth memory
I've known Casmir since I was young. For many years he was my favourite perfume and accompanied me. When I discovered the scent, I was 17 years old and naturally could not afford it. All the more joy when my mother gave it to me. Before I had used perfume from time to time, but Casmir was my first real fragrance, which was also associated with me by others. I wore it even after leaving school and during the first years of my studies. I don't know the current version because I discovered Macadam from Il Profumo about 12 years ago. A similar fragrance, which is a ticking more reserved and has replaced Casmir as my signature fragrance so to speak. The descriptions of the new fragrance make me sad, because at that time it was really something very special. A dream of peach, coconut and vanilla. I felt happy and self-confident whenever I wore it. And the comments, from both men and women, were always positive. I never had to listen to Puffmutti or anything like that. The fact that it is perceived today by many as omega scent makes me wonder. Am I that old? ;) :(

For me, Casmir is a wonderful memory of my youth. And I also think that the nineties were absolutely great when it came to opulent fragrances. Most of my classmates wore Jil Sander Sun, also a heavy caliber, which I acquired at that time. Today, I often miss this special thing that the old classics, especially Casmin, had to offer when it comes to non-niche fragrances :)
