Contamination or why this can't be a summer scent
First of all, I would like to thank Norleans. He has actually made true what he promised in his commentary. Megamare at the price of postage. Thanks for that.

And to anticipate it and I hope Norleans doesn't resent me, all I can't share his assessment.

Mr Alessandro Gualtieri is not known for his olfactory restraint. Basically everything with bumps and guns. And Megamare is in no way inferior.

The scent blows off immediately at the start. Spicy, aquatic and above all very synthetical (otherwise the whole thing would not be possible). And you can't make a mistake. Hold the nose directly into the spray area. There I perceive exactly what Norleans describes. That salty chemical club. Horrible. But only if you keep your nose clean. Otherwise the scent reminds me of a modern fresh scent from a certain distance. My first thought was the Light blue pour homme eau intense by Dolce&Gabbana. Only this time really in intense.

A little anecdote about the durability and Sillage I would not like to withhold from you: I received the bottling last week Friday. In the afternoon I sprayed a small (and I mean really small) splash on the top of my left forearm and put on my jacket shortly afterwards. And even five days later, when I put on my jacket where I sprayed it five days ago, I can smell the scent right where my arm is. Stronger than the perfume I'm wearing right now. Megamare literally contaminated my jacket. I don't know what the ocean was called Pangaea at the time of our super continent. Megamare would fit. And if this scent had existed millions of years ago, one would still find molecular remnants during excavations today and wonder why the dinosaurs wore perfume. In other words, the shelf life and the Sillage are insane. A splash on the naked skin and really only on the skin is perfectly sufficient. I will probably be able to pass on my bottling.

Because of this, Megamare cannot be a real summer scent. A summer scent will refresh you in heated cities at temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. And if that scent didn't finish you off, your people will. I promise. I promise.

Therefore, Megamare remains exceptional in its overall structure. Purely fragranced, you get a normal modern newbie. And please be careful with your nose.

Greetings

Hello first. I don't know if they knew
Hello first. I don't know if they knew, but this one's not a bad one.

Sure, the old eau de toilette would have been there, but I mean, it doesn't have to be. But I really have to say, I am fully satisfied.

The first La nuit de l'homme as eau de toilette that I had, so seven years ago, I gave away again. About seven years ago. Somehow he must have made a pretty bad impression on me after all. They sell them for a lot of ash these days. But all right, that's the way it is.

I mean, okay, I'm not the guy who's into that now. Here's to sweet, fruity and spicy things. But well, somehow you get older, no.

In this way I continued my search for perfume. I really have everything
i tried it. I wanted to bribe the Douglas employee, I wanted to
invite her over for dinner. But not a chance. She gave me the perfume the same way. That's too bad.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake with the bottle. Stupidly bought the L'Intense. But they really look almost the same. I tried to exchange it. Well, when I was released from custody the next morning, he was already out of stock.

Yeah, and now I've just bought this perfume somewhere else. No, but otherwise I have to say, I am completely satisfied. And we're getting along really well. But I mean, perfume doesn't have all the advantages, of course. It's a bit stupid that my wife doesn't like it, so you can live with it. Separate beds have something for themselves.

Well, the beginning is really very fresh-fruity. But after a while, joah, the whole thing becomes pretty spicy, slightly sweet. You can also not complain about the shelf life and the Sillage. Nah, so if I didn't know now.

No, but otherwise I really have to say, I am fully satisfied and I
mine with the current new publications is also appealed again and again,
to provide the best possible perfumes. That's why I'm now
i also thought I might give someone else a chance and let him move in with me. I need to see it. Should one actually do.

Greetings

Subject: Your product - Hommage à l'Homme

Ladies and Gentlemen,

my name is Profumorist and I am editor of a perfume online evaluation platform surely known to you. As I have tested and appreciated some of your products in the past (e.g. Encre Noire, Encre Noire Sport and White), I would love to devote myself to another of your products. Namely the Hommage à l'Homme. A perfume that I have been able to test several times and which I liked very much right from the start.

But since I am not a trained nose in deciphering individual fragrance components, I would kindly ask you to explain some details and aspects of your product to me. I would be particularly interested in information about the course of the fragrance, the durability, the sillage and the bottle.

Thank you in advance.

Yours sincerely

Profumorist

Subject: WG: Your product - Hommage à l'Homme

Dear Professor,

first of all, thank you very much for sending us your e-mail and the trust you have placed in our products from the Lalique Group.

First of all we would like to mention that we were able to win Christine Nagel for the composition of our product Hommage à l'Homme. Christine Nagel is a recognized master of her trade and is now the successor to the great Jean-Claude Ellena, head perfumer at Hermès.

The top note of our product Hommage à l'Homme is characterized by a fresh and at the same time metallic-cool start. The main component of our product Hommage à l'Homme, the violet or violet leaf, in combination with the bergamot and the spice of saffron, provides this effect. Violet is not used very often in the art of perfume. In our opinion, there are no corresponding comparisons with Christian Dior's Fahrenheit. With the heart note, the interplay of pepper and pimento leaf is added and provides this unmistakable fresh, spicy impression, which continues to be accompanied by the violet slightly cool. Towards the base, the oud and the musk become more recognizable and give the fragrance an additional slightly animalistic touch.

Extraordinary, noble, classic and therefore timeless. A tribute to the man.

Our product Hommage à l'Homme was designed in such a way that you can enjoy a whole working day without any problems, but without taking up too much of your colleagues' time.

As you may know, Lalique has been world famous for its glass art since its beginnings in the 19th century. Of course, this quality should also be reflected in our perfume bottles. The design of our unusual bottle made of heavy glass is intended to remind us of the coffered ceiling of the Pantheon in Rome. This coffered ceiling not only served as a visual design, but was also intended to reduce the weight and thus the bearing load and thus contribute to the enduring durability and stability of the entire building. Our product Hommage à l'Homme is also intended to make it easier to cope with the burden of everyday life and to give you a feeling of freedom.

We wish you continued pleasure with our products.

Yours sincerely

We'll be able to say, "We were there."
I have an interesting history of fragrance preferences behind me. I was born in 1980, so my preference for perfumes began around 1994. I wore CK One, CK Be, Cool Water and Tommy Cologne. But also treasures like the old Havana (which I own again!), Fahrenheit, What about Adam or Azzaro pour homme. In the 00s again I wore everything that the local Douglas had in store for Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Baldessarini, Kenneth Cole and his friends. Fragrances that all I'm asking myself today are, "How did this happen?" And first of all, sweet fragrances are not really my cup of tea. Le Male, 1 Million & Co. You can't.

Then I discovered Dior Homme for myself. It must have been sometime in 2012. A sweet scent that I liked?! And what a one. A wealth of facets and a quality impression that I didn't know before. Probably no wonder, given the prehistory. This wonderful fresh powdery sweet lavender with a good portion of cocoa. And in the drydown mixed with the vetiver. A unique station wagon. Noble, elegant and suitable for all occasions. For me personally next to Terre d'Hèrmes with the best drydown of a perfume. In addition a very good durability and almost perfect Sillage. The whole thing packed in a pretty stylish bottle.

The eau de toilette. A scent of a master perfumer. And the best in the line. Still worth gold to Dior. The Cashcow, which was praiseworthily not milked at all, as other manufacturers might have done.

The price of his success is merely the frequency with which he is perceived outside with others. But even that will subside one day.

I hope I have awakened the skeptics of sweet-powdery smells the desire to test with this comment. That's really something special.

If we continue to run this community in 20 years, we will probably think back as longingly to this vintage as some people do today with scents like Zino or Antaeus. And we'll be able to say, "We were there."

Greetings

When he was still trendy..
Once upon a time there was a famous German fashion house that decided in 1985, albeit a little late, to launch its first perfume factory on the market. A fragrance that still corresponded to the spirit of the time. Even if the refreshment wave a la Green Irish Tweed, Cool Water and New West was already in sight. And as it is, this work was for decades the best they created there.

First of all I would like to make it clear that I don't notice any animalism, no pungent sweat smell and also no resting place toilet with the Number One. What you smell at the beginning is the herb-heavy freshness of aftershave with a lot of honey. In the middle part, very delicate floral unisons can be heard. Just as it was usual with a classic men's fragrance at that time. At the end the Moosig-seifig-Ledrige comes through more and more. And still supported and accompanied by honey.

The whole thing is wonderfully balanced, round and with an above-average shelf life and fragrance. Fresh, leathery, mossy and a little tobacco accentuated. Classic masculine in a positive sense. Timeless.

Perhaps it is the interplay of honey and caraway that makes one or the other

The boss is a distinct scent of the '80s. No "I vote green-esse vegan-and ride my bike to work" smell. He's out of fashion. Not adjusted in 2019. He's not restrained. Doesn't want to hide. He's doing what he was made for. Notice! Maybe that's why I like him so much, because I basically can't do much with trends. And no, I have nothing against the Greens, the Vegans or the cyclists.

I think it's great that something like this is still available these days. And at a very reasonable price. If you filled it into the brown pharmacy bottles and wrote Tom Ford on them, you would pay three times the price for half the contents. And before the TF disciples scream here, you test the Arabian Wood. Just for comparison.

So to be honest: If you need a change from time to time besides the modern water, you should test it here. It's definitely worth it.

Greetings
