Roja Enigma & Elysium have a baby and release the shower gel version
Sedley reminds me of a fusion of Elysium & Enigma by Roja.
A very very interesting progression in my eyes and a beautiful men's perfume. My new favorite.

Fragrance:
Dawn. The alarm clock rings. He stays down for a bit and stretches... Like every morning, he catches another whiff of Elysium from the day before and inhales it deeply before getting up for the day. No one is awake yet. The streets are quiet. It is his favorite time of the day. Everything is peaceful and quiet. No one but himself is around right now. His thoughts belong only to himself.
In the kitchen, he puts on the water for his fresh mint tea every morning. He nurtures a plant for this ... the tea bags don't have the same aroma.

His morning shower is set to slightly warmer temperatures. He is not a quick showerer. He uses the dawn to think in the shower and prepare for the day. He gathers his strength as the warm water completely traces and embraces the contours of his back. He closes his eyes.

The booze from the fresh & citrusy shower gel with little rosemary exfoliating granules and the warmth spreading through the bathroom after the shower heats his skin. His skin steams.
He looks out the window. The purist lavender plant is there. The sun is just about to rise. He opens the window to let the almost incense-like heavy steam in the bathroom lighten. He needs the freshness in the morning. The breeze is so light, calm and pleasant. It takes away the heaviness of stuffy air in the bathroom right away. His skin stops steaming.
Something is missing ... a tiny little spray of Enigma. He hears a subtle hint of cola mixed with the fresh morning shower.
The first rays of sun rise. The day can start.

A really beautiful men's perfume. :) i was thinking all the time what it reminds me of and now i know.
If Roja Enigma and Elysium had an interaction and put this out as a shower gel, I bet it would smell like this.

Must be said is that the slight cola hint comes in drydown, which took a very good hour on me.

I suspect, incidentally, that the interplay of bergamot - rose geranium - sandalwood sprays the "cola" like vibe. Exactly these three notes are in the same order also in the Enigma. :) here of course not at all as sweet as in Enigma. Thus perhaps even more beautiful ...
You can look at it as a little touch of Cola Lemon. ;) in shower gel format.

I love it. ♥️

Masculine Mon Guerlain

The fact that Layton was presented to me as apple vanilla cake and sent with it, had influenced my expectations in advance. By the way, the first time I used it, I did not perceive anything of such notes. Thus, I put Layton away for a later test.

On the second test, I went for a walk. At some point my hair blew in my face and I perceived the isolated notes & clearly different vibe than was described to me!

The drydown of Layton drags on. Estimated 3 hours of development were needed before I could perceive the subtle vanilla, sweet notes. For this reason, Layton did not pass the first test. I judged prematurely.

Has anyone baked an apple crumble / cake and knows how it smells in the kitchen after the crumble is taken out of the oven? This slightly sweet warm scent, green juicy apples with lavender garnish as well as predominant jasmine flowers I notice very strongly. Layton is a floral sweet perfume for men & not an apple pie gourmand in my eyes. The apple serves as a rounding and stays discreetly in the background.

Layton reminds me of mon guerlain for women. The vibe is similar. When comparing the chords, I'm not wrong either. They are almost identical. Lavender, jasmine and vanilla as interesting actors. Here only just for the men with discreet apple.

Since I love Mon Guerlain, I love of course also Layton incredibly to a man. The male Mon Guerlain! I love it very much.

Ps, H+S is TOP!

Cola Zero Vanilla with Spice for the successful & awesome men who are quite sweet in their spare time
As I noticed with its more serious counterpart elysium, Roja scores with its drydown. Again, I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the delicious scent. Please be patient! You will be rewarded.

Enigma is for the reigns who want to go to their leisure time with Elysium after their hard and successful day at work. Your workday consists of a work-conform strong cool attitude in a suit and upscale professionalism. Everything is perfectly organized. No mistakes. Not too many emotions. That's Elysium.
In leisure time, the serious and cool facade is discarded.
The gentleman leaves the workplace elegantly and gracefully with Elysium and enters the deserved leisure time with Enigma.

Fragrance:
Every few days, he buys a single red rose at the end of the workday. No. Not for a lady. He buys the beautiful rose for himself. He likes to have a rose on his dresser in the vase, and he maintains having one throughout. He just loves little details. The flower shop smells so beautifully green and pure. It's worth buying a single rose after work for that scent alone where he usually only smells files, leaves and leather.

He buys an iced Coke Zero Vanilla at the nearest kiosk in a glass. It has to be glass and the Coke has to be chilled too. Otherwise, the Coke does not taste and will not be bought.

He asks for ginger because he always adds ginger to his Coke. No one but him drinks the beverage that way. After a long day at work, though, he needs the extra ginger. It's like a kick for him that reminds him of how successful he was today.

Straw, of course, he doesn't need. He always has his own cleaned black leather straw with him. He won't use a plastic one after all. That wouldn't be him.
The first sip of that Coke and a fresh breeze blows in my face. Finally made it through the day.

Once home, the gentleman drinks a small shot of cognac in a heavy 100% crystal based glass. He sits down in his brown leather chair, puts his keys down on the wooden dresser and his brown briefcase neatly and conscientiously on the floor. With the cognac, a cigar must be smoked for the feeling. This one is not finished. The gentleman does not smoke. It is more about the ritual.

The day is over.

Enigma is definitely sexy like its cool counterpart Elysium! I don't think a man can wear better perfumes. The two are my personal must haves on men.
While elysium remains serious, conscientious and professional without being playful, Enigma is like the revelation of the not-so-serious soul of a man who is not at all as serious in his spare time as he has to pretend to be at his workplace. This man has a multi-faceted and unfathomable heart.

Huge huge recommendation to you men. I love it. :) Woman & man must like sweet scents though. My mom he has not liked at all.

Ps, no I was not inspired by any YouTube videos & opinions of known (and unknown to me ) YouTuber. I get my bottlings as gifts or order them myself and the ones I like I Reviewe. :)

And if the world were black and white, the mysteriously cool beauty would stand out
This perfume took me back 12 years. :)
A time in which my mom was still very sporty and full of drive and had her neat Tommy Hilfiger blouses with fabric pants on and raced with her black always incredibly clean car :D through the area. Yes my mum was a woman with hair in her teeth and full of energy.
This is exactly the kind that perfume embodies.
The first spray just reminded me of her.

Fragrance:
I perceive pomegranate and kiwi (?) in the first moment. Quite unisex and with a tart shampoo vibe. Like a pantene pro v in unisex.
Shortly thereafter, discreet (!!) creamy notes join in to further emphasize the woody unisex note. Probably comes from the Lotus.
The drydown brings a tart woody and pure deep black floral. The orchid is deep black with slight violet traces. She is aloof and one looks at her from afar rather .... out of respect. An orchid that can tolerate freezing cold temperatures, thrive without love and care. Nothing keeps her away.
Even if the whole world lost its colors and everything was black and white... this orchid would still stand out with its deep dark black color. After all, it doesn't get any darker than that. The orchid sways in drydown with a hint of Pantene v unisex shampoo vibe with pomegranate syrup aroma.

I'm addicted to this perfume. I love it. It smells aloof, successful, focused and discreet. On the one hand, the perfume reminds of familiar notes and tries in vain to link associations ... on the other hand, it smells so extraordinarily reverently different.

I gave my mom the perfume as a gift because I associate it with her and couldn't turn it off. Oddly enough, she felt the same way I did. It was love at first spray for her.

A huge huge recommendation for this absolutely underrated perfume. The wearer of this perfume has great luck for little money to smell different and yes ... mysteriously successful.

More noble, more serious and with a higher post: Dad from Aventus
I must honestly say that the perfume does not smell unfamiliar. I am not fit in the perfume area for the gentlemen among us. Nevertheless, it smells old familiar and is thus a crowdpleaser. :)

My first association was: could be the citrus and lavender tinged more serious father from aventus. :)
While aventus scores playfully fruity and definitely youthful with distinct pineapple, elysium remains elegant, more austere and "neater" due to the citrus/lavender notes. It comes across as incredibly clean, classy and grown up! Less playful. (Who likes aventus, the power with elysium nothing wrong!)

Anyway, with the first spray bergamot and lemon come out very well! These are virtually the first notes that spontaneously stand out without knowing the fragrance pyramid.

If I were to summarize head and heart note as a story, then elysium in the head and heart note would be a thyme-lemon-lavender lemonade like you can sometimes order in the summer at well-known restaurant chains on the limited edition menu. Unsweetened of course! For the decoration and garnish, the drink is spiked with a jasmine blossom. The straws are schlServed with ice cubes that have been covered with small peppercorns to give the unsweet drink a bit of a kick. :)

The drydown brings the biggest surprise for me! Elysium is at its very best in the drydown and I can't stop smelling my wrist. So beautiful.
To give the lemonade even more kick, the plastic straw is replaced by a noble and high-quality sturdy straw made of leather. The leather straw brings boozy woody notes (especially benzoin) in the drink. Next Level!
Also, a real bourbon vanilla pod is freshly scraped out and put pure into the drink. A supposed sweetness resonates without the drink was sweetened at all ... the vanilla bourbon bean smells just so to bite and authentic that supposed sweet notes are to be guessed and no cheap added sugar are needed.

I really have to say. Next to lost cherry and aventus, this is one of my TOP favorites for men so far.
It smells sooooo appealing! I get already head hurts because I can not stop to inhale deeply. :D Recommendation to you men!
With elysium man smells clean & well-groomed, noble and successful.
Sexy! :)
