I had given a 6 to the scent after the first try, but I am updating it to 8.

The opening has a pleasant pear scent, at least on paper, and hope that also in your skin. Unfortunately not on mine. On me smells in an strange way, I can not describe it, I am afraid that my ph degrades the accord.

After that the heart notes show up, a nice combination of iris and lavender that makes it very pleasant.

What it is outstanding is that 20 hours later I can still feel some traces of it on my arms if I apply the nose on it. I don´t mean that the sillage last 20 hours, no; it´s just that there are some traces, but this smell is magical, it makes me feel so relaxed. It´s a light vanilla on skin.

Perfect for enjoying yourself at home in rainy days. Definitely the fragrance for Autumn.

The opening is delicious, it smells clean and pure, like fresh air; certainly the mix of neroli with citrus is great.

After the opening becomes soapy, a good soap though, but I don´t like to smell like a soap bar, so ... not for me.

I absolutely love the opening, a mix of lemon and mandarin, here is 9.5 for citrus lovers.

But after that the smell becomes quite artificial and rather unpleasant, like dish-cleaner.

Nothing special about longevity or sillage, anyway if it fails in the smell you don´t want it to last.

At this point everybody knows that VL is a clon of Aventus.

I´ll simply add that the opening is slightly bitter, VL doesn´t have the pineapple and apple that Aventus has, and counterbalance the bergamot. Anyway it´s just a tiny touch of bitterness, the scent is really similar to Aventus.

This is a perfume marketed by a supermarket chain, but its aroma is amazing. I have tried circa 20 perfumes sold under the supermarket brands and this was the only one I liked, but absolutelly love it.

The manufacturer doesn´t provide the aromatic notes, but they seem to be:
- Top: grapefruit, lavender, wood
- Heart: iris, white woods
- Base: Tonka bean, iris, cedarwood, ambar

This is the perfect definition of aromatic wood, actually could be called Iris Wood, it´s a catchy name and depicts an accurate picture of it, wood scented with iris and ambar.

Longevity on skin is very long, 8-10 hours, though projecting is very short, like 2-3 hours, the typical in soft and mild fragrances. Sillage is also mild and not intrusive.

Some people say that it vaguely resembles to Dior Homme in the opening and Gentleman by Givenchy in the drydown. It has some similarity, yes, but it is far from being a clon, in this fragrance the wood scent is very present all the way down. Let´s say that they share the style.

The price is ridiculous, 9.50€ the pack of 100 ml. + 20 ml. + shower gel.
