How long have I been looking for HIM - the perfect vanilla scent.
Last winter I found it with "Eau Duelle".

Where "perfect" is of course a big word.
Specifying I would have to add: Perfect for me and my skin, perfect for everyday life in the cooler season, perfect for my love of spicy-warm fragrances with a special twist.

When I spray on "Eau Duelle", I immediately see a certain image in front of me: that of a lightly snow-covered coniferous forest at dusk.

The air is fresh, you can clearly smell the resin of the trees.
Not far away is a cabin that we rented over the weekend, and in which we have already stacked wood in the fireplace before the evening walk.
One last look at the quiet winter world - then we slowly go back.
Warm light falls from the windows, everything looks inviting.
The quickly lit fire in the fireplace spreads a pleasant smoky note.
It mixes with the scent of a real vanilla bean, with which we refine our wine mulled wine.

This fragrance image evokes a lively feeling of comfort and security in me, which I like to have around me every day in cold temperatures.

"Eau Duelle" is a transparent and at the same time present fragrance.
One with power without being overwhelming.
The sillage of the eau de toilette is rather subtle, which makes it absolutely suitable for everyday use.
I myself take the fragrance on me about six hours was.

But when I come home in the evening, and cuddle up with a tea and a good book in the comfortable wing chair, I often add two sprays - and start the evening with a mental excursion into my familiar winter forest!

"Come a little bit closer, you're my kind of guy."
...I want to hum softly when I spray on this beautiful gourmand fragrance.

The first impression is important, as you know - and in this case decidedly interesting.
Warm and spicy. A globetrotter, which certainly has a lot to tell.

He blows directly at the beginning of a pleasant diffuse fruit note - not sour, but sweet and somewhat dusty. A high-quality dried stone fruit, which may have found its way from a Silk Road bazaar in the cool Europe, but still carries a little sun and especially just a lot of sweetness in it.

The more time you spend together, the more the fascination grows.
The globetrotter proves to be a conversationalist with depth!

Bitter chocolatey patchouli notes and freshly beaten cedar mingle with the sweetness of the first impression. And although I'm not really a friend of smoking: In this case, the scent of the bright tobacco of his nonchalant cigarettes thrown on the table adds to the magic of the encounter.

Only after about 7 hours we slowly say goodbye to each other.
As I walk home through the evening streets, I still perceive a touch of warmth and the sweet spice of tonka bean around me.

What an enriching encounter!

"Long lasting summer fragrance"...under this catchphrase I went in search in the spring.

I have found Wulong Cha of the wonderful house Nishane. It must be said that I am a decidedly difficult "Freshie" customer - because until now I have always made a big bow around citrus fragrances. Too often I perceived a pungent cologne character in the test sniffing and then just could not find myself in them so at all.
But THIS candidate: That's my cup of tea! ;)

The citrusy notes are combined here with a very fine green or perhaps even the more noble white tea. Yes, there are similarities with well-known tea fragrance classics - but Nishane raises this composition there to a new level.
In the fresh citrus and tart tea notes mixes namely also a subtle woodiness (like freshly sharpened pencils) and to my great delight a very fine floral component.

In my mind's eye, the image of a shapely glass teapot arises, in which a just opening tea blossom drifts...

In the middle of a ball of tea leaves is hidden a flower that slowly opens when you pour hot water on the ball.

Exactly the same feeling of fascination and quiet observant contemplation Wulong Cha awakens in me. A fragrance that refreshes and soothes at the same time - and which unfolds more and more beautiful, the more time you give it. And you have that time. Because the fragrance in extrait-de-parfum concentration actually accompanies me full 8 hours, with discreet but still perceptible sillage.

Wonderful!

I bought "Jardin sur la Lagune" on the spur of the moment before our summer vacation.

Actually, I'm not the type for impulse purchases with fragrances - but what wafted me here from the bottle, put me in the holiday mood before we had even arrived at our destination.

In fact, I had been on the lookout for a nice salty-aquatic yet floral scent for quite some time.
In the case of "Jardin sur la Lagune", this feat has been very successful for my nose!
I sniff out gentle white flowers, subtle greenery, dry wood and - very prominent but still not biting - sea saltiness.
The overall impression is surprisingly warm and "spicy" in a diffuse way.

Unlike the other fragrances in the Jardin series (I also own and love Un Jardin sur le Toit), Lagoon Garden has no fruity or tart-fresh hints for me.
However, I don't feel this is a negative in any way, but a welcome addition to a wonderful series.

And one thing connects "Un Jardin sur la Lagune" then but with its siblings: Although it is an eau-de-toilette concentration, the fragrance holds on my skin fantastic!
He accompanies me about 6-7 hours and is also perceived by my (very critical) environment quite long and positive. :)

All in all: I am very happy to be able to include such a beautiful summer fragrance in my collection!
