A very pleasant surprise
It was... It is the first perfume of the brand that I try and it exceeded my expectations.

The first thing I smell is a sweet and delicious orange, which leads into bitter orange, incense and benzoin as it progresses, with bitter orange and incense being the predominant notes on my skin. On the dry down, I detect a certain aroma of pipe tobacco. It seems very elegant and has something magical that I can't place. Absolutely unisex, although perhaps a tad more masculine, ideal for autumn and winter.

Projection and duration are surprisingly good which gives it a very good value for money. Some comment that it is a dupe of Halfeti from Penhaligon's. I can not say anything about this, since I do not know Halfeti, but if it's true, I definitely have to try it....

A fragrance from the islands of eternal springtime
In the fragrance pyramid is missing rum as a base note, which together with the vanilla play a major role in the fragrance.

The fragrance opens somewhat sweet by the orange with a soft white moss, shortly after comes the heart of white flowers. The Madagascar vanilla soon becomes noticeable and you can smell its excellent quality. It harmonizes perfectly with the woods and the white flowers. The dominant base notes are vanilla and rum with a slightly smoky touch that comes from the incense.

The scent is certainly a crowdpleaser. In my opinion, the scent goes in a feminine direction and can be enjoyed year round.

I was introduced to the fragrance on my last visit to Gran Canaria. La Casa del Perfume Canario produces high quality perfumes at affordable prices. The company is run by the sixth generation of perfumers. A visit to their museum in Teror is definitely worth it!

Love at first sniff
Instant Crush is an oriental borderline gourmand fragrance. It is reminiscent of Sensual Instinct by Montale and Baccarat Rouge 540, but it is not a dupe. It has the same DNA, but with its own identity.

It opens a bit sweet and spicy through the saffron, which plays the leading role. I also perceive the ginger note, which makes it a bit spicy. The flowers are in the background, the woody chords become more dominant. In the Dry Down, the sandalwood, vanilla and saffron are most noticeable on my skin. The whole thing seems sweet, but not too sweet, woody, creamy and a bit spicy.

Compared with its close relative Baccarat Rouge 540, it is denser and less sweet, completely unisex. Sillage is immense, the environment perceives the fragrance, which is generally very well received. Just an instant crush. I would not recommend this fragrance to those who do not want to be noticed. The scent lasts extremely long. Suitable for autumn and winter, special situations and for those who are going out

Similar to Baccarat Rouge 540, it's about love or hate. Although I prefer Baccarat Rouge 540, I really like instant crush.

But still...
It's true, it's nothing new. It's true that I've smelled something similar, and yet... still, there's something addictive about that perfume

It is not my favorite of Maison Francis Kurkdjian, but I keep returning to it and it is one of the ones I use most.

Thanks to the coriander seeds it opens spicy and a little flowery. Vanilla gains strength and becomes the main note in the Dry Down, accompanied by amber and musk. It remains sweet and gourmand, but light enough for everyday use.

Sillage is moderate, the scent envelops you like a cloud. It can be worn all year round, so it is also very well suited as a signature fragrance. A must try for the vanilla lovers!

I said YES
Rehab is a perfume extract and consists of natural ingredients. It is the first fragrance in the hedonistic line of Initio Parfums and a true pleasure for the senses. It is a modern interpretation of the Fougèren perfumes and is completely unisex.

Its name and the white bottle define very well the clean and pure character of the fragrance, which distinguishes it from all tobacco scents I know. Rehab opens fresh and aromatic thanks to bergamot and lavender, a cherry note is also perceived and soon it becomes sweeter and creamier. Lavender and sandalwood are the predominant notes on my skin, with tobacco, vanilla and musk in the background. The perfect conjugation of the scents creates a spicy, sweet, creamy and sexy fragrance without losing its clean and soothing character.

The scent is noticeable without being invasive. Its durability is above average. I would wear it in all seasons, even in spring and on cool summer nights it can work very well. But most of all I enjoy it in rainy autumn afternoons at home, watching the rain outside the window, relaxing and enjoying little hedonistic pleasures like rehab.
