Since I tried Layton Exclusif before Layton, I bridle the horse from behind and would say that Layton can be described as the more cultivated, tamed and absolutely majority-capable version of the even PS-stronger Exclusif version.

Oud and Zibet, the elements that give Exclusif edge and masculinity, but are at the same time the only thing that some might find disreputable, do not occur in high school horses. At first I thought to myself "is this the perfect scent, is this a ten?", the only thing that finally made me deduct half a point is the quite intense sweetness, which in my opinion already prevents Herod from approaching perfection. The fruit sweetness is given a certain lightness by floral components, so that it rather floats through the air instead of hanging in it and the spicy wood notes together with pepper and cardamom make an equal antagonist to the sweetness, but the fragrance might be a little bit less sweet for me, then it would be PERFEKT!

The fragrance is of course a performance monster, lasts easily 10 hours and is very perceptible, 2 to 3 splashes are enough if you don't want to take the breath away from less perfume-enthusiastic people. All in all Layton is a very round thing and will go down well with most women and will definitely not look everyday, only ladies who only appreciate light, sporty, shower gel-like perfumes might be less enthusiastic.

In my opinion:
this perfume is one of the few fragrances that contain oud, which can cause a reaction alla "woah that smells but good" even from unstressed noses - at least from half an arm's length away. Although the oud and the animal-sweaty civet are perceptible, they are so skilfully wrapped in floral, watery and citric (bergamot) scents that the fragrance does not strike others down, seems raw masculine, or evokes a nose-shaped reaction often observed in oud fragrances, but conveys a herb-muscular, yet pleasant note with floral sophistication. Radiance of male dominance in the most elegant way, guaranteed.

Of course, neither Oud nor Zibet will cause described reactions in perfumers, but let's not forget that most normal people out there would be overwhelmed.

Even if this niche fragrance is quite generally compatible, I think the wearer should be at least in his mid-20s, as this fragrance, which presents itself more and more orientally throughout the day, wants to be supported in its credibility. One or two splashes are quite enough, at least if you don't want to inhale it for yourself in a quiet room, Layton Exclusif is highly concentrated. Sillage Hammer, durability Hammer, I still smell him the next day, in the disco he slaughters sweat, smoke and other scents mercilessly down. I think it smells great and unique and will still please a lot of people, let a little beard stand and be self-confident, then this perfume can take you further with the ladies.

This fragrance activates the synapses before it reaches the taste nerves, it is almost more an association than a decorative olfactory accessory, with every cloud sloshing opulently into your face leaving leather, snaps and, elegantly embedding the whole fine spice notes (cardamom), a clear statement: in front of you stands a man who does what he wants, knows who he is, who is free of all bourgeoisness and who takes sexuality for granted. From a woman's perspective and in the right environment (bar, disco, pub, dancefloor) a quite attractive picture. In addition to the mentioned scents there is a harsh male note, I don't want to say sweat, but some kind of physical smell. The durability is unfortunately not so solid, I recommend to spray several times on the same place, this slows down the evaporation in my experience clearly. No pink shirt, no suit, leather jacket or black T-shirt is trendy here.

It is green, it is aquatic, too, so the theme green coast has been hit, but it is not green-wet-earthy like the coast of Ireland, but smells much more like an Atlantic coast on the Iberian peninsula in spring on a sunny day. A very pleasant, clean and refreshing summer scent, which is also suitable as a night scent. The only thing that prevents me from giving a very high rating is my association with a high quality old soap, or a somewhat older shower gel, which is probably due to the age of this composition. Nevertheless, he has class, is in a good mood, radiates lightness and should not disturb anyone. But on the seducer scale he ranks in my opinion on the lower ranks, he is not mysterious, he is not strikingly masculine, he is also not warm inviting, or tasty, but could play out his potential, for example when dancing when you sweat and it is hot, who else will radiate with as much style, as much freshness as the wearer of Green Irish Tweed.

The first impression is that of fine leather, but not that of a new car, but rather that of a warm expensive leather couch in front of the fireplace. The scent is dark, strong but it does not jump into your face, but sneaks into your nose again and again at intervals. I cannot share the association with cold, wet, dead earth, for me the scent is warm and dry, noble, rich wood notes and warm earth, as in the Mediterranean summer under an olive tree form the back wheel and embed the leather gently. Very male, dominant by darkness and volume but quite elegant. The cuddling factor could well be present if the woman likes leather. Keeps 7 hours loose, I like it
