A classic, made better
Of course, time will tell how it will macerate in the bottle and if the current impression will stay, but after waiting for a month to get my delivery, I am very impressed and happy to have this bottle into my collection.

The Extraits are sometimes a copy paste, see Interlude 53 .. which apart from the beautiful design and the prestige to own it, it brings mostly nothing to the table vs the Interlude OG.

With Reflection 45 is a mixed feeling, I do enjoy more the EDP, but I like the strenght and the story of the extrait.

With Jubi XXV, after 5 bottles I gave up trying to find "the good one" .. it might well be that Amouage did not wante to have a monster performer with it but nobody was admitting to that.

Now with Jubi 40, it is another story .. the perfume oil is there, the similarity is there but .. it´s done for the current times, with a bit of boozy note from the Bay Rum I think? There is something youthful about it, quite playful which I enjoy very much.

With 4 sprays, I have a silage which was never present with the XXV, no matter how much I would spray .. so well done to the new formula!

Perfumery is subjective and there are many factors to keep into consideration when judging this scent, but for my amateur nose and my wallet .. it is the right choice and it is one of the best Amouages on the market.

Special enough for the asking price and friendly enough to be purchased by the wider public and not only the perfume addicts who love complex, thick, unusual scents.

It is a mystery for me why Amouage still asks for the 10€ shipping fees even if their bottles are premium priced and ... my package was without any love and care prepared, the scent and the sample were simpy thrown in the box, with ton of paper on top.

Apart from the price and the packaging, there is nothing premium in the ordering experience!

Okey, I know you from somewhere ..
It´s a well known fact that for the beauty world, "inspirations" from other creations are to be found all the time.

It is not a secret that this one, will punch way above it´s weight and price and pick a fight wih Chanel. Even more, this one will have extra power, silage and will not break the bank.

A bit too focused on Vetiver for my taste, but that´s about it "wrong" with it, otherwise it´s a stunner.

Thanks for watching !

The most alluring Iris ever
For me, Iris smell was always associated with lipstick .. DIOR Homme is to blame but also various other interpretations of Orris Root note.

In here, this must be the best kind of orris butter because it smells addictive, suave in the sense that I would love to smell it on a woman .. but not on myself. And no, it does not smell like lipstick.

The amount of naturals used is crazy, it keeps transforming and evolving up the last hours of longevity. For me, on the left wrist where I keep the watch, it lasted 24 hours.. as a mix between skin and watch band.

The price is not for us, the mortals .. but for the selected few which will get one of these bottles, it will be a scent to remember.

How can a lemon smell so good?
Of course, citrussy fragrances can start with "Kölnwasser" the so called Eau de Cologne with Neroli and Petitgrain and go up to the Guerlain Bergamot Fantastico .. both in longevity and price.

What can be said about this smell, it is quite unique but also familiar in the same time, the bergamot will steal the show, the petitgrain makes it stable and the amber keeps things cool.

Longevity about 16 hours, with one shower and many times washing the hands.

By no mean the price is for us, the mortals .. but for the selected few which will get one of these bottles, it will be a scent to remember.

One should not reinvent the wheel
The citrussy aromatic genre, maybe called barbershop, maybe called fougere .. is and will always be a loved manly scent, no matter how quick you discovered it or how young you are.

I must admit that when I was 20, I believed that Habit Rouge smells like an old man and even if I blind bought it, it was not a successful purchase.

The same happened with Nicolai, NY Intense .. I made the order before I had the chance to smell it and what a surprise was waiting for me .. It is performing like an Amouage and smells like an airy french barbershop scent.

The complexity is original to Nicolai, and even if it is similar to others from the market .. is by no mean a copy. I hope you will enjoy the video, thank you.
