Cocoa the short term boss in the ring....
I have received this fragrance as a sample enclosure and tested.
The fragrance begins briefly with a ginger note and is immediately replaced by the cocoa notes in the loud, dominant tone and beats brachial for the time being everything around him Dufttot. Hooray for fragrance noses that like cocoa notes, they get their money's worth here. After the cocoa has run riot, it steps back slightly exhausted and gives way to an initially moderate trace of fresh coffee grounds. The lavender bush has also noticed this and joins in. This harmonizes in the heart note with the taming of the cocoa, which repeatedly "tries" impulsively to tie in with the performance in the top note. Instead, it finds a new buddy in the drydown with some vetiver with which it gets along well and converses far more calmly with it on soft leather notes with hints of amber with a sweetish fruity undertone. The scent becomes subtle and body-tingling on me fairly quickly, which I would wear more in colder seasons. Durability with me 4-5 hours.
With women attracting effect. I personally do not like the cocoa note in general and try to rate neutral. I would have kicked it at the top note, but has developed surprisingly well for me until the drydown.

Selfish since early youth...
...I was about twelve when there was the first commercial on TV of this Chanel fragrance. Many well-dressed women kept shouting Egoiste and waiting for this man to make a scanty appearance and put a bottle on the parapet.... It was the time when my big sister had her first boyfriend in the early 90s. And she wanted to introduce me to him proudly and took me to meet him at his apartment. It was a guy without big words and he was more interested in my sister, her lips than in me, but he smelled exceptionally good. After much boredom, five lemonades and certainly ten comics later there on the spot, I discovered a bottle in the bathroom with him. Aha a Chanel Egoiste, times smell what he can, curiously pulled off the cap and sprayed a strong push on my upper body. Wahnsinnsduft, this spice and the woods, as well as the slightly fruity note with the recorded rose scent drew me immediately under his spell (at that time he smelled just so good without knowing what's inside ;), from this point he let me no longer loose. Always I ran with my young years in the perfumeries and used the favor of the hour around me with Chanel Egoiste to soak. A purchase was sadly a long way off as I lacked the wherewithal at twelve. Three years later, my love for Egoiste continued to burn unrestrictedly (in contrast, my big sister's love for her boyfriend at the time died out). At the age of fifteen I finally bought my own bottle from the proceeds of the newspaper delivery. It was my signature scent for a very long time. As many have already said, this fragrance is not for everyone and certainly not a true "comliment-getter". You either fall for it completely or find it off-putting. I can always wear it whether it suits the situation or not; selfishly so. I have had to buy so many new bottles to date that I have lost count of them in order to satisfy my craving for this fragrance (along with its reformulations), including Egoiste After Shave, of course. Now I leave the fragrance more often in the closet to give others a chance to assert themselves ;) The fragrance will always have a place of honor with me. For me this fragrance DNA is unique. A triple high on the perfumers. Definitely not a blind buy !!! Caution !!! , can make addicted for decades.

What a noble piece
After doing my favorite thing a while ago and looking for new impressions on Parfumo to make new "blind buys" I became aware of Proraso -Wood and Spice-. It is supposed to have a mild resemblance to Black Afgano. Unfortunately, I don't own the Nasomatto (yet) and have not been able to sniff it. Purchased it online for a reasonable price and held the good plain bottle in my hand. Well, I thought. the label was already times not centrally attached. No matter, if the inner values are right. I pumped a good spray on my wrist from the EDC. After a few minutes, this fragrance unfolded its secret and I was impressed and surprised by its spicy scent with pleasant woody notes. For an EDC, it lasts a good two hours on me until it dissipates (only downer,... it's forgiven). Silage well two meters and an incredible compliment getter unparalleled. Since it is a cheap EDC, one (s) can always add him as needed and need not worry that he -overdosed- becomes. In my opinion, an absolute blind purchase worth and have already given me a small stock of it. Many thanks to the entire Parfumo Comunity, otherwise this little masterpiece would probably have remained hidden from me...

Floral times dreamlike different
There he was... fresh in my hands, I opened the attractive packaging and was very taken with the bottle. This slightly angular shape and a medusa head framed in a relief, the well-known trademark of Versace. So far so good, the exterior fit
The first spray already impressed me with the intensity of the scent. First I smelled tarragon, paired with intense juniper, which shortly afterwards was gently wrapped by the iris and had a very calming effect. Then it becomes powdery floral with an interesting tobacco note. Everyday scent and suitable for the office. Never brutally loud and obtrusive, but always present. A fragrance that has its "right to exist" in the world of perfume. !!! Classic !!!!
Shelf life good 6 hours, silage above average.

A lot of smoke for nothing?! ...or is there another layer of scent...
What an announcement... Phillip Plein is bringing a sensation to the market with Alberto. I saw the ads in all the glossy magazines and I thought... and I thought it was gonna be a big hit. One of my favorite perfumers, with a Spanish temperament. He has so often captivated my nose with scents like Pi, M7 or Acqua di Gio. The fragrance was apparently too new, so my local house and yard dealer did not have it in stock as a tester. So I was all the more pleased to have a PDM Pegasus delivery with the longed-for sample as a "side dish". With joyful anticipation I pumped the first desired spray on my wrist,.... hmmm,..... aha Bergamot. Not bad,... then a complex interplay of several spices came pretty fast, which were beating wildly and every spice wanted to be the boss. The bergamot was mothballed long ago. The incense pressed itself with a leather chord in between and gathered with some wood notes. I find this scent unpleasant and rough. Escape reflexes are perceived by others. If you don't care about anything and don't attach importance to other people, I think you can buy this fragrance. Mr. Morillas, unfortunately I am not on the same wavelength with your latest fragrance, which you created. Perhaps I am not yet ready for this work and I still have to age a little to "enjoy" it. The children have compared the scent to a "dead camel's foot", and by the way, it has a very good shelf life, because it took me a long time to wash the scent off my skin. If you have high expectations, you might be deeply disappointed...
