Raspberry dream meets chocolate dream
I have been searching for what feels like an eternity for a perfume that can give me authentic chocolate. So far, unfortunately, without any success worth mentioning. Generally speaking, what my nose smells is just sweet with a slight hint of cocoa. So that's absolutely not what I mean and what I want, but if chocolate, then please do it properly. At some point, I became aware of Panah's perfumes and the name Pink Marc de Champagne Truffle made my mouth water, but past experience has taught me not to expect too much.

The world belongs to the brave, so I ordered the fragrance blind with a corresponding prayer to the perfume gods. And so at some point I was able to hold it in my hands and I was so excited. With respect and a large dose of skepticism, I took a very careful first spray on my wrist. And there it finally was, a dark, delicious and not too sweet authentic chocolate. It was almost as if I could not only smell it but also taste it in my mouth. No other perfume with chocolate notes has ever been able to give me this feeling. Great so far, but now the raspberry also wants to make an appearance.

I also find berry components in perfumes difficult. Again, I find these fragrance notes in most perfumes very artificial. They are either squeaky sweet or tart, but I rarely find them in an authentic way. Pink Marc de Champagne Truffle does everything right here too. The raspberry here is fresh, not too sweet or too sour and harmonizes wonderfully with the sooooo delicious chocolate. The great alcoholic note from the brandy also skillfully underlines and enhances the chocolate and raspberry. A soft, gentle rose lies fluffily soft over the entire course of the fragrance, but remains in the background and is not the main actor here

Overall, we have a great chocolaty and berry fragrance for around 8 to 10 hours, which never becomes too much or diminishes in its radiance. The silage is pleasant and can still be detected in the immediate vicinity of 1 to 2 meters. A wonderful perfume for spring and summer. Not too sweet and very refreshing despite the chocolate.

Who left the rum balls here?
Much has already been written about this fragrance and for fans of the fragrance direction vanilla, we have in my opinion here an absolute "must have. This wonderful vanilla, which can only be created by Guerlain in this mastery. So authentic in its most original form. But we will be a little more specific at this point.

Spiritueuse Double Vanille leaves one from the beginning no time to settle in. It goes right off and the vanilla puts itself already in the first minutes mighty in the stuff, although it is listed from the fragrance description, only in the base note and also the rum is immediately well perceptible. However, it is a soft rum liqueur that we have here. Very soft and gentle, it ensnares the vanilla and combines with all the other fragrance notes in a quite wonderful way. Of course, this is already very sweet. For many perhaps already too sweet, you have to like that. I can not now claim that all the other listed fragrance notes particularly push themselves into the foreground or are well perceivable for my olfactory sensation. The vanilla and rum are too overpowering here to give any floral components a chance. For me, they only intensify the incomparable scent of fresh rum balls. So there you want to immediately reach for the next bar of chocolate.

The durability is absolutely okay for me. On me and my skin, I can perceive Spititueuse Double Vanilla 8 hours and longer. Of course, this is also very much dependent on the temperature conditions. The warmer, the longer. On clothes, I can still perceive him the next day. I just love it. It is so simple with its vanilla and delicious rum. But that's enough for me completely and I always get little stars in my eyes when I can perceive him on myself.

So in conclusion, my absolute recommendation for gourmand and vanilla lovers. An absolute dream and a masterpiece of Guerlain. A fragrance to cuddle up and feel good. A warm blanket in the bottle for all who need one.

A vanilla dream says goodbye!
After I became aware of the new release of this Shalimar sister through Parfumo, I have literally searched the Internet detective, where the possibility exists to purchase this fragrance. I was completely over the moon. A Shalimar without civet and this strong resinous impact almost in the entire scent of the original Shalimar. Which is tolerated by me, but in am not a fan of it. I was so sure I wouldn't go wrong here at all and maybe I would have finally found it my ultimate vanilla perfume. As the creator of that delicious vanilla tincture that forms the basis of Shalimar, a blind buy surely and one hundred percent couldn't go wrong. So to play it safe, I ordered it directly from Guerlain and couldn't wait to hold the fragrance in my hands.

For all those who may be a bit reluctant to order directly in France. So as fast as this delivery was, I have rarely received an online order from Germany. I ordered the fragrance on Tuesday and on Thursday already got delivered.

But let's get to the fragrance description. Already at the beginning, before you can still assign any fragrance nuances, you become aware of the low silage. So what is gladly described as skin-tight, is here more than applicable. We have a light and almost delicate vanilla that comes naturally and with only subtle sweetness. The smoke that is perceived a little later is also just a hint of a distant fire. Soon, however, this impression is gone again and it remains this wonderful and almost innocent vanilla, which can unfold in full beauty without any disturbing accessory.

Conclusion: what good is such a wonderful fragrance, if you have to re-spray felt every 3 hours, because it is almost completely disappeared into the fragrance nirvana? So I will use it in my spare time or when I want to smell a nice scent in the evening on my couch to enjoy my end of work. For vanilla fans an absolute dream, but unfortunately a short-lived joy.

Lavender and vanilla. Love forever!
Shalimar. It's really hard to stay objective with such an incredible legend. What has not already been said and written everything. Praise without equal and in my opinion also rightly. There are the perfumes of Guerlain and then come all the others. So many great scents and fragrances, but there is always something special and fabulous about the perfumes of this brand. Each new fragrance announcement is eagerly anticipated and then the hunt is on. Where can I grab a sample or bottling? When can I finally test it?

It was similar with Shalimar Philtre. And then it was finally there and everyone who wanted could let his nose glide over this fragrance. I must confess at first I was not very excited or impressed. Philtre starts with the so typical citrus notes of Shalimar, but here the resinous impact of the original Shalimar is completely missing. A little later, a beautiful and gentle lavender note arrives and very definitely pushes everything citrusy to the side. Together with other floral components, it remains a very soft and cuddly scent. Lavender clearly leads the way here and all the others just follow. Now the much loved vanilla slowly comes into play. A vanilla that only Guerlain can conceive in this way. So that it doesn't get too sweet at this point in the fragrance's progression, patchouli is now also allowed to come to the fore and gives the vanilla a bit of a rein. The silage is good, but not overpowering and we have here a lavender and vanilla dream, which nestles well to the wearer for about 8 hours.

So much for my very subjective scent impression. I found him now quite okay, but so right asterisks in the eyes I had now not. So he wandered first of all on the waiting position in the far corner of my perfume cabinet. At some point it caught my eye again and I felt like giving it another chance and then it had me. I was quite taken with this soft lavender note and then this incredible delicate vanilla. Then they were suddenly there, quite a lot of little stars in the eyes and until today they come with Philtre also again and again.

Conclusion: lavender you have to really like here now, otherwise Philtre is not the right choice. But then this Shalimar Flanker can take you to France to a sunny lavender field. This is a fragrance that can be worn anywhere, anytime. Noble, elegant and lovely, it will envelop you and accompany you

A date tree in the desert!
If you look at the scent progression of Kashnoir, you could imagine many things as a fragrance impression. However, I was then surprised that this fragrance is to be classified for me absolutely in the oriental direction. Honestly, I hesitated for a long time to acquire this fragrance, because here my absolute fear opponent in the scent course appears and that is coriander. I find this scent component in a perfume just plain awful. Coriander simply belongs in the kitchen and not in a fragrant perfume.

Unfortunately, I must say at this point that the top note does not start very promising, as the coriander already more than dominantly pushes itself forward. This leaves the citrus notes and the lavender little room to develop. Fortunately, after about 30 minutes, the coriander moves to the background and Kashnoir becomes sweeter and gentler. The rose fights here bravely with heliotrope and vanilla, so as not to drive the fragrance too much in the tart direction, because there lurks still the coriander and also the patchouli with its earthy scent impression do not give up so quickly.

Although not listed in the scent history, remains for me the impression after many freshly picked dates that have fallen on the ground and are waiting to be picked up and eaten. That's the only advantage I can give the coriander here, it keeps the sugary sweetness in check and doesn't let this perfume degenerate into a calorie-laden dessert.

Verdict: Because I find this herbaceous undertone in Kashnoir to be very difficult, you should not make a blind purchase. Here you must first sniff a while and then decide whether you want to wear this fragrance composition. He holds at summer temperatures loosely 8 - 10 hours through.
