Gentle snuggler!
A beautiful and gentle fragrance. A fragrance that doesn't scream out loud: Here I am. In the course of the fragrance comes first jasmine, but not as with many other perfumes that I have tested so far so terribly overdosed, but in a lovely way. Instead, the orange blossom is more noticeable, but again, you don't get the floral bouquet smacked around your nose. It gently snuggles up to the jasmine and smells very lovely. By the way, the jonquille mentioned in the fragrance is nothing but another name for daffodil. So here we have a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Not even the mimosa can spoil anything. After a while, the dream duo of so many perfumes, benzoin and vanilla, finally enters the big stage of fragrance development. The fragrance would probably drift into bubblegum sweetness now if sandalwood didn't hold the reins here and prevent this drift into sugar shock. Despite the yet rather delicate and for me powdery seeming fragrance components, we have here a nice durability of about 12 hours and a silage, which is quite neat.

Finally, it should be said, as the company Caron has a long tradition in perfume production to show, one notices here very clearly the quality of the fragrances used. In my experience, the range here from perfume to perfume is very large. Vanilla is there from the valence not always equal to vanilla.

Conclusion: A fragrance that I classify as a prime example of an elegant perfume. Always and always wearable and to almost all occasions the right choice. A Seelentröster, which conjures up a smile and we can all use at the moment but good.

Plum cake with cinnamon!
Freshly baked and sprinkled with powdered sugar. First of all, sit down and make yourselves comfortable. Just a minute. Cup of coffee coming up. Now, let me tell you about Ambre Eccentrico. Truly a pretty name, but plum cake deluxe would have been more appropriate here. The scent starts a bit restrained and very cinnamony. Very warm underpinned by a beautiful amber note. Before the whole thing can drift in the direction of rice pudding with cinnamon, patchouli looks over and tames the sweetness a bit. Now is the time when the plum note (Prunol) really picks up speed and until the end of this coffee ride with plum cake remains so.

We have here quite a space silage and a loooong staying power of the fragrance development of about 10 - 12 hours. One takes, so to speak, his environment with him into the bakery.

Conclusion: So a delicious dessert. So to speak a fragrance to bite. I would not wear it in the summer, there he does not fit in my opinion and otherwise you would send his environment in the fragrance coma. Plum cake in the summer does not have to be. Otherwise, my recommendation for any occasion. A unisex perfume for all.

Woody vanilla or spicy vanilla? Definitely vanilla!
Vanilla, vanilla and always vanilla. It is fascinating in what variety of variants it can come under our nose. The palette ranges from sugary sweet to bitter woody. And we are already on the subject, because with Vanilla Planifolia (strange name?!) we have here a spicy to bitter vanilla and that from the first minute to the end of the fragrance development. There is nothing lovely floral or deliciously fruity here. Plain and simple a simple and straightforward fragrance. Since vanilla always remains vanilla and never hides shyly, we have a decent silage here that doesn't get expansive. Tested at cold temperatures, the fragrance holds out so about 6 - 7 hours.

For me, an ideal candidate to layern with other fragrances. So you can certainly tone down a very sweet perfume in its fragrance perception and gets a tamed fragrance bouquet.

Just imagined what probably happens fragrance-wise when you layer Vanilla planifolia with Baccarat Rouge 540. Probably you get a fragrance atom bomb of unimaginable proportions. I must test that sometime.

Conclusion: this woody vanilla is already very special and all those who are looking for a lovely fragrance will be disappointed here. But in fact, I can imagine this perfume also good on a man. Thus, we have here a perfume that belongs for me absolutely in the category unisex.

There's Ruby, but he's got a lot of attitude
Rubinia is a perfume from Bulgari and they have their core competence rather in the design of jewelry. But don't be prejudiced and let the nose decide what we have in front of us.

Appropriately for the time of year, it starts off citric with tangerines and a slight bitter note as well as the association of Christmas. Mandarins and Christmas. The two simply belong together for me, like snow and winter. And we have tangerines here. Delicious, ripe and freshly peeled, they are ready to eat. This is how the beginning of Rubinia begins in combination with a slight bitterness of copaiba balsam. Kopaiva is a tree resin, which is extracted from the wood of South American trees and is very similar to the scent of amber. I would like to describe it as a bitter wood from a fragrance point of view. As you can imagine, this scent harmonizes very well with the sandalwood. Whereby here the sandalwood makes the whole thing look a bit creamier and softer. If this would not be the case we would have Campari Orange to spray. In the end, the little tonka bean doesn't want to leave the scene of the action without properly turning the scent development and gets really involved once again. For it we are then rewarded at the end with a tasty almond ice cream with mandarins and cream.

Before we come to the end, we should not forget to mention the exceptionally beautiful bottle. Here you get a jewel in the truest sense of the word. Deep wine red is framed by golden elements and then merges into a deep black bottle. That makes something special in every perfume cabinet

Conclusion: So if you can prevent your head from constantly resisting the impulse to want to lick your wrist, you can snuggle into a sweet and soft orange-almond scent and dream of Christmas in the glittering snow.

Cinnamon stars in amber sky!
My signature fragrance and my absolute number 1 for different reasons. I am, was and probably always will be an absolute fan of sweet scents. But especially in this extreme fragrance range, balanced perfumes are hard to find. Here, most of the fragrances in the dessert direction are more in the direction of chemical mace and chewing gum sweetness. Grand Soir shows that it can be done differently. Here the otherwise very heavy and diabetic unsuitable fragrance components tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin from amber with its earthy scent, are nicely kept in check and restrained. Of course there is still a sweetness, but as if someone had just baked cinnamon stars and put them in the window to cool them down

And we've already come to the hard facts. Once sprayed on, you can not only enjoy this fragrance alone, but also the near and far surroundings are generously integrated. Grand Soir does not take prisoners here and spreads out extensively. One actually floats the whole day in a cinnamon vanilla cloud and I have absolutely no pity for my surroundings here. My fellow men have to go through that. A silage in the same league as the Extrait of Baccarat Rouge 540 and beyond that the scent lasts for 12 - 16 hours and that even with only 2 careful sprays

Conclusion: I actually only don't wear the fragrance in summer, otherwise I would only attract the bees. On all other days of the year I like to go to Grand Soir. For me it's a constant and the right choice during the day and in the evening. My recommendation for all foodies and cookie fans.
