Citric indeed.
My prescribers have already mentioned it several times. Citrus notes in various nuances play a very important role here. Slightly exaggerated, you might say: Something from the good old refreshment towels. ;-)
But that's not a bad thing in itself. I like this quite well as "refreshment" in summer.
Oldschool yes, as far as one would like to use this term for fragrances that are not in line with the current trend but have remained on the market for a long time. You have to do that first.
Now I don't write any more about the fragrance or its course. Others have already done this sufficiently and also well.
When I sprayed it on for the first time I had to draw a parallel to another fragrance in my assortment.
I can't make a comparison with the current Eau Sauvage now. Very well, but with Putting Green from Omerta and according to some perfumers it should come very close to the original Eau Sauvage.
The opening is actually the same for both of them. So after about 20 minutes I can see a slight difference in a direct comparison (left hand - right hand). I like Capucci a little bit better. Smells more pleasant, less synthetic.
Without this AB comparison it would probably be very difficult for me to keep these two fragrances apart. This may not be the case for others but for me these are actually "true" scent twins.
In other words, whoever has one really doesn't need the other.

So yummy.
It's been a while since I had Allure Homme. And I have to admit, back then it didn't really knock me out of my shoes.
But this "M" here is the absolute hammer. The relationship to Allure can definitely not be denied. But it smells even better to me. Softer, more pleasant, tastier etc.....
Not to mention the ridiculous price you pay for it. Total class.
And I was very reluctant at first whether I should treat myself to this blind purchase. Thank God I did. It remains in the collection and will be bought again if necessary.

Pure Synthetics
Since the smell comes away so well here in previous comments, I thought to myself, you try it out.
So today I went to the drugstore I trust and generously sprayed the Legacy Private Edition on the back of my hand.
Oh dear, what is this? An absolutely sharp artificially smelling cloud rose into my nose. Ronaldo is not my favourite footballer now but to be the godfather for this Plörre......
I'm afraid this isn't going to get any better. From the plastic coffee to the finally pungent smelling artificial wood note I can report nothing positive.
It is a mystery to me, how my "previous speakers" could come to their evaluations. Even if you consider "every nose is different".
But everyone according to his taste.
For me an absolute No Go, which I could test thank God and did not buy blind.

Addendum: Rochas Man is miles superior here
