Rosy Terre d'Hermes?
Very bright, fresh ginger and citrus in the opening. Maybe a bit floral, but it's not as rosy as I expected. The rose comes in more as it dries down, though, in addition to a prominent apple note and a hint of woods. Becomes a rosy vetiver in the deep drydown. It's okay, I don't love it. Versatile, all-occasions fragrance IMO, similar vibes as Terre d'Hermes EDT with its balance of fresh and mature accords. Performance off my skin is kinda subpar with 2-3hr weak projection, 5-6hr longevity.

Synthetic Mess Becomes Choco-Vanilla Gourmand
Opening is an extremely dense and creamy cocoa butter on my nose. There are sweet facets, more chocolate and less vanilla, swirling about but they're dominated by the lotion-like (perhaps waxy as some describe) cocoa butter. It also has quite an alcoholic edge, and I say "alcohol" because it's less a nice boozy beverage and more that nose-searing chemical sharpness, which takes 30min+ to fully morph into a sort of nondescript woods.

As it dries down further, the woods take over the "butter" and the choco-vanilla aspects strengthen, with the balance slowly creeping toward more vanilla. It's very pleasant and gourmand once it reaches this point. Intimate initial scent bubble, or perhaps overwhelming noseblindness, but projects quite powerfully in the 1-3hr range. Projects for 3-4hr with 12hr+ longevity as a skin scent, though it's hardly distinguishable from my natural body smell after ~8hr.

Masculine Hypnotic Poison
Bright, creamy almond opening, very slightly floral. Becomes increasingly powdery and vanillic as it dries down, with a licorice-like bite courtesy of the lavender that I presume is what a lot of people perceive as "metallic." Weak projection for 3-4hr, but 12hr+ longevity. Kinda reminds me of a more refined Armani Code Absolu, which is a powdery vanilla bomb I also love, and actually smells extremely similar to Dior Hypnotic Poison. This is a slightly less sweet/feminine version of DHP.

Boozy Vanilla Goodness
To me, this is everything Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille should have been. This is smoother and boozier, plus SDV performs about as poor as a fragrance can possibly get and is grossly expensive. Performance here is passable.

Strongly boozy vanilla with a gentle splash of citrus on top and the faintest hint of creamy-yet-powdery sandalwood beneath, all elevated by an airy jasmine. The jasmine blooms over time and, for better or worse, eventually becomes the dominant accord deep in the drydown. I like jasmine, but I'm not sure how I feel about it taking over everything else over time because the boozy vanilla is what I came for. Oh well. Moderate-soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 5-6hr.

Dirty, Masculine BR540
Dirty BR540 of sorts, it's a sweet saffron laid over a woody accord. But the saffron here is very dense, more reminiscent of BR540 Extrait than the EDP with its heaviness, plus there's no hedione/jasmine to lighten it and lend OFG that signature "transparency" BR540 is known for. And instead of a fresh cedar, OFG features oud. The oud doesn't come across as "barnyard" as it's infamous for, but it does have a very earthy tinge to it, like a tree that was ripped from the ground and you're smelling the roots still covered in soil.

What OFG uniquely adds to the formula is the nutmeg. It lends a subtle warm spiciness that pushes this fragrance toward being slightly masculine, where BR540 leans feminine to my nose. Projection off my skin is surprisingly moderate for ~2hr, maybe faintly detectable for longer, but longevity as a skin scent is extreme, over 24 hours. Would not recommend in high heat, very cloying.
