Sol de Janeiro has NEVER disappointed me
Cheirosa 59 is now my 5th Sol de Janeiro Body Mist and this time it was again a blind buy and I was not disappointed again!

Here, vanilla and sandalwood, both of which are already quite warm and strong, meet a floral accent that is shyly interspersed with something fruity (only comes after a while).
Means vanilla and sandalwood are very present right from the start and, strangely enough, what is described in the top note only develops over time.
Vanilla then also fades and the sandalwood dominates in any case.

It does not smell obtrusive, but perceptible and envelops you in a well-combined cloud.
Smells neither artificial nor "acrid".

Unfortunately, I can't agree with some of the comments about the longevity, for me it lasts quite long on the skin and also in my hair.
Well, we don't need to say much about the bottle, it's not a masterpiece.

Unjustly my "toilet perfume"
What else do you want to write about such a polarizing perfume.

I actually wanted to give the perfume to my dad for Father's Day and guilty, of course I wanted to get a taste of it first..

It smells fresh, tart, citrusy and tingles a little in the nose.
It somehow reflects the dark, blue color of the bottle very well.

Long story short... It was a bit too masculine for me to wear myself, but I didn't want to give it away either :D Sorry Dad!

Since then it's been in my bathroom and every now and then I just spray it in the air and enjoy the freshness in my surroundings.

The bottle or rather the lid is very high quality, as it contains a magnet which allows it to open and close quickly and smoothly.
I can't say much about the durability as I haven't worn it on my skin yet, but my bathroom/toilet smells quite long-lasting.

Warm almond milk with honey
I became aware of the perfume through the brand's accompanying shower gel.
(the shower gel actually lasts quite long on my skin)
But watch out! The perfume can leave you speechless the first time you spray it.

Byzantium is a very warm, full perfume. Rich almond, with honey and cinnamon.
A cozy fragrance for the cold season. I like to float around in a sweet, warm cloud of fragrance :)
Three sprays are enough for me as it is really strong.

The bottle is made of metal and not exactly high quality, but the beautiful mosaic design makes up for it.
The price-performance ratio is really top here!

Byzantium reminds me of P1 Careful Hot, which also contains almond, heliotrope and white musk.

Dark, "dirty" vanilla
I don't particularly like vanilla, it's usually too sweet for me, then too synthetic or too intrusive.

Here, however, Guerlain has unpacked a different kind of vanilla.
This is a dark, mystical and yes, somehow "dirty" vanilla.
It doesn't scream "Here I am, sweet thing", but that would be the femme fatale who sits in the background in the bar and still stands out.
For me, a fragrance for the colder, darker season.

The fruity, green notes are the prelude here, but quickly evaporate and what remains is a deep, noble, smoky vanilla note wrapped in honey.

The perfume reminds me strongly of Secrets d'Essences - Vanille Noire by Yves Rocher.

Incredibly good in terms of longevity.
I tested the perfume on my wrist and even after showering it was still slightly perceptible.

It is not unisex for me, I would like to see a leather component to it.
