Lemon wedges
I came to Poopoo Pidoo more by chance. I got it as a top-off with less than a quarter content to a different scent. The Ego Facto brand was completely unknown to me until then. Well, you don't look a gift horse in the mouth, so I tested it without prejudice. And now the remaining bottle is almost empty.

He doesn't seem to be getting away very well, but I think he's good. My impression about Poopoo Pidoo:

It starts with soft citric notes, rather mild, not sour. He has a slightly vanilla undertone, one might think, only very delicate. This could be due to the amber, because vanilla is not in the fragrance pyramid here. At the same time it has something slightly powdery about it, which makes me think of the rice flour. I have to think of lemon tarts or slice with a little cream. Refreshingly citric and at the same time creamy, slightly powdery. Very pleasant the whole!
He doesn't change much. The base is soft and balsamic. The durability is now not so great with a maximum of four hours, but you can add more. In any case, the fragrance is suitable for everyday use and can be worn at work during the day. You smell pleasant and don't disturb anyone.

It reminds me a little of Emeraude as EdC and Eau de Shalimar. A thoroughly successful fragrance!
There really are worse ones. So you can wear it as an "everyday substitute" for the beautiful Emeraude, if you have desires for Emeraude, but want to save with the noble and rare Coty fragrance.

Happily refreshing rose
I actually bought Quelques Notes d`Amour EdT because of the kitschy golden special flacon, blind again. I had the EdP before for a while, but it is much heavier and more substantial than the EdT. In the meantime I have worn it often enough to be able to say a few words about the EdT.
Pyramid says there's not much inside. But it's modern to create fragrances from just a few ingredients. The times of lush and complex fragrance pyramids are probably finally over. But thank God I have enough vintages at home...

This quite simply knitted fragrance starts off again with a good portion of cedar, which gives the fragrance a peppery tangyness. The rose is a rather sweet one, just in the frame for me. At higher temperatures, the fragrance would take on even more sweetness. Too much for me. I also prefer to wear this scent in winter or spring, because it doesn't develop so much sweetness then. The currant I take now was not so strong. Probably because the cedar on my skin is always very interspersed. Finally, Ambrettesamen gives the fragrance something like a soft, warm base. Durability and Sillage I would settle in the middle area, so about four hours I'd say.

The scent is not badly made, but not a great masterpiece either. But as an everyday scent, it always fits. I'll definitely use up the bottle. But will I buy it again? Time will tell.

Chloe EdP - clean, pure rose
I got Chloe EdP some years ago from my mother to comfort me when I wasn't doing so well because of the separation of my ex-husband.
My dear mother wanted to cheer me up a little. And since she knew that I love rose fragrances, she gave me this fragrance in a sweet "my little" bottle for Mother's Day. A Mother's Day present from my own mother to my daughter. I've never had that either.
Before that I already had the rosy-citric LÈau de Chloe at home, which I also like very much by the way.

Chloe EdP is a rose fragrance. But the scent of roses is not the same as the scent of roses. There are delicate, light, innocent roses, oriental-sweet-soothing roses, intense dirty roses with earth and spines, aldydic chypre roses and clean, freshly washed roses, of which I include Chloe EdP.
Chloe EdP is not very complex and rather a compact fragrance with few indigrences, as it is modern nowadays. Still I can smell a few notes out well.

At the very beginning I perceive the fruity touch of lychee, which pairs with some magnolia and immediately unites with the rose blossom. The rose appears strong and strong, pure and innocent. Chloe gives an overall clean impression with a very light soapiness, only very delicate. Here the cedar enters into a marriage with the lychee rose and strengthens the clean freshness even more. The fragrance appears almost perfectly balanced.
The Sillage is extremely good. Applied yesterday before bedtime, I still smell it in the morning after getting up.

Chloe EdP is a very well made rose fragrance that embodies the pure, innocent woman of today. I am thinking of a perfectly made-up, well dressed young lady (or older lady) who is well adapted and integrated into society. She's not a rebel who's on the mop. Somehow it fits the modern image of a woman who always has to be perfect.

I like the scent and find it very well made although I don't fit into this role model. But it doesn't matter, and I wear Chloe EdP once in a while, but not too often. Chloe EdP is a very good, if not authentic rose scent, which I find very successful. My personal favorite rose is another, Elisabethan Rose (1984) from Penhaligons.
Nevertheless I appreciate Chloe EdP very much and will always have him in my collection. Thanks, Mom!

The white linen-The clean scent no.1
I'm just spraying the last splashes of my 2010 White Linen bottle, and I've long appreciated and loved this fragrance
If all the sweet smells in my environment are too much for me again or I don't know what to wear I like to use Estee Lauders White Linen
There is something clean, pure, secure and reassuring about him, and yet he is not entirely innocent.
White Linens character is for me less flowery, at most dried flowery, but shows on me a very soapy, dry, but not dusty, very discreet flowery and restrained also spicy scent character.
Predominantly I hear the base of much, much vetiver and soft moss. Some amber provides a soft warmth. Everything else is softly lined up. The floral notes like the rose are only delicately hinted at. The same goes for jasmine and lily of the valley. Iris root and clove blossom are most likely to assert themselves next to the dry base and fit in perfectly. The perfect soap scent.
I find the Sillage very good and it also lasts very long. I find him to be the mother of all clean scents
White Linen reminds me very much of the scent of curd soap, more precisely of deer turpentine soap. Curd soap is a very hard "soapy" soap, dry, without glycerine and fats, the pure soap and very versatile. You can use it for washing clothes, for cleaning but also for body care of oily skin. And I love its fragrance, just like White Linen. Thank God I still have a Vintage EdP and also the Extrait at home. White Linen is a timeless classic. This fragrance should never be missing in my collection, I just love it!

My spring scent of peonies
Since yesterday I am wearing the beautiful springlike Pur Desir de Pivoine again. This beautiful soliflor is from the unique Pur Desir series by Yves Rocher. The Pur Desir -series was released in the two thousand years and has unfortunately been completely discontinued in the meantime. It included wonderfully flowery soliflors, simply but elegantly made. There was a lilac scent, a mimosa scent, orange blossom scent, lavender scent, a carnation rose scent, a gardenia scent, a lily scent and this very peony scent
Some of them I really liked to wear as a ladylike everyday scent in those days. In the meantime they are unfortunately hard to get and often at exorbitant prices. Since I have been with Parfumo, I have succeeded in getting hold of all the Pur Desir fragrances. The Pur Desir collection is, or was (I have used up the orange blossom scent in the meantime) complete
Now to the actual scent of my comment (so far I only praised the beautiful series...).
Pur Desir de Pivoine is a peony scent!
This would actually already describe the pyramid of fragrance. But what a beautiful peony scent it is! Pure peony. As if one were to stick one's nose into a freshly blossomed, lush, delicate pink flower of the peony. It smells like a whole peony bush. Delicate, fresh and yet intense and very natural. Like a freshly stuffed peony bouquet. Simply beautiful! A fragrance that dispels sorrow and worry with its flowery lightness. Something slightly apple-like I can possibly still hear, which supports the peony freshness rather still. The Sillage is not so shy at the beginning, rather intensive flowery. The shelf life is in the middle range. Just a fragrance for lovers of the peony.
As a young woman I often wore this at work. I used up a whole 60 ml bottle back then. Always elegant and ladylike, delicate and yet not too shy, it fits perfectly as an everyday fragrance for mild spring days. Only with the launch date of 2007 I was a bit surprised. I remembered it a few years earlier. Anyway, I'm glad to have a small stock, so I can't run out of this beautiful fragrance anymore.
