Ombré Leather - An entry fragrance into the leather theme
In the opening of the fragrance you smell right away the leather, which is a very natural leather.
By this I mean, for example, the typical smell of a leather jacket, a high-quality leather belt or but also the leather upholstery of a brand new car.
Sometimes the fragrance goes for me clearly in the masculine direction, the other day again in the feminine direction.
The reason for this is probably the jasmine note, which adds something floral to the fragrance and thus makes the fragrance very wearable for women.
That the fragrance is classified as unisex, is therefore logical.

Later, the jasmine note gets for my sensation more and more in the background, as the patchouli / patchouli and the amber prevail against this with a "we-are-now on the row mentality".

On my skin, the longevity is about 10-12 hours, which is really quite satisfying.
The sillage I feel as "good" to "very good", as especially in the first 2-3 hours the fragrance projects between one and three meters.
I would use a maximum of 4-5 sprays, so that the fragrance does not disturb your fellow men and also yourself too much.
Even with a usual workday it is well portable, however, I would use even less sprays there.

As a season, the autumn and winter is perfect, because the fragrance comes through the leather, the amber and the patchouli / patchouli dark and mysterious over.
In the spring, I would only wear it on the cooler spring days.
In summer, I would avoid Ombré Leather altogether because the scent can come across as too heavy, too offensive, and too overbearing for that.

For me, Ombré Leather is above all a very good entry fragrance for people who want to dive into the leather theme and have leather as a main note in a perfume, because it is not too expensive, but still smells very high quality and is very well received even by people who are not too concerned with fragrances.
You get namely every now and then from strangers a compliment for this fragrance and often the tenor is that you smell "unique" and "different" than the majority of perfume wearers.

From "Hmm, it's okay" to "Wow."
Terre d'Hermes was a fragrance that I had always heard a lot about, but tended to keep my distance because the comments were mostly not positive.
"You have to be at least 40 to wear it", "smells pungent", "doesn't smell modern", were just a few (negative) comments. But that's exactly what made me curious.
After all, as with getting to know people, I wanted to make my own picture of it, form my own opinion, because I have made the experience not to rely too much on opinions of others, because they are always very subjective.

As chance would have it, I got a sample one day with another fragrance order.
This sample was: Terre d' Hermès.I immediately sprayed the sample on my wrist.
"Hmm smells like a grated orange peel with some grapefruit notes.
Some more vetiver in the background," I thought to myself.A little pungent.

I was not exactly convinced and understood why some called this fragrance an "old man fragrance". The vetiver probably associates a certain maturity and masculinity.
This then ensures, especially initially, that one associates the fragrance with a person who is experienced in life and as a young person then feels like an older gentleman when wearing this fragrance.

But in the drydown, my opinion suddenly changed abruptly. The fragrance became softer and more pleasant, as I noticed more notes like cedar and a very little patchouli, which I personally like very much.I noticed how I subconsciously kept smelling my wrist, because especially in the first 2-3 hours the sillage is extraordinarily perceptible.

You can say that it went from a "Hmm, is okay", to a "wow effect".This fragrance clearly plays to its strengths in the drydown. Many perceive only the initially pungent orange note and immediately write off the fragrance. You have to give this complex fragrance a chance.I hardly know a single person who liked this fragrance right away. But if you give it a chance, you'll like it more and more. That's why Terre d' Hermès is the signature scent of many gentlemen: masculine, complex, mature (in spirit), luxurious, unique.

The durability on my skin was about 7-10 hours, which I consider good for an EdT.
You can wear it at any time of the year and in any environment (office, leisure, etc), which also makes it very versatile.By the way, after the sample was empty, I ordered the refill set with 30 + 125ml, which shows that I now like to wear this fragrance very much and very often.

The fragrance but please do not buy blindly, because it can not always come from "Hmm, is okay" to a "wow effect".

"Amber Pour Homme or L'Homme?" - "Both"
I have or had already some Prada fragrances in my collection .
Namely: Prada L'Homme, L'Homme Intense, Luna Rossa Black and Luna Rossa Carbon.
So it's safe to say that I really like the DNA of Prada fragrances, which is why I wanted at least one more Prada fragrance in my collection.
This time I have opted for the Amber Pour Homme EdT, because the fragrance notes have particularly appealed to me here.

Often this fragrance is compared with Prada L'Homme, because both go in a similar direction. This fragrance is namely like the L'Homme powdery and soapy.
Amber Pour Homme but at the same time still has a spicy-sweet note, which makes it more special in my opinion.
In addition, it has a better performance.
On my skin, Amber Pour Homme lasts at least 12 hours.
The projection is with me in about 1 hour and the sillage is rather moderate, as is the case with many other Prada fragrances.

I find that the Amber Pour Homme has more character than the L'Homme, as it smells more complex.
However, I don't think one has to exclude the other.
So just because I like Prada Amber Pour Homme better than the L'Homme, it does not mean the same,
that I can not still keep the L'Homme in my collection.
While both scents are in a similar direction, they are still different enough to have fun with both scents.
So a "fling" with both won't hurt :)

But now let's get back to the usual seriousness.
Amber Pour Homme is a very underrated fragrance and gets in my opinion, not the necessary recognition, which this fragrance should actually get.
Although it was released about 15 years ago, it is still very wearable and modern today, which shows that this fragrance is a timeless fragrance, because with this eau de toilette you smell elegant, clean, luxurious and professional.
It fits into any season and any environment (university, school & work).
However, I find it best as a spring-summer scent because it is a light, spicy-sweet and soapy scent.

It reminds me, like many others, of the soap in a luxury hotel, which immediately makes me want to go/fly on holiday straight away as I always get in a good mood when I smell this scent.

However, I would not recommend it without exception as a blind purchase, especially not if you expect a pure masculine fragrance due to the "Pour Homme" lettering.
Because this fragrance can have a "feminine touch" for some people, which is why I would classify it as unisex.

From the price-performance ratio, you can actually hardly get anything better.
Online you get Amber Pour Homme in the 100 ml variant for between 45 and 55 euros.
That's almost unbeatable for the quality you get.

If one would ask me:
"Amber Pour Homme or Prada L'Homme?", I would say "Both" :)

Time will tell
Prada "Luna Rossa Black" was a fragrance that I didn't find so "special" in the beginning and then sold it quite quickly.
Probably he was too sweet for me and also the Sillage had not convinced me so much at that time.
As fate would have it, I received the fragrance about a year later as a sample of another (perfume) order.
I was able to test it once more and noticed how good this fragrance actually is.

This time I noticed a certain "cola note" when I applied it, which I found totally pleasant.Prada "Luna Rossa Black" is not a fragrance that everyone notices immediately,
sondern rather a fragrance that envelops the wearer but does not fill the room, which I find even better by now, because it does not offend too much and in my opinion it is very elegant.

I find the durability to be "good" to "very good".
On my skin it lasts about 8-10 hours.Preis-Performance-wise, I find it very strong.

The seasons I consider suitable for this perfume are autumn and winter, but I could also imagine it very well in spring, when it's not too warm yet (max. 15 degrees). I would rather not wear it in summer, because the fragrance is (in my opinion) too heavy for summer and can't unfold perfectly.

With this fragrance I would really recommend everyone to give it some time and not to make any hasty decisions :)
