There is only to say for my part that Givenchy Gentleman is a very noble fragrance. It is more suitable for mature, self-confident personalities who can maintain sovereignty in all environments and situations

I tested this fragrance in a department store on a random occasion just before Christmas. I immediately fell in love with him, and I immediately realized that he was a very special, high-quality fragrance. However, I say this as one who likes Orientals, and I can only recommend him to those who also like this fragrance. I can't say much about the individual scents, because I lack the expertise for the individual scents. Clearly recognizable is the ambergris, which I so much appreciate and a resemblance to Chanel Egoiste is unmistakable - opium is not quite as complex and interesting, but deeper and heavier, like a ripe, noble and rare fruit. Certainly the fact that this is an EDP also plays a role here, and already therefore weighs more heavily than an EDT. Either way, I'm definitely enchanted.

While in the beginning the tones are rather fresh, the strong wave of ambergris gradually comes, which dominates until the end. All in all I find the scent, although I made a long bow around it for a long time, very beguiling and beautiful to smell, which didn't let me go after two tests. In my opinion, he does not come close to egoistic, but he still lacks the certain something, the fine accents perhaps, the opposite, the tension, but he has nested himself deep in my heart, and I like him. The bottle is very beautiful to look at and to touch, simply very noble.

I can say little about the individual scents, as I lack the practice and knowledge to do so. I am impressed by the differentiated way in which some noses in the community can recognise the individual fragrances. While trying it out I first thought of Amber and later I smelled the rose. Overall a fragrance for more mature personalities, it is a heavy fragrance with depth. The fragrance reminds me of the scent dealers in the Great Bazaar in Istanbul who trade in scented oils. Amber, Oud, Patchouli, Musk,... The scent is through and through an Oriental. For followers of this fragrance is definitely a sample worth. I've taken a liking to it, and now it's in my collection
