Yeah, I like it.
and well, actually always better.
The first time I stumbled on the forum about Elle, looking for a replacement for Midnight Poison. Quickly, however, the thought of him was displaced by another fragrance (Vengeance Extreme).
A few months later, while shopping at the local Müller, this bright pink bottle with the golden package caught my eye. Only one tester was left on the shelf. Super, I thought, then you can test him yet. Two sprays on the Unteram, hmm ok fruity with a sweetish freshness, red fruits, beautiful but does not blow me away.
Actually, I had at that moment already made a hook to the fragrance, I do not have to have, you have yes Vengeance when it comes to a similar fragrance to Midnight Poison. Your collection has already grown so much lately and you do not have to have so many similar scents.
Nevertheless, the thought of Elle did not let me go in the next few weeks, seems as if he did something with my subconscious, the scoundrel.
So ordered the fragrance, the big bottle. He makes already what her, heavy in the hand and despite the really gaudy pink not kitschy. A real eye-catcher.

I must say I feel my fragrance differently than the tester in the Müller. He also starts fruity / citrus fresh with a certain sweetness, but here comes a certain spice in play, a slight sharpness that I like, he gives the fragrance but a small edge that does not let him go down in this mash of fruity sweet fragrances. The sweetness I feel also not at all as pappig, sticky rather than transparent and nevertheless the fragrance is already strongly perceptible at the beginning.
The rose shows up but soon and can assert itself well next to the red fruits that now come to it, at this time also disappears the slightly brizzelige pepper note that may tickle some in the nose.
After about 2 hours, the fragrance no longer radiates with me so much, but is still easily perceptible. After 4-5 hours, the scent is already close and still comes again and again so a breath that rises to my nose. Now the fragrance is also more grounded by the patchouli, becomes creamy, less sweet, rose and fruits are still to be guessed. After 6-7 hours I must already with the nose to the skin, now he says goodbye so slowly, unless you got what on the clothes ;-)
Does he have something of Midnight Poison? Kind of. Who likes Midnight Poison will also like this, if you do not take it so exactly.
Possibly it is because I bought Elle at the beginning of spring, but I find with still cool spring days he fits perfectly. I also feel him as a good mood fragrance, mood-lifting, somehow he has what of new beginnings, like nature in the spring. I've been wearing it for three days and it does me good.

My darling!
For days I've been thinking about how to write a comment for this fragrance. A comment that does this fragrance justice. Yes, it will probably be very subjective. To use Gollum's words: "My darling!" Gollum fell for the glow of the ring, I fell for the scent of Farah
Where had you been hiding, in a cave from the Arabian Nights?
Via detours, as it probably happens a thousand times here on Parfumo, I stumbled across Him. About Midnight Poison, Angels Share, Ambre Narguile, fragrance twins and fragrance notes researched. Read in threads, looked at recommendations and researched again. Sniffed Arabesque and Maasai Mara. Samples ersoukt. But you know that.
I like all of the ones mentioned here extremely well. They are not all twins to each other, but for me a direction emerges that is probably mine. Oriental-sweet, Oriental-spicy.
Farah was actually a blind buy then and I'm glad I made it. Of all the ones I've mentioned so far, Farah is my sweetheart, my favorite, the most beautiful scent in my collection for me. And I do not want to add "so far", because at the moment I firmly believe that Farah is my fragrance, and my treasure will remain.
How does it smell now? I do not know how to explain it, instead I think of lots of adjectives, spicy, sweet, dark, mysterious, sensual seductive, unique, beautiful.
Date, honey and the resins give a varied sweetness that is not cardboard sweet or sticky. Cinnamon adds its spice, patchouli and I think musk and leather ground the composition and give this fragrance a mystical aura. Oh, it's just so beautiful.
Before this comment now drifts too much into the kitschy I end this here at this point.
Just so much, the shelf life is very good. With me at least 12 hours. Sillage is also very good from my point of view, although I can not judge that so well myself vllt.
And now I hope times he can always wear summer, maybe only a sprayer...a half

Shall we have another drink?
Finally the package is there. I sit in the living room on the couch, next to me my husband.
"Look how beautiful," I say to him. I devoutly hold out the bottle's packaging to him and he nods casually. I celebrate the opening by slowly pulling the loop on the side. Little by little, the bottle comes to light, shining out of the dark velvet bed in its golden yellow. Carefully I take out the small glass bottle, cradle it in my hands, look at it from all sides. Then I hold it out to my husband:" Here, take a look at how precious this feels. Really heavy." My husband takes the scent, weighs it in his hand, nods, and hands it back to me.
Hmph A little disappointed because my enthusiasm is only tersely shared, I pull the cap off the bottle and spray once on my forearm.
I sniff, look at my husband and suddenly I have his full attention.
Me: "Do you know what that smells like?"
He: "You know what that reminds me of?"
Me: "It smells like that liquor after dinner at the restaurant."
He: "Yulishka!"
Right.
My enthusiasm is really dampened now. I wave my arm, hoping for the drydown. Do I want to smell like warm Yulishka liqueur? I'd rather not. In Croatian restaurants known for their hearty and rich food, you often get this liqueur warmed after your meal. When I smell a scent, do I want to be reminded of my overstuffed belly and unbuttoned pants because the portion was so big and my eyes were bigger than my stomach? Um, no!
I'll stop with the arm waving, tidy up a bit. The outer packaging of the online store, the foil, a little bit here a little bit there before I put my nose back to my forearm.
Lucky me, it's developing. The warm fruit liqueur fades into the background. The fruity remains, but the alcoholic, fermented disappears. Add to that the cloves and some smoke. Yes, I like this much better already. A little later the vanilla joins in and I can also perceive something slightly woody. Even better, so he can stay and so he also remains.

Now I'm curious how he behaves in the spring or summer. According to hearsay, he should be wearable throughout the year. I will test it, because Dolce Amalfi pleases and the fragrance stays with me. And every time I when I apply him I will think of Julischka and then ask myself whether I can tolerate another .... another sprayer

Pleasant oud?
Raghba was one of the first fragrances I bought a bottling of. I wanted to be bold times, dealt with perfumes for a few weeks, and again and again I stumbled over Raghba and statements such as: portable oud, pleasing oud, oud for beginners, not so extreme oud.

Alright, I thought, this has to be something different. Something what there is not on every corner and still affordable, if the fragrance should really like and a flacon hermuss.
Here is briefly mentioned, I move only recently in the perfume world, but it has grabbed me. Currently, I'm probably in the phase of wanting to discover and I imagine one or the other fragrance can sniff meanwhile. That's great for me as a newbie, yet I do not imagine with the experienced hares here to keep up can.
But that's not what it's about for me. I'm about what I like and if I can only comment in layman's terms, so I think that my layman's impression can also be helpful

At the beginning I could hardly differentiate the different fragrances. Over time, I have sniffed many other fragrances, ordered me samples and tested.
Meanwhile, I can recognize oud many a time, even if it is somewhat hidden or wearable and pleasing. ;-)
I have already smelled fragrances in which the oud is stronger and can now understand if someone says: This is too strong for me or I do not like it. I don't like it too strong either, but in Raghba it's really soft and blends beautifully with the other notes.

I have owned a bottle of Raghba for about half a year now. So he had to move in!

Raghba starts directly with everything he has. I smell a nice sweet vanilla with Oudeinschlag, which gives the fragrance from my point of view something special. Something smoky I also perceive, which also comes out a little in the course of the fragrance and dampens the sweetness a little. Sandalwood and musk are still indicated, but I can not smell out. I could imagine that sandalwood and musk are responsible for the incense is not cold and sacral. Raghba is a warm scent, oriental. He has a very good durability and in the first hours a good sillage.
For me, a fragrance for autumn / winter definitely for colder temperatures. I think I'll still make me times the fun and test him always summer. Whether the oud then still like? :-D

sweet-floral wins
This is supposed to be a commentary on Libre Intense, nevertheless, I would like to first go further out and start with Libre from 2019.
The original release is described here on Parfumo as floral-sweet, and that's exactly the order in which it starts. I had received a sample of Libre with an order, among other things. At that time, there was no talk of the Intense version. Lavender and vanilla? Yep, it fits. Sprayed it on and sniffed it. Oh no! Very floral, somehow also fresh, but mainly something stings my nose. I suspect neroli. That was it with us, that will certainly nothing.

Almost remained denied me by this fragrance experience Libre Intense. Again in an order comes with a sample. When unpacking the package, my eyes fell on the additions and the Pröbchen Libre Intense landed directly in the drawer, unnoticed and not sniffed.

In the next time I heard again and again, I must admit mainly through Youtube videos, that Libre Intense should be more beautiful, rounder. So the drawer pulled open and Libre (floral-sweet) against Libre Intense (sweet-floral compete). Doesn't hurt. And sweet-floral wins!

Nothing stings with Libre Intense, no neroli, not that unpleasant citrus undertone. The mandarin I can guess, the bergamot just a hint. Mainly, I directly perceive this lavender vanilla scent, which also comes across as very sweet. Please do not misunderstand, not sugary, not squeaky extremely sweet, just pleasantly lovely.

On my skin I notice lavender, vanilla, tonka. Cozy warm with a pleasant sweetness.
The fragrance lasts on my skin all day, on clothes even several days as I recently found. The individual components are very well interwoven from my point of view and their weight changes very slowly over the day. The lavender becomes less but is still perceptible. All in all a great fragrance, radiates warmth and comfort, for me a mature fragrance that radiates self-confidence. Christmas Libre Intense was allowed to move in with me.

PS. By the way, I find that Mon Guerlain Intense, which I really like, comes from the same family. No twin, but a 2nd or 3rd cousin
