Sex in a bottle
Hello dear community,

in the meantime I have been wearing the EdP version of the oh so beloved La Nuit series regularly for a few months and would like to share my experience and opinion with you now
communicate.

When I started to occupy myself more intensively with this hobby at the beginning of the year, I naturally came across the La Nuit series - like most people. Especially the so much praised original version of the EDT I wanted to try it out. Also because of the well-known YouTuber it was very hyped, which made me curious accordingly. So I went into a big department store and looked for the YSL shelves... After I found all the La Nuits, I first grabbed the EdT and sprayed it on my wrist... First thought: "Pooh, it's kind of musty and not for me at all..." "Anyway, it's only the top note, wait and see", I thought.
(It is said that the older batches cannot be compared with the new ones; I cannot confirm this or even comment on it, because I never smelled the old batches...).

A few bottles further on I noticed another bottle, red-black, the same style of bottle, the same lettering, but eau de parfum... "Oh, the same as EdP? Well, I'll test that one out right away," I thought
I immediately took the bottle and sprayed it on my other wrist "Poah, that's intense! And damn sexy!" [...] Yeah, at the EdP I had this wow-effect that the EdT didn't give me...

So the first impression was mega! To test the durability, sillage and unfolding of the EDP, I sprayed myself with 4-5 sprays and spent some time outside...
Arriving home about 3h later, I greeted my partner and her comment was: "What do you have this time? It smells and calls for sex. xD [...].

Well, the fragrance had knocked me out from the start, but this compliment finally convinced me to buy it. So I searched online for a good price and found it. So I ordered the big 100ml bottle...
A few days later I went to a restaurant for a team dinner with my work colleagues... When I hugged the female colleagues in greeting, one of them said with a wink: "Well, who do you want to pick up today? You smell very attractive." [...]

After a few weeks of wearing it, I have noticed that it does not necessarily carry such a big cloud of scent, i.e. the Sillage is rather mediocre. But the durability is even better; on my skin it lasts 8-9 h! I sprayed it on my wrist again before going to bed yesterday and could still perceive it well after waking up.

The fragrance opens refreshing and spicy, the grapefruit already stands out at the opening and puts you in a good mood. The cardamom is a little overdone, but still gives it the exotic spice for a masculine touch. After a while, notice the lavender; it's not one of my favourite notes (so far at least), but it gives the fragrance a pleasant freshness (for my nose) - and matching the grapefruit. In the further course of time it becomes fruity or honey-sweetish (that's how I perceive it); could and should be the absolute... In the dry-down, the sandalwood gives it that sensually warm, oriental flair that I like so much. The patchouli and vetiver also make the fragrance earthy and woody-tart, which makes it very long-lasting. Overall, this EdP has a very dynamic development, which I like very much.

I let some of my buddies smell that scent once... The consensus among them is that this is a one-night stand scent.. :D
[...]

Conclusion:
As mentioned above, this fragrance does not have any so-called. Monster silage; you have to get close to smell it. But on the skin it is then all the more intense. And I think this is intended. I wasn't interested in the EDT at all, because the EDP convinced me so much. This is really a very attractive, sensual and erotic scent, which despite a minimal synthetic is very seductive for women... Regarding the seasons, you can wear the mMn every season except midsummer (it would be too strong for me). But rather in the evening; during the day I see it less...
You should give him a chance, because mMn he really just smells incredibly sexy, sexy, and again sexy!
[...].

And I thank everyone as always for reading and wish you something!

The fine, noble and glamorous groom
Hello dear friends,

after a certain time, in which I could wear this fragrance now, I would like to present you my view of the things to this Beau.

When was the very first time that thing blew up my nose? Well, it was at the beginning of this year, and I was blown away...

It was just after the Christmas holidays at Amsterdam airport. Together with my partner we spent a few days in this beautiful city right at the beginning of the new year. Before the flight back home we strolled a little through the duty free to test the one or other scent (well, actually only my better half... I was not really a fragrance lover at that time...).

When we left the shop again, I noticed a gentleman; extremely handsome and chic at the same time. Light grey three-piece suit, pink tie, white handkerchief, brown leather monkstraps, business suitcase, travelling alone...
"He looks like he's waiting for his bride in a wedding dress," I thought... Looking a little bored around, but then running towards duty-free. Passing us, he left this wonderful Sillage... "Mmm..." I turned to him and thought: "You not only look good, you smell fucking phenomenal!" My partner noticed the whole thing, grinning and just shaking her head... I was so curious and wanted to know what this guy was wearing... So I went back to the duty free and just asked him...
"Excuse me Sir, you smell fantastic. What is it?"
"It's by Prada."
"Only Prada?"
"No Sir, it's called Prada L'Homme Intense."
[...]

Well, I already knew about the regular Prada L'Homme or had heard of it, but as a newcomer in the fragrance world at that time, I had not yet seen an Intense version...
As soon as I arrived home, I simply ordered it blind; I didn't even want to follow up on reading a few reviews and ratings. I would be absolutely convinced that he would smell wonderful on me and that I already loved him after this unique smell...

The scent also arrived a few days later and I immediately sprayed myself with it; neck, back of the neck, back of the head, shirt, wrists... felt nothing left out... When my partner came home, her comment was not long in coming: "That's not you who smells so wonderful here, is it? My smile was her answer...

What does he smell like? So mMn this scent matched the gentleman at the airport as well as the well-known fist in the eye. It is a fragrance for the groom. A fragrance for really special occasions.

The powdery iris is right at the start and says: "Here I am, and I'm staying there too!" From the top note to the base, it's present. Adding to this, the finely sweet tonka bean and sensual sandalwood, one of my favourite notes, complete the dominant powdery-sweet, noble and glamorous aura that surrounds this wonderful fragrance. Discreetly in the background I can perceive some woody notes; I think it must be the patchouli, which gives it that certain something and is the icing on the cake.

Conclusion:
In the meantime I have tested or at least smelled all Prada fragrances known to me, but for me personally this one is the very best Prada! It radiates elegance and luxury like hardly any other designer.
I only wear it in the evening when I go out or for special occasions in general, as it is simply too good for everyday life.
The durability and silage are very good on my skin; stays on me great 7-8h and projects very strongly in the first 3h.
This one is one of those few fragrances I will probably wear forever...
[...]

And I hope as always, you had fun reading :) Wish you something else then!

You want compliments? Go get it!
Hello friends,

before I get to the fragrance, I would like to thank my perfume colleague TiCo89 again! I registered here about 3 months ago (thank God!) and he was the first souker I used. After several videos, reviews and other reviews I was mega excited and full of anticipation for this fragrance. Thanks to his sample I had him in my hands for the first time

Right after that I also ordered a bottle and have had the Armaf CDNIM for about 2.5 months now. It's about time that I finally comment this one. Because there is a good reason for that...

I personally know the MB Explorer as well as Al Haramain L'Aventure as a "clone" of Aventus. It is said that the older batches from Aventus are not comparable with the newer ones and I read and hear similar things via the CDNIM. However, since I haven't been around too long, I can't evaluate older batches of these two scents, because I never tested them. But what I can do is evaluate or compare the newer (i.e. 2020 bottles).

When I sprayed the sample from the CDNIM on my wrist (this happened around 3pm), I was immediately struck by the heavy sillage, which I found very positive (I personally love to smell myself :) ).
The opening was ultra aromatic, fresh and surrounded by a delicious pineapple-citrus mix that even I, as a "still newcomer", knew how to perceive. I sprayed again, this time in the crook of my arm and my thought: "Poah, what a great male scent!" [...] To test the shelf life, I went out, did some shopping and later on had something to eat and drink. When I came home at about 9 pm, my wrist and the crook of my arm smelled (almost) exactly as if I had sprayed it fresh. "Unbelievable!", I thought...

The next morning, of course, I sprayed myself with 5 sprayers right away with the sample and drove to work. A colleague came into the office (I was already sitting there with a few others) and asked the group: "Mmm, who smells so delicious? My colleagues - yes, all female - looked at me and grinned. The male colleague opened his eyes and asked in amazement: "What, it's you? And that in a group of women?"
One of the female colleagues replied: "At least he smells good, unlike others, and we love men who smell nice." Well, if that wasn't a little side blow to this colleague...

During the lunch break, this colleague came to me and asked about the scent: "Listen, what exactly are you wearing? He caught me, and he wants to buy me one." "If you liked men as much as I do, we wouldn't still be standing here." D [...]

On the same day I went to the supermarket after closing time (around 15 o'clock, I added another 1 splash). At the cash register stood in front of me a very attractive lady, middle/end 30th I watched how she turned 2-3 times and smiled at me once
"Excuse me, is that you?" she asked
"What am I?" I sassyly retorted
"Well that perfume, is it yours?"
"I think so. Like it?"
"I've never done this before, but yes, very much so."
[...]

When I arrived at home around 16 o'clock, I could smell the scent myself. So in terms of durability and sillage it is just brutal. It lasts 8h+ on me, the sillage is enormous in the first 4-5h; one is very well noticed in the surrounding area.

To draw a comparison to the Aventus, I went to the turquoise one day later, of course again with 5 splashes of CDNIM. I sprayed the Aventus on my wrist and noticed a saleswoman in the corner of my eye coming towards me. Before she could ask the standard question ("Can I help?"), I saw her stop for a moment, squint her eyes together, sniff in my direction with her nose and ask me: "Wow, what do you have? That's..." And she licked her lips briefly with her tongue... Yeah, I've never seen anything like it...
[...]

Well, to get back to the Aventus. Concerning durability I can say that this one has just reached the 4-5h mark, but that's all I could get. Sillage was 1h good, afterwards a pure "skin-scent"
The Aventus m.M.n.'s opening is a bit more citrusy and fruity, while the CDNIM's CDNIM, in my opinion, also has smoke right at the beginning, but without neglecting the freshness at the opening. In the further course I hardly recognize a difference, except for the dry-down. That's where I perceive the patchouli at the CDNIM, which gives it an earthy and masculine wood-tangy character.

Of all the fragrances I own, the CDNIM is by far the biggest compliment getter. The situations I just mentioned are only a fraction of what I have already heard about this fragrance. With no other fragrance have I really received as many compliments as with this one. In my circle of friends, for example, it was so well received that some of my friends ordered it. And they are not as addicted to scents as I am now xD

Conclusion:
Regarding the price-performance ratio, this one is simply unbeatable! That's why I personally would prefer it to the Aventus every time. Simply because of my own experience... It is so good and universal mMn that it can be worn in every season and on every occasion. I think every guy should have this in his collection. I have also tested the MB Explorer and the Al Haramain L'Aventure, but for me these two don't come close to CDNIM.
And with the price you can buy some back-up bottles (my 2nd is already on the way:) ).
Well, while there's still one, put it with the boys. Your environment will thank you for it ;)

And as always, thanks to everyone who read all this. Make a wish!

The Arabian Nights
Hello dear friends,

now that I have worn this fragrance for a while and have only written a statement, I want to make a comment after all.

For me personally, fragrances generally have a lot to do with memories. It's no different with the Narciso Rodriguez For Him EdP, because when I ordered it blind and held my nose to the spray head for the first time after spraying, I immediately had certain associations... You want to know them? Well then read them yourself...

During my childhood and youth I regularly spent the summer holidays in the home country of my parents (Middle East). We were always away for a full 5 weeks, enjoying the warm weather and delicious food... :)
Beside the usual beach holiday, the obligatory family visit was also on the agenda :/
(Oh God, but that was mostly boring...).
But if both parents have 8 siblings each and all of them have several children, then there will be some relatives who have to be visited and also want to be visited, as you can surely imagine... ;)

So when I held the bottle in my hand and smelled it, my brain immediately signaled, "Stop! Stop! Fuck!" [...] I closed my eyes, put my nose to the spray head again and spoke to myself: "Boy, that smell... You know it!" [...] I knew right away how and why I found it so beautiful and I love it now...

Whenever my relatives visited me at that time, I was greeted by warm hugs, kisses on the cheeks etc. [...]
I remembered how the female relatives of mine, in this case my aunts, always dressed up and made up, left a cloud of scent in the rooms, which, for whatever reason and even today, always reminded me of 1001 nights...

It was then once again one of those evenings. As usual, we sat at the table with several people, ate, drank, laughed and just had a good time (at least the adults... as a child I often found it boring...). But this time an aunt was late and I held the door open for her. Already in the hallway you could see her Sillage... She came towards me, I closed my eyes for a moment... "Mmm..." [...]. When she squeezed me, I didn't want to let go of her..
I sat down with my mother again and whispered softly in her ear: "Mom, why do my aunts always smell so beautiful?" Her casual reply, "Yes, my son, they are my sisters too." XD And the following wink I still have in mind today after almost 25 years (!)...
I have no idea what scent she was wearing at the time, but this NR For Him EdP always brings back memories of the summer holidays and reminds me of my aunts...

This fragrance here apparently consists of only 3 notes, but it must be this musk, which my aunts liked to wear so much back then... ...and I really liked it When I was little, I said to my aunt, who came out later, "When I grow up, I want to smell like you!" I had never heard her laugh so loud before and I never heard her laugh again afterwards...

Back to the fragrance itself: The iris and the pink pepper are rather discreet in this brilliant fragrance, the pepper is strongly present at the opening, later it fades into the background and the musk plays the leading role with the fine iris and makes the whole character.

I haven't been around long and still have a lot of scents to try, but I already know that I like the notes musk, iris and pepper in particular and that they are one of my favourites... You could almost think that Francis Kurkdjian made this one just for me... :D (LOL... I wish...).

Conclusion:
Especially at this time of the year (spring/summer) it is excellent to use, both during the day and in the evening. Also in autumn you can wear the super.
I also think that it can be called unisex (Yes, I like unisex scents, I'm noticing more and more...) But from especially women I have already received many compliments for the... :)
And there may be some who find it perhaps too boring because of the straightforwardness and the few developments in the fragrance process, but mMn is just this restraint in the composition of the fragrances the special thing here. Sometimes less is more... And thank god, as we all know, tastes are different... ;)
I'm so glad I bumped into him, though. And if I had to choose a total of only 5 fragrances for the rest of my life...
Oh you beauty, you are definitely in!

[...]
So people, I hope you enjoyed reading this post. As always I would like to thank everyone for reading it and wish you all something!

See you soon...

Ma chérie, est-ce que tu veux une rose?
Hello dear friends,

as my very first comment has recently been well received, I now venture to make my second. For this I have chosen the Cartier Déclaration d'un Soir EDT. Why this one? Well, come with me, I'll take you on my journey...

Well, first of all I would like to mention how much I like the French language and the country. Not least because of my first stay in the country in 2006, and since then I have been there several times. Just like about 6.5 years ago...

It's late summer 2013, I'm in my late 20s, have completed my training and am in the middle of my subsequent studies. Psychologically, I'm in a shitty state, I'm in some kind of early-life crisis... "Dude, you really need to get away from everything and everybody," I keep telling myself. What have I done? I took a semester off and flew to France, to Canet-en-Roussillon, a seaside resort in the south at the Spanish border... *superbe et fantastique*...
(Since I had done a 2-month internship there years before and I liked it so much, I decided to go there).

I flew in October 2013 and I rented a small 1-room holiday flat directly at the Mediterranean Sea for 1 month. The first morning I stood on the balcony... "It's crazy, back home it rains, the wind is 5 degrees... sun, beach, sea, 25 degrees..." I said to myself. And that's just what I needed...

I'm going out and take a little walk along the sea. Then I sit down in a small, chic café and treat myself to a petit déjeuner with croissant, café au lait, honey and jam... I am about to bite into my croissant and suddenly a wonderful smell comes up in my nose... "Cool, what or who is that?" I ask myself. At my next table, a couple, both in their mid-30s, locals... "Bonjour monsieur, ca va?" Yes, the French greet you wherever you go, polite people... I say hello back and listen to them a bit. Then a gust of wind and again this unique smell... "Okay, that must be them... Hmm, should I just ask?" I did it right away and complimented them on it. Answer: "O la la, merci beaucoup Monsieur! C'est Cartier Déclaration d'un Soir, très délicieux, n'est-ce pas?" It is the perfume of the gentleman... I reply, "Oui, Monsieur, je l'aime beaucoup." And to my surprise, he even has a little sample with him, which he gives me... I thank him and after a few minutes I moved on...

So, this was my first touch of this fragrance. But what happened next? Well, a few days later, I met a French woman, Caroline, a fine, beautiful young lady... At that time, I was far from being in the "perfume business" and only had the HB Bottled and Le Male from JPG, which I had taken with me... Then shortly before our first date: "Come on, you can't wear the Le Male now, everybody knows it anyway and in France even more boys" I said to myself... Well, then I took the sample from the gentleman and sprayed myself completely full of it... (were about 3-4 ml).

Well, I got another rose for her (note: I had no idea which notes this fragrance had, I didn't check it before or something! I waited and waited and waited... After about 20-30 minutes she arrived, hug, kisses left, right, left and she apologized several times, she was obviously embarrassed... Missed the bus... "Well, as long as she is there", was my thought...
I held the rose behind my back and handed it out. "Est-ce que tu veux ma rose?" I asked shyly. She was embarrassed, turned red, accepted it and thanked me. Then suddenly she hugged me again and I felt her smell on my neck and inhaled tiiiii deeply... She said how great I smelled, I pressed her to me and thought: "Yes man, she must like the scent :D..."
We got a sandwich for the road, went for a walk on the beach promenade and talked for hours, lying on the beach, with a view of the sea... At some point she was lying deep in my arms and stuck to my neck, and I just enjoyed the moment...

So, back in Germany :) Some years have passed... About 1.5 years ago I started to deal with fragrances more intensively and only a few months ago I accidentally came across this fragrance from Cartier again. I was at the Türkisen and saw the bottle, immediately I had of course flashbacks... "Oh, Caroline, ma chérie..." went straight through my head... I took the tester and sprayed twice on my wrist. Immediately, this fresh spice went up my nose... "Yes, man, that's exactly how he smelled then..."
I bought a big 100ml bottle and went home. But the tester stayed only 1h on my skin, I was quite disappointed (but I think it was the tester, which stood there in the light for too long). So in the evening I sprayed myself with the bought bottle and the shelf life was ok, good 5h. Sillage was well noticeable in the first 2h, after that it became weaker.

But why do I still rate the fragrance so well overall? I got an older batch online a few days ago (I used up my first one from Douglas) and couldn't be happier. It now lasts 8 hours and the sillage is brutal in the first 4 hours! People around you notice you very well. And after this brutal 4h I can still smell it on myself, which is very pleasant because of the sandalwood. I just love this spicy fresh top note with the cardamom, which also lasts for a long time. And when the rose comes out, in the combination with the sandalwood in the base note, then it's over for me...

Conclusion:
For many it may be feminine, but I would call it unisex and the spicy pepper makes it masculine enough for me to wear it. Translated, the perfume is called "Explanation of an evening/night", so you might think this one is meant for the evenings. Well, I also like to wear it during the day in my free time, because I find it really cool! And mMn you can wear it in every season. So a great allrounder!

Well, then we would have come to the end of it again. I notice, it's really fun to write comments here :) Hope you also enjoyed reading. Anyway, I thank each and every one of you and wish you all something!
