This attar has a very green musk feel to it, the signature musk of Abdul Karim is definitely here, that lush clean musk. Sweet, green, airy and musky, perfect for spring time. In the dry down I start to get more of the myrrh and sandalwood without losing the musky feel. It smells very clean and fresh, a simple yet beautiful composition, very easy to like. Longevity around 6h with soft to moderate sillage.

Papaya, papaya and papaya, a blast of tropical vibe at the opening. Then it develop further, the japanese cherry blossoms and the aloe vera, give it a soft floral green nuance. In the end we a get a very tropical fresh mukhallat, with a touch of woody smokiness to it, not sure if it's from the oud, the black tea or both, but probably it's from the oud, compared to Abdul other attars we can trace his beautiful oud signature, woody with a small hint of smokiness, just beautiful. Wonderfull composition, and I usually don't like most tea fragrances.
The first time I tried this, it was winter, I didn't enjoy it as much, the notes need a bit of warm (20º+ celsius) to really develop and shine.
Longevity on my skin is not the greatest on this one (4 to 5 hours), wish it lasted a bit more, but the scent trapped within clothes will last a long time.

Very safe, easy to like mukhallat, very tropical and fresh, best for warmer months. Unisex, leaning a bit more masculine in my opinion.

Very dry oud fragrance (no barnyard note at all in this one, very safe), very woody with a beautiful smoky note. There's a bit of vanilla and patchouly that give it a very slightly sweet boozy feel to it. Linear and beautiful, smells very natural and soft, this is more a personal experience.
A still only have a sample, but I find this one beautiful for blending, I mean, until now it blends perfectly with everything, giving it a woody smoky feel to it (btw when I got it it was named oud kalimatan, then it disappeared from the store, when I asked Abdul Karim he said the name changed to Oud Borneo, so I'm pretty sure Oud Kalimatan and Oud Borneo are the same, still need to check it again when I order it).

A deeper, mature and more sophisticated version of La nuit de l'homme, for a gentleman 28/30+ not so much for a younger crowd.
More powerful and mature fragrances then is older brother.

PS: I think it has been reformulated, my version 2015 (more or less) is much more stronger, spicier and less fruity and lasts 8 hours easily. The last time I've tried this one on store (2017) it was much much lighter, more fruity, less spicy and overall lackluster.

Now, this is one hell of a good fragrance! Warm and cozy yet powerfully sexy and manly.
I must say, the bottle replicates exactly what you will smell, love that design so much!
I'm not a big fan of spicebomb (actually it gives me some weird feelings in my stomach), on my skin at least I don't understand why people compare MIB to Spicebomb, maybe the opening with the spices but that's all I think they have in common, to me, MIB is a more sophisticated scent, more mature, and that mix of rum and leather, and I do get some tuberose which give it a very sensual yet very masculine vibe, wonderful.
