If velvet had a scent
Like a soft cloak of velvet, Dior Homme Intense wraps itself around its wearer, nestling in warm, delicate features and enveloping him in a powdery, dry, warmly soft aura.
Slowly, the fragrance melts into the skin and next to the omnipresent, luxurious iris note, cedar wood now enters after some time, which, however, always remains in the background and never displaces the main actor, the iris.
In contrast to the perfume, Dior Homme Intense puts the focus more on the iris. The Intense is thus even less fresh, even more powdery and even warmer.
The perfume is unique and incomparable, a jewel from the designer industry and anything but mainstream. Who likes iris and is looking for a perfume with more depth, more wood and a little less powderiness, should take a look at the Bois d'Argent from the Dior Privee series.

Lemon groves under the burning Italian sun
Crickets chirping, rays of sunlight penetrating the sparse canopy of gnarled olive trees, the view into the distance where the sea blurs with the azure sky, the bone-dry, stony ground beneath you. The scent of lemon groves mingles with your own sweat under the glistening heat - the result: bergamask.
It is Bergamask by no means a sweet, no much more a sour lemon scent. The freshness of the lemon is complemented by a woody, earthy, almost sweaty musk component, which makes the perfume very elegant and gives it depth. In the drydown, this musk note strengthens, it becomes increasingly stronger and displaces the lemon, but never to 100%.
Bergamask is hardly comparable to other fresh fragrances, because the lemon freshness is permanently accompanied by the heaviness of the musk. Sillage and durability are unbeatable, no question.
In my opinion, the ideal summer fragrance for those who like lemon, earth, wood and musk and are looking for a unique fresh fragrance that still has the necessary depth and elegance.
