Scentwitch

This perfume is surprisingly sweet and fruity, but also strangely fresh. It’s different from anything I’ve ever tried.

I smell black cherry, which is incredible. It smells strong in the top notes. Roses comes out a few minutes later and then the fragrance warms up for a smooth finish.
It’s worth a try!

A very well presented white floral that’s easy to wear for any occasion. For me it feels feminine, summery, approachable, yet I’d be careful not to overspray as it does have quite a bit of reach.
I spray twice on my wrists then dab them elsewhere. It gives me an all over scent without feeling as if I marinated in it.
While not high up on my favorite list, it still has a place there, perhaps at the bottom and only worn in the summer.

I was never a fan of the original perfume, but I do enjoy this version of La Vie est Belle.

I smell Iris first, and the projection is good. The scent trails behind me when I walk according to my family. In comes a powdery creaminess that is much softer and still quite lovely. I pick up a vanilla that’s not in the scent notes.

I never noticed the jasmine sambac, but it does register as “milky” to some degree even though that’s a hard note to describe. It’s very well blended together.

In all, I’m not sure if I’d buy a large bottle of it, but it is enjoyable.

I normally don’t choose gourmands or fruit scented perfumes. However, I see this Viktor and Rolf bonbon as a classic. The bottle is beautiful, of course and it’s nice and pink, totally girly. What I’m saying is the bottle is right up my alley. As a consistent dieter, wearing this perfume makes me hungry. That’s not always a good thing, but it is good when people compliment you on how great you smell. For that alone, it’s worth buying.
The sillage is decent when it’s first sprayed, but it ebbs with time. I honestly haven’t paid too much attention to the longevity. But I think several hours later I can still smell it if even just a little bit.

It is the one nice bottle I like to have on hand as a gourmand fragrance.

Although I only own a dram, this perfume packs a good punch. The scent is floral and mostly jasmine. I can’t pick out any of the other scent notes, though Gardenia is there, very subtly.

If you like simple perfumes, you should try this house. Don’t judge them from the bottle, as many of them smell exactly the same until you wear them.
